Very chill vibe on a Sunday night, laid back crowd and friendly staff. Highly recommendable if you looking for a Pint in the NQ!

Well what can I say .....I am man of advancing years and my friend and I were looking for a late bar in the Northern Quarter on a Monday night, we found this place and they kindly let us in ,it is a young pub ,vibrant and busy with youngsters the main clientele at this late hour , but we were ok had a couple and left the party at about 1.00am with no signs of closing, there are no frills it's rough and ready but I liked it !

Me and my friends had such a good time at the freemount !! There was a queue to get in but it went super quick and when we got in there was no queue at the bar as there was loads of bar staff. Solid 10/10 vibes with the music. The staff, specifically the security leah, Dave and Rick were so professional and lovely! They made it a safe and fun place for us all! Would definitely recommended to a friend!!!! Wear hats and wigs !

We visited this bar on a Thursday night, it’s a relatively small, dim light bar with limited seating - but plenty of standing room so get there early if you want a seat. The music begun around 10, there was a woman singing and she was very good. We had a great night and would definitely visit again.

Average Irish pub. Not very clean and with a smell of clothes that have been on the washing machine for way too long and now you need to put it again. Nice terrace inside though.

Lovely Northern Quarter pub, decent pint of Guiness and nice relaxed atmosphere (during the day at least 😁).

Very poor experience, David the “Bouncer” denied access to to our birthday group due to underlying psychological issues that resulted in a power trip without any backing down. Avoid at all costs.

Time for an update - dripping ceilings, lots of fruit flies, mould on the walls and weeds growing from the ceiling. Staff relatively unpleasant and plenty of other great options in Manchester to go to as an alternative!

Nice bar with good vibes even when it's quiet, service was a bit sad though. Bar was almost empty but took us 10 minutes to get served, staff on phones etc..

Live music and good atmosphere, but unfortunately far too busy on a Friday/Saturday night for the space. On the plus side, you're served quite quickly even when it's busy.

We were refused entry for being in “a group”. The same policy didn’t appear to apply to the group of straight men, women or groups who entered one by one. Pathetic.

Awesome bar day or night with a good selection of beers at reasonable prices. Nice little sun trap if you get outside at the right time!

Was pretty busy in here but not always a good thing. Music was pretty loud and they had a live band on which were ok. Didn't rate the beer quality too much but the decor was nice and the staff were helpful.

Great bar with live music. Can get really busy so if you want a table get in early. Staff are all friendly and no matter how busy it gets you still get fast service at the bar

Honestly an atrocious experience, went in for a single drink after work on the 30/03/2023. The hyper entitled regulars walk up, dump thier bags and say "this is my spot, you better watch my bags". I refuse so he knocks over our drinks and the bouncers walk him off and then come back to kick us out of the pub! I was even told I was too old to be in there, Im 35 having a pint before my train on a Thursday! The people who go there and work there are atrocious people.

They let way too many folk in on an evening and it’s difficult to stand or even queue at the bar. Service is very slow.

Brilliant place, went there on a Monday night and it was as busy and vibrant as a Friday or Saturday, loved it!

Good atmosphere and good bouncers (surprising for Manchester) with good live music. However, staff very rude and seem to take issue with anybody younger than ~23 in the bar. I understand target markets however, the rudeness and eventual kicking out for no reason was uncalled for. Very unprofessional and won’t be receiving my business again.

Nice vibe to the place and live act was good. The bloke on the bar makes you feel like it's an inconvenience for him asking for a drink. Bouncers lazy too.

Absolute dive with rude staff. Randomly came to the table I was sat at asking for me to swap to the seat next to me which was identical to the one I was sat. Took my seat away then brought it back a few mins later...no idea why but really poor.

Red headed bar tender is the absolute best so friendly , and helpful absolutely deserves a raise. The rest of the bar staff were okay but no where near as quick. Venue was nice but was my visit was absolutely made by the red headed bar tender. Xx

Good luck trying to watch World Cup matches in here. No sound, tv delays etc etc etc.. do not go there

Had a top night in Manchester in the bars and Christmas Markets. Plus in this venue but the staff failed to make me and my partner feel welcome. I tried to tip 1 member of staff £5 for serving me 2 rounds and in total I have spent over £150 on cocktails. I asked another member of staff to show her colleagues how to smile and her reply was we don't get paid enough to smile

Prachtige bar met goede live muziek. In 1 weekend 3 verschillende soorten muziek waardoor het totaal anders leek. Het personeel is ook zeer vriendelijk. Wij hebben er een top weekend gehad

Good looking venue, I wasn’t here when there was live music but I imagine the atmosphere would be good. I would rate it higher , however I found the barman to be rude and blunt when I asked for a suggestion of a whiskey with no queue behind me. I work minimum wage at a student bar and even I can find the time and effort to read through the bottles to the customers. Also I found it to be rather expensive (£20), especially considering I only ordered two average spirits and mixers.

I have been visiting this place almost every Sunday until the 2nd of October 2022. For some reason bouncers told me that I can't come in (some sort of policy, you can't be alone, you have to be with someone. What????). That was really weird to hear that because I have never caused any troubles, was not intoxicated or anything like that. On top of that, the place was not crowded at all. Dear management, you have lost a regular customer.

Pub affollato ed aperto fino a tardi, con musica dal vivo. Frequentato da giovani, con prezzi mediamente alti. L’unico cocktail che hanno è il gin tonic.

Great music, great energy inside! Just that, it's a little too stuffed at night. You enter and you get that stench of sweat from all the people dancing. Slightly unfriendly guards outside, but I guess they have to be like that. I still absolutely recommend it. I enjoyed in there.

Me and my beloved decided to finally have a day out ,so Manchester it was ,had a good walk around ( pub crawl ) ended in the freemount ( use to be the Kings) totally different now great selection of beers spirits etc was busy but served very quickly Definitely worth a visit ,,,,,they have a northern soul Sunday ( you'd have to check 9n their website ) all in great day cheers
