Very expensive for the Sunday roast. Two small, thin pieces of meat.

Considering how much we paid for 5 meals and a drink each, I have had better food at a wetherspoon public house, for a fraction of the price, when we got there, there was a couple arguing with each other, it was also draughty and not very warm were we were sat, I wouldn't go again. Sad to Say.

Now i don't expect much from a beefeater, but at least get the order right. Had to recall the waiter for every item they brought out and to only be told they couldn't do the ribs and chicken I ordered when the starters were brought out was little annoying. When asked if everything was OK at the end of the meal I replied 'not really' the guy just shrugged his shoulders and walked off

This Beefeater has really upped its game, had the Xmas menu and it's one of the best Christmas dinners I have had eating out. Would highly recommend from my experience

We had a meal there on Tuesday evening as my sister was staying there for two nights while visiting from Jersey . The staff were friendly enough but we had to wait an hour for our food and then at ten to ten they started to rush us telling us that they closed at ten o clock when it states on the website that they closed at eleven I think they just wanted to go home because it was a quiet Tuesday night

Place was grubby and cold and the food was horrible had a chicken burger that was so greasy I could eat hardly any of it

Having had a really bad experience at a Beefeater in Milton Keynes at the weekend we came here to a more local one instead to use our Black Friday voucher. I've never been to this one before, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was really nice. This is definitely a hundred times better than the rude Milton Keynes branch and I imagine we'll try it again sometime. The heating does appear to still be broken as mentioned in a previous review, but they have placed portable radiators around the place and it didn't seem too bad.

Went in The Beefeater tonight and there was no heating was told it was broke but there was no heating the week before which wasn't too bad as the temperature outside want close to freezing. So we all sat with our coats on. Even our 2 year old. There were only 3 staff on and the place was full. It was the last day of 50% off deal. The kitchen were spot on but the staff couldn't cope. Something needs to be addressed quickly. We have been going there for many years and have never seen it as bad. Felt sorry for the staff did a brilliant job in the circumstances.

The heating is not working. It has been like this for two weeks.

The breakfast was quite nice when it came, but the staff seem amazingly disorganised, very nice, but it's almost comedic how everything went wrong. The coffee machine wasn't working properly There was no hot water for tea There was no butter The orange juice has run out The breakfast took over half an hour to arrive There were items missing from the breakfast They took the missing items to the wrong table There were missing items from the missing items! Everything was dealt with, but it almost felt like a Fawlty Towers episode.

came in here last night for a 76th birthday meal for my auntie , and her friends . the building was freezing! bare in mind this was booked last week and we was not informed at any time that the boiler/ heating has gone and there would be no heating in the building. they should of rang us so we could seek alternative place to dine preferably one with heating! we all sat there with our coats on, even the staff was cold! food was okay staff was doing a fantastic job. not not acceptable when your spending £200+ so anyone looking to dine here wrap up warm, bring your hat scarf and gloves. and thermals! . How my auntie and her friends did not come out with hypothermia especially as they are elderly is just pure luck and good health! anyone who booked their Christmas dinner here - get your money back and go else where we was told they are not fixing the problem as it is too expensive, thank me later ... p.s wasn't just us sat there with out coats on was other diners too

Another good Beefeater by Premier Inn Heaton Park, Service is good but was slightly slow on the day I visited but it was very busy. Customer service is very good, the staff are friendly, we order Hallomi Fries for starters, main course was Fish & Chips & Grilled Vegetable Skewers. Dessert we went for Hot drink and a chocolate brownie. All very nice. Recommend!

It's a really dirty place with inexperienced staff. The breakfast was very greasy and not very well prepared. Most of all, they had a bunch of expired bread. The dishes were not clean at all, and they were all dirty. Dirty floor .

Restaurant had no atmosphere. Roast dinner was dissappinting as turkey was dry, veg was burnt and not worth the £15.99 I paid. Drinks were nice but service was slow. Staff had no idea how to do their job. Would not come back.

I used to be happy to use the beefeater when staying at the Premier inn next door. It has gone down. Hill in last few mths. No 1/2 chicken available , closed for breakfast. Communication poor, booked meal deal 10 - 14 days for refund. Will be looming elsewhere.

They ran out of the gluten free cheesecake but the staff were very helpful in making a 1 off pudding for her. Which was ice creme, with berries sauce .which I would add this to the menu

Went to heatenpark beefeater on Friday for our anniversary. The food was second to none cooked the way I asked perfect steak and the triple cooked chips were very tasty good service very attentive waitress very helpful in what was good and came back half way through our meal I couldn't fault the service lovely restaurant felt a good place to eat 😀. Very friendly staff and excellent service. The food was very good and a good selection to choose from.

Food was OK... Nothing spectacular. Ribs were bone dry. The poor young girl who was serving us at our table was not well trained. She looked like she had been thrown straight in the deep end and like a rabbit in headlights! The other young girl serving at the bar had a stinking attitude and is in the completely wrong job. I saw lots of other customers having problems with her too. Lots of locals at the venue, which is fine but it's quite intimidating for people staying in the hotel. I felt me and my family were given dirty looks for our southern accents! We didn't feel welcome at all. Lots of screaming children running around the bar and restaurant too. Quite a noisy venue and you can't just have a quiet meal! Toilets not very clean, loo roll all over the floor and toilet seats hanging off. No tablespoons provided at breakfast either. Half of the tables had them, the other half didn't. They were seating people for breakfast in the area where the cutlery was set out for dinner service. I can see why people just get takeaways delivered to their rooms after this experience. There doesn't seem to be any incentive for hotel guests to have a meal in the venue next door.

Good value food and plenty to choose from. Can't fault it!

First time in about 10 years I have been in no change really still looks tired and dated but that is my opinion others might think it's fantastic

I visit every Sunday with my daughter. We always feel welcomed and never feel rushed to get out after breakfast. And even when I'm alone. I try never to miss a Sunday breakfast.

I went to Beefeater for dinner along with one of my Daughters, we were seated straight away, however we had a wait of at least 20-30 mins before our drinks order was taken. When our starters arrived, they were both a very meagre portion, the mushrooms starter consisted of five mushrooms, which equates to just over £1 per mushroom! My starter of halloumi fries consisted of five -6 fries & they were not fresh at all. The main meals were fine. I have been in contact with Beefeater however as yet they have not responded to my feedback. 😞

The food was very nice it was hot and fresh the server Holly couldn't do enough to help and was very nice

We came for a family meal and the staff were friendly and we enjoyed the food. The only thing I would say was the ribs were very dry for baby back ribs and my mum didn’t quite like them but the steak and chicken burgers were fab.

My coeliac friend was given gluten containing sausages and black pudding and told it was gluten-free. It was a very rough night for them and there are longer term effects. We were given a refund by the Premier Inn where we were staying but this really shouldn't have happened.

Chunky chips cold, mushy peas parts hot other cold, fish red hot, but the batter hard, flies going on food, sorry but this is truth

The toilets leave a lot to be desired. Taps broken, soap dispensers broken, hand dryers cold, toilet seats broken. Door fittings missing fastening to the wall...... the money taken, can't understand why things can't be fixed!

Been many times, never disappoints on food spot on, The best burgers anywhere! Love the double stack which I had last night, husband had the gammon can highly recommend either, staff are pleasant friendly & helpful, will keep coming back again & again!!

Had such a good time whilst in the beefeater. Was only in for a couple of drinks and got served by the lovely demi who helped us and gave us fantastic service all night. She’s a credit to the company.

The food was good and drinks fine. Restaurant staff polite. What spoiled the experience was when we asked for condiments. We received paper sachets of salt and pepper and plastic sachets of vinegar and HP sauce! It felt like we were in a transport cafe. I noticed that a couple of tables had actual salt and pepper grinders and bottles of vinegar. When we left I noticed empty salt grinders by the till. Why not fill them up?

Went to the Heaton Park Beefeater last night and had a fabulous meal our server Matt showed us to our table that we had pre booked he was very helpful and friendly he took our drinks order which arrived promptly then took our food order we started with the cheesy potato dippers with bacon to share which were very nice we then ordered our mains my partner had the loaded chicken but asked for it without bbq sauce and I ordered the gammon steak we both really enjoyed our food that was cooked to perfection Matt was available at all times and very attentive and made our experience a great one thanks also to James behind the bar for great service a really great night was had

Review as off 4th August 2024, it was a lot better, only issue was one of the meals the veg was cold but there was no problems, apologized and got fresh hot one's. All staff polite and professional especially the female who served us. This is a update, on our latest visit, as there are only 2 of us never needed to pre-book and have always been seated, but on this occasion, first No One acknowledged us waiting at the door and eventually a lad came up and simply said "Fully Booked " it's not what was said but the way it was said. I know at the moment with staffing levels thing's can be hard but a little explanation we would have understood.We did notice that there were a few table's needed cleaning. I hope that when we try this place again thing's improve. Old Review This is a nice place for a meal with good food,there has been a refurbishment and all the staff are polite and professional, credit to the company,. Well worth a visit.

Very disappointed with the food. I ordered salmon but the vegetables were cold. I told the waitress and she said she would get me another portion and to be eating the rest of my meal while she ordered it. Unfortunately by the time the vegetables arrived I had almost finished my meal. It would have been nice to have eaten my meal with the vegetables instead of on a separate plate. All the waitress said when she brought the plate of vegetables was ..Oh you've nearly finished your meal and walked away. No apology what's so ever.

Recently visited the restaurant and had a great experience. The food was lovely, but what was most impressive was the attention of the manager Suzanna - who made sure we were ok. She is very attentive and caring with a fabulous bubbly personality, even checking to make sure we didn’t have any allergies. Thanks Suzanna for a memorable visit!

Had the mixed frill,bit pricey for what it was, and I would have preferred the eggs to be a bit less greasy, but overall, it was ok.

Shown to our table by happy, friendly staff. Food served quickly, hardly any wait time. Quite busy and nice atmosphere. No complaints here. I will definitely be back.

If you're driving , I would recommend trying any regular restaurant instead. I guarantee that the quality would be better. Self service breakfast is cold and the dishes are always empty. I was there 7AM and the service is already a disaster. Wouldn't recommend at all. ( to be clear the people who work here are wonderful but they don't have the opportunity or equipment to do the service properly. It seems like the policy of the restaurant prevents them from serving properly)

£4.99. For 2 prawns Sent them back. Won't be going again at those prices. It's a shame because everything else was OK

had a meal here for the family i ordred a rib eye that come out looking like a frying steak with a burnt mushroom the only thing on the plate that looked ok was the skinny fries i also orderd garlic prawns for 4.99 as an extra with the steak and i literally got two prawns it was a joke ill never go back to here again everyones meals in my family was just as bad too .

Full of drunks, food poor medium rare steak burnt to charcoaled. Long waits for food and drinks. Staff run off their feet. Not an inviting atmosphere women crying outside shouting and screaming at children. Restaurant too big with too few staff to cater. Will not be returning.

Only a 4 star as i think the tongs for all the food could be placed on a small oblong plate in front the foods. That way everyone that handles the tongs has not contaiminated the food with tongs placed back ontop the food. The disabled parking is a nightmare when you car cars parked in the disabled bays with NO Badge, ignorant, but no one will do anything about that and there is a sign up stating ( see pic ). Make an example and carry out this fine......

Food and service were great. Ripped me off big time however by tempting me in with an offer that didn't exist. Complained and still not had a response 5 days later.

Got the chicken and ribs combo. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Ribs were excellently flavoured.

Went here for breakfast last week bit disappointed that the breakfast wasn't freshly made.

Me and my daughter both had the steak eggs and chips from the lunchtime menu. The steak was a 4oz piece which was perfect for lunch. The lunch time mains are £8!!!! What a bargain!! Food was good.

Just come back from heaton park worst food I've ever had the chicken wings for starters raw in the middle after waiting a long time to get them in the first place took them back asked if I wanted more no dont think so I trusted and was paying for someone to cook it for me soon declined being poisoned I will wait for my main meal fillet steak not cheap so should be good noooo full of gristle for a fillet not on sent that back I got extra mushrooms for my main they kindly knocked of the price uncooked chicken and the mass gristle they said was fillet still charged for the mushrooms what a joke never again so be aware what you eat

I've grown up coming here. I have so many wonderful memories here at the Beefeater with family and friends. The food is gorgeous. The staff have always been friendly and attentive. Definitely come here, you will enjoy it. The Beefeater has a wide range of meals and drinks non/alcoholic and alcoholic.

Having used and using Premier Inns as my go to choice of hotels working away each each I’ve come to accept that I’m going to get a beefeater or equivalent, so have learnt not to expect al a carte style food. Having booked a meal deal with the room it is what it is. Walked in to the restaurant and greeted by a young girl at the podium and was told restaurant was fully booked, had she asked my name or room number then would have seen I had a table booked, subsequently I was seated in the bar area. Bar area full of loutish lads some of which I assumed worked there or still do ( one was serving at breakfast ) bar staff mostly young girls more interested in chatting and talking to them, quite often using foul language in an area where there was young children. Lads seemed to think they had the run of the place going behind the bar getting drinks, shouting and again more foul language in the bar area while shouting at the football on a full blast television, standing in the foyer smoking a-pose to the garden area as quests and myself were, subsequently the smell of cigarette smoke was present throughout the bar area. Upon ordering my evening meal, was told because I was on a meal deal I couldn’t have a Guinness, to which I pointed out I could but there was an additional charge and was told no, server then looked and didn’t apologies for the rudeness or mistake, same happened when I ordered my food, food came had to walk to the other side of the restaurant to obtain my own cutlery sauces and napkins as was no offer or even an inkling of receiving them, to which I noticed a staff member drinking a beer whilst working cooking food. Staff and what obviously seemed to be off duty staff were more interested in each other than the guests, talking about what they were doing after work, who’s getting the cannabis and beers. Total disregard for anyone else, rude and unprofessional, saw and heard many other guests show and express disappointment with there actions and service.

Mid afternoon Sunday lunch. Service is always excellent here, staff polite and attentive. On this occasion they forgot to ask how we were enjoying our meal a short period after we started eating (they usually do) and it wasn't that busy at this point. The restaurant is modern, generally clean and comfortable. Party of 3: Guest 1: I had a rack of ribs, BBQ sauce, fries and corn on the cob which I enjoyed. Ribs were OK, but could be more tender. Guest 2: had a regular roast dinner, chicken was ok, however the roast potatoes looked and tasted as though they had been cooked then re-cooked, very poor quality. Guest previously had half a roast chicken dinner here which they enjoyed so was very disappointed with this meal. Guest 3: Requested child's roast dinner as elderly with limited appetite. Chicken was grilled rather than roasted, so guest didn't like the taste and didn't eat it. The menu states Kids Roast Dinner with chicken breast and there was no footnote to say it would be grilled, which produces a different taste. Staff should therefore advise it will be grilled.

Reserved a table 6 PM. After 1h40min of waiting with 2 starving kids of 5 and 6 the waiter came to tell they would start cooking our food but they were out of chicken breast, we left. Toilets stink!

Booked for myself and husband for a meal to celebrate our 47th Wedding Annivetsary, the starters mains and bottle of chilled Rose Prosseco were great, my husband had Ice cream to finish I had apple pie and custard which was not nice apples very hard not evan Al dented just hard and pastry was soggy, it was taken off the bill, which was fine the waitress 10 out of 10 she was brilliant and very attentive, the atmosphere was not nice as the Chef was shouting very loudly at the staff not just once many times which ruined our time in there.

Went for Sunday lunch. The food was very good, don't spend the extra 99p on extra gravy.

I've been going to this restaurant for most of my life at this point, especially for special occasions and I couldn't recommend it enough. Wonderful food and service every time. 5 stars.

Title: Mother's Day Nightmare: A Catastrophic Dining Experience Our Mother's Day celebration at this restaurant can only be described as a complete disaster from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that we were in for a regrettable experience. To kick off our dismal evening, the staff provided only one set of menus for our entire table, completely neglecting to offer a drinks menu. When we attempted to order our beverages, they managed to bring the wrong drinks and conveniently forgot about my mum's order altogether. It was a baffling display of incompetence that set the tone for the rest of our meal. The calamity continued when our starters arrived. Out of the three ordered, only one was correct, and when we pointed out the error, the woman serving us had the audacity to suggest that we had somehow specified the wrong dish. I find it hard to believe that ordering simple king prawns could be misconstrued as a prawn salad. The lack of accountability and professionalism was astounding. Moving on to the main courses, the calamari was the sole highlight in an otherwise abysmal lineup. My prawns were not only half raw but also drowned in a barbecue sauce that tasted more like vinegar than anything else. The chicken goujons were hard and unappetizing, and the steaks were so overcooked that they resembled shoe leather. To add insult to injury, my girlfriend's order of peppercorn sauce was an afterthought, arriving almost at the end of her meal. The lack of attention to detail and the overall disregard for customer satisfaction left us in disbelief. As if the culinary catastrophe wasn't enough, the woman serving us displayed an unwarranted attitude, making the entire experience even more unpleasant. There was no reason for her altitude, and it only added to the overall sense of disappointment. In conclusion, this Mother's Day excursion was an unmitigated disaster. I would strongly advise anyone considering dining at this establishment to think twice and explore other options. This restaurant's lack of attention to detail, disregard for customer service, and overall incompetence make it a regrettable choice for any special occasion. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by dining elsewhere.

I have also done a review on Trip Advisor. I had booked for 9.45 am for Mother's Day breakfast. The restaurant was very busy, quite hectic but the staff dealt with it really well. They worked so hard to keep up with the high demand. There was plenty of choice of food and drinks. The coffee machine started to play up, but it was soon sorted. The plates are warm which is always good. I only have poached egg and they cook them on demand. Nothing is too much for them. Our table was cleared has we had finished with plates etc. 2 ladies that I did chat with were Cat and Suzanne (I think) I actually told them that they had worked so hard today, that they had all done so well with the busy, demanding time in the restaurant.

I had prebooked a table for 4 of us. When we arrived I told the management that I had a table booked for 16.30pm and was told I hadn't as I shown her my booking reference she promptly told me her words you can show me until the cow's come home but unless you want to eat stood up if there is no table that is it she did however get us a table but the attitude had spoilt our day. I then ordered a desert ice cream sundae however that is not what I got it was just ice cream in a dish. Oh dear not very good at all.

One of the worst places that I have been. First they brought the wrong drinks, then brought the driest steak with cold chips, had to wait 10 mins for the sauce. They brought the wrong food for my friend! Rubber king prawns Crusty dry spaghetti bolognaise for my son! Vinager barbecue sauce, absolutely disgusting! Never again.

Went for a birthday I had the roast it was unedible soggy roast potatoes carrots rock hard chicken very dry the service was extreamly slow.. plates left on our table between courses had to ask someone to collect them not one person asked if the food was OK then they would find out that it clearly wasn't satisfactory this is properly the worst meal I have had I really don't consider myself fussy will never go here again

wonderful eatery, friendly,welcoming staff. We had a party of 15 last night and nothing was too much. The food was amazing my medium steak was cooked perfect, all 15 plates were empty. We come here most Sundays for breakfast and picked this place for our meal with family visiting from Denmark as we knew we wouldnt be disappointed. Everything was wonderful all thanks to the amazing staff. Thank you all so much for letting us have our special occasion with yourselves you made our evening.

Came here tonight for the first time. We were looked after by Brandon who despite it being busy was amazing! Friendly, attentive and professional. Steak was cooked perfectly. Chargrilled vegetable skewer, salad and chips was lovely. Big portions. Great value for money

Our waitress Holly at the beefeater heaton Park restaurant was very welcoming and made sure our drinks were sorted first and food was ordered to our specifications, as our children were particular. The food was very well cooked, and arrived promptly. The automated booking service was easy to use. Recommend highly and will visit again.

Party of 12 came out for food for my dad’s 50th. Food was lovely and Abbie who took care of us was great, extremely polite and friendly when continuing to check on us.

Arrived for a large party of about 44 people. 1 member of staff was outstanding. Can't remember his name, the women serving for some reason were slight peeved we wanted drinks and food.

I went for a quiet pint, alone. The Worthingtons is very nice. I'd just say that this is more of an eating place. The area made available for drinkers is very small.
