Played a gig here with my band. Great venue for gigs but overall a cracking pub. Staff were great, friendly and attentive

What an amazing place to enjoy a pint, watching sport or just to unwind. Staff by far the best in Cheltenham.

No food served but You can bring your own, bands played there all weekend so was an awesome Atmosphere recommended

Excellent pub with excellent crowds.

Had a great time here and came in a few times over the weekend. Bar staff were super friendly and enjoyed the sunshine in the beer garden.

Good pub, always a friendly atmosphere in there. The bar staff are all friendly and polite and service is quick. You can bring your own food in here which is a huge benefit. Bombay and co express across the road will literally come across the road to bring you your food to the bar. Beers good and not too expensive.

This Pub seems a bit run down and in my opinion more suited for students or younger professionals. Drinks are cheap enough and caters for sitting outside. Not a bad experience but not not the best. Ok for a few drinks if passing through the Lower High Street.

Very much a classic sports pub in the centre of town but with lots of pool tables upstairs and tables with their own individual TVs. Very student vibe

Great place to see live bands and great choice of non alcohol drinks as well alcoholic beverages . As I am Mostley the designated driver so the option of non alcoholic drinks was my relieve instead of having boring cola

I come here regularly to watch football. There are ample screens to watch events on and I like that you can bring in your own food.

By far the best pub in cheltenham! Rough? No!! Dive??? Absolutely not!! OK the toilets aren't brilliant but they have charm!! But above everything!! Great beer, great staff, amazing music and the best locals you'll ever meet! You'll meet friends for life and your next favorite band at the frog!!! 🤘🤘

It was Easter Sunday afternoon to evening so it wasn't at it's busiest but the vibe of the crowd, because the people who frequent here are friendly to each other is amazing. The DJs had a marquee in the garden and even though it was freezing cold, they played some decent tunes and drew people from the warmth and comfort of the pub. I'm looking forward to returning when it's properly throbbing!

The staff make this place. Always loved it, always will. Gigs and sports make it a must visit.

Best bands, best staff, best venue. Pool hall, great stage! Really friendly atmos, quite new to town, and they're so funny and welcoming!! Just such a great night, guaranteed. They cater for sports nights too, good mix of punters, never any trouble or bad atmos. Just tops!!!

Frog and Fiddle is always my favourite haunt in Cheltenham. Such a great atmosphere and a great amount of live music. All the staff are always lovely as well. The fact that you can bring in your own food is a plus too

This was a fantastic pub to visit, with a lively atmosphere and old school design! The counter is well-presented set in a squared area, staff were friendly and I enjoyed a pint of Apple & Blackcurrant cider at cosy seating.

It's been my regular for over 2 years now and it never disappoints, it's a must visit for a chill vibe in Cheltenham plus the pool tables are always a shout!

There is always a friendly greeting at the f&f. Service is great, choice of drinks is good. I leave it to the youngsters in the evening, my son tells me it is a great safe place to go

It is cheap enough to go for a few drinks but it is not the most inviting place. The fact that a no-name band asks for 12 quid for entry is ridiculous.

The venue part The pub is quite a good small gig space although not heated which can be an issue. The pub is pretty big with several separate areas and is quite busy with plenty of young people. The range of drinks is disappointing though, would be good to see more top quality craft beers rather than the mediocre national brands on offer

Great selection of drinks and at average prices, friendly bar staff, good outside seating area at the back, able to bring your own food, it's a winning combination.

Quick and friendly service at the bar, great music and atmosphere and the pool tables are in good condition as well, this place doesn't offer food but I reckon it would be good as well.

Great place for watching sport, atmosphere, and service great.

Frog and fiddle don't serve food, however allow you to take food in. The staff that work there are great! Really friendly and relaxed. The pool tables are a great feature and with so many there is normally one available. Sports are played on several TVs and they have a football table. Barn and second room open for hire, and they have an outside smoking area as well as tables. Really great energy from this place. Drinks are quite expensive but they have a special range of cocktails and shots as well as student discount on certain drinks

It took 8 minutes to get served a beer in an empty bar that had definitely blown. I looked for this place to watch Australia Georgia in the rugby only to find out they were dedicating ALL their screens to the football. Whoever suggested this is a great rugby pub needs an examination.

A great pub with lively atmosphere. Staff very friendly. They have a bring your own food policy and don't serve food themselves. The street the pubs in is lined with take aways so your spoiled for choice.

Gorgeous pub and wondeful staff. Came here with family after birthday plans went to pot and staff were so friendly, kind and generous. Also love to see a pub that supports the local metal music scene! Wish this was closer to where I live.

I was here last week helping the band Electrasy load in and load out their stage gear for their gig there. What a fabulous pub with absolutely immense staff. The staff and the manager were so welcoming and so helpful. The PA and sound engineer was spot on. The food policy is bring your own and there are plenty of places with 100 yards to purchase a takeaway. The clientele are so cool also and the whole pub has a real nice vibe. Thanks to you all x

Visited here last night to watch Electrasy, smashing live music venue and great friendly atmosphere. One thing with this venue that sticks out from others I have visited is that they have benches around the edge for not only seating but to stand on in the event of that rather tall person who is blocking your view (didn't actually happen last night but nice touch Frog and Fiddle)

Fantastic place. Very good selection of beer, wine and crazy cocktails. One of the best atmospheres in town. Definitely recommend.

3 stars because the toilets are pretty stinky and the outside space really needs some work! Bar staff v friendly on the flip side. And not their fault the pub is a bit grotty.

Visited as part of a group of girls celebrating a 60th bday. We booked to see some live music and generally had a great time at the venue. However what really stood out was how amazing the staff were. The security guard and venue manager were so accommodating when we were waiting for taxis outside. It was the end of our evening so we were all in good spirits but rather than get annoyed with us they were good fun and looked after us. True hospitality gems!

This place has not changed since 2008 and it's great!! Great teapot drinks selection, rustic and still got that charm! We went for Drag Wars, and omg it was soooooo good! Very much here for how its accepting Queer representation here. Made me want to come here even more than usual. Thank you for putting this on and im sure ill be back for another University reunion soon! Thanks frog and fidds!!

Great Pub, got plenty of pool tables upstairs and the drinks/shots are really well priced. Its our usual go to.

Excellent drag nights especially Cheddar Gorgeous and Chorizo May.

Great pub for students, I've spent a lot of time here starting my night out. The only downside is if you're going to play pool, do not expect anything but plywood for a cue. Has an outside area and has many performances all year round.

Legendary pub, cracking venue, friendly staff, bring your own food is a great shout for any pub that doesn't have a kitchen, proximity to some great takeaways also helps!

What to say about this pub... Not only are the staff welcoming, there is plenty of seating with a beer garden outside. They don't serve food but welcome you to bring your own which is handy with surrounding takeaways. I've recently noticed they have also had pop up food vans. The frog is also super dog friendly with a lady behind the bar bringing me my drink and a water bowl for my dog. The frog and fiddle also have local bands, drag shows and other events on too.

Great all round venue, they host some great band nights and club nights. In the day it's a quiet chilled bar with a bring your own food policy.

I really enjoy the venue however £10 to see the music per person is extremely expensive. The value of everything else is great tho. Good cocktails, good drinks. And you can bring your own food in. So all in all a great place to go for drinks.
