The Didsbury Pub in Manchester

Had a lovely time at the didsbury pup on Sunday night. Charlie was great and we had a very relaxing evening.

Really nice food and really good service from Charlie, he was extremely friendly and helpful!

We came here for the first time on a Sunday and were lucky enough to have an amazing waiter named Charlie. We got our food really quickly and had great customer service. 5/5 would come again.

My first proper visit to The Didsbury, for food + extended good times, and it truly did not disappoint. Staff were great and attentive, particularly Charlie + Niamh who were super lovely, and Lydia who went above + beyond for me + the group I was with, finding us a table during a super busy period on a Sunday, and being an all round diamond to ensure we had the best possible experience. Food was hearty + delicious - just what I needed on a hangover ! The sharing baked Camembert was so good (came with unique pickles + garlic butter for the bread), and so was the pork roast, which was the ideal size portion for me and came with extra gravy when I asked for it - winner winner chicken (pork) dinner ! I’ll deffo be back :)

Our server, Charlie was very helpful, attentive and friendly, we would highly recommend a trip to sample the steak and ale pie!

Food was lovely although I ordered a vegetarian toad in the hole and out came a meat dish !! Shocking mistake !! Staff where very apologetic for the mistake and couldn't do enough for us after that. The waiter who took our order didn't write the order down so in future that is something possibly worth doing to make sure mistakes like this don't happen again. Overall nice food and place and would visit again .

We visited on the 3rd November for a family afternoon meal. We were greeted upon arrival and shown to our table. The service was excellent and the food was delicious, with lots of choice especially in terms of veggie options. We will be back!

The pub was warm and cosy and despite being busy with the didsbury Halloween pub crawl safe were polite and helpful. It was Cameron's first shift on the floor and he really made an effort to ensure our visit was a great one. Food was lovely and great atmosphere.

Weve been coming to The Didsbury regularly for a few months now. We love the food especially the Rump Steak. Steven has served us a few times and he is so helpful and kind to my ageing Mother,he really enhances the experience.Thank you.

Lovely establishment in Didsbury. The food and atmosphere are great and only beaten by the service you receive. Mia is one of the many staff there who provide great service and hospitality.

After walking on Fletcher Moss, we called at The Didsbury for lunch. Although we hadn't booked and it was very busy they managed to fit us in. Our waiter Cameron was very good. He provided great service. We chose food off the lunch menu, we had Scampi and chips and Cheese toasties. Both were cooked well and very tasty.

Was welcomed with a smile, was provided with the chefs special menu lots of choice to choice from and Steven was able to expain the menu choices to help us decided. Felt well looked after and The Didsbury it is a beautiful restaurant food was well presented and filling, love the fire place and features too. Look forward to visiting again would highly recommend

Thank you so much for your fantastic service yesterday. The sausage and mash with gravy after a 3 hour walk was just the ticket. It's just such a beautiful pub/restaurant. Proper fire place too.

Steven was an excellent waiter who was attentive and looked after us throughout the whole of our time at the pub. Staff are super friendly and couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Our server at Didsbury was Steven. He was friendly, professional and excellent in explaining our questions about the menu. Nothing was too much for him. Great service is as important as the food. We will certainly return to The Didsbury.

My first time visiting the didsbury for a roast followed by a pint. Nice quiet comfy atmosphere, perfect to bring a laptop n do some work! My waitress Lydia was really lovely, accommodating and was a great help in suggesting the best veggie options on the menu. Would defo go again!

No better option when it comes to outside seating in Didsbury.

Lovely bar & restaurant, outside seating. We had lunch with our family. Great menu, we enjoyed the pan fried chicken with roast potatoes, sausage and mashed potatoes with delicious gravy. Go for a walk round Feltcher moss & Sale Waterpark afterwards.

Steven served us this lunchtime and was great. Very friendly. I hope you win the night out.

Mum and I have lunch at The Didsbury every month and it’s always a great experience. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. We were served by Grace today and she was great.

A great pub with a lovely authentic vibe. The staff were very polite and accommodating considering we were quite an awkward table with an extra person, a late attendance, a vegan and an allergy order 😅 The team were great and catered very tasty food!!

We went to The Didsbury yesterday for a special occasion for a work colleague and friend and were looked after by Steven who was absolutely brilliant!! Nothing was too much trouble and the food and service was fantastic! Many thanks to the whole team at The Didsbury

Good spacious seating, inside and out. Plenty of car parking spaces. Wide selection of beers and the food menu is not bad either

Just had lunch there. Ordered vegetable tart with roast potatoes. The potatoes were burnt with soggy oily brown skins no crispness whatsoever. The supposedly crumbly’ pastry of the seasonal vegetable tart was a soggy doughy texture. The filling was peas and a couple of minute carrot cubes. Like you’d get in a mixed frozen veg pack. Horrible.

There's hardly any service to rate, but I do like this place! Would recommend 100%

Four of us had a great meal at the Didsbury yesterday evening. The food, wine and service was excellent. Value for money for such nice food and served by Tom & Nancy who were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be going back

Great location and beer garden…however service and policy extremely lacking! Tills that are slow to work, large queues at the bar even when the pub isn’t particularly busy (Thurs aft). And the only outdoor space in the sun, you can’t order food to, other than v limited bar snacks. “Through the arch” may have advantages at the weekend but customer experience for the rest of the week is poor, making you sit outside in the shade if you’d like something to eat…although this policy isn’t applied to everyone…just depends who serves you at the bar I guess! The chicken &bacon and steak sandwiches were great though..and the Guinness very good!

Myself and my wife decided to go for lunch as it was nice sunny day, and sat outside. Had some very nice fish and chips. Right from the start , from ordering drinks/food , to going home, had some amazing customer service from the staff, especially Tom, after my wife asked for empty bottles. After explaining what she wanted them for, Tom was extremely accommodating and helpful going out of his way to make her a very happy customer!

As much as I love The Didsbury pub, they get too busy to offer decent service. Tables aren't clean, glasses left behind everywhere but I still come here time after time because of the atmosphere and the cosy feel of this lovely pub. Having completed my daily required walk, a little break is a welcome I deserve. With a small pint to help ))

After queuing 30 min to get drinks and food , we wanted to order some kids food and we couldn't because we weren't seated in the correct place in the garden, even that we order some tapas. No exception for a kid. Disappointed

Nice place but watch out if you use their car park since you need to enter your details into a machine or get charged £100

Came in today with my group of friends for a lovely sunny day in Manchester! Chloe worked so hard with clearing the glasses and making sure the garden was clean. She helped me as I changed table which I ordered food too. The food came minutes later. Staff are amazing, attentive and keeping on top of a busy Saturday shift well done to them! Bex served us, so friendly, amazing atmosphere, the drinks are well made and definitely priced reasonably. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Lovely pint in the sun! But of a que at the bar but that to be expected at the best beer garden in the area.

OUTSIDE BAR IS A BREEZE. such a good addition. Literally no queue on a mega sunny day too - Chris served me 5star experience innit.
