Lovely place to eat and go for a drink, always clean and tidy, fab service and food great, we are lucky to have as our local. Maisie served us on Friday and she was great - 5 stars ⭐️

Nice for drinks but we didn't have a great experience with the Sunday roast. We all ordered a different one from the menu and everything we got was bland and dry and the gravy was really thick and not tasty which is not how it's supposed to be! I'm pretty sure a mushroom wellington is actually supposed to have mushroom in it which seems to be missing complete and all you could taste was the horrible gravy inside the pastry with no mushrooms in sight. Would think twice about eating here again although it seems like a nice spot for a few drinks and they are dog friendly.

We had lunch at The Didsbury and spent a lovely hour there. Our server was Steven and the service was great. Would recommend.

Went to the Didsbury on 03/03/2025 wasn’t mad busy but quite a few people in we had booked a table sat down waited ages to order again waited ages for the starter to arrive at the table . We then had a long wait for mains after that we were going to order sweets and coffee but the server forgot to come back to us with sweet menu carried on serving other customers. Food is great love the place but let down by the service.

Steven, the host we had went above and beyond in looking after us. The food was lovely, really cozy inside and good music.

We had a lovely time at the Didsbury this afternoon. The food was absolutely lovely and all staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our server Steven, was excellent and very attentive. We’re already planning our next visit!

Got to The Didsbury 10 minutes early to be told that they had forgotten to reserve our table, finally got seated and ordered the Sunday Trio, meal came and looked very poor compared to eating there previously, gravy was too thick to poor and veg was sparse, beef was advertised as pink but was overcooked and so was the turkey, very dry and didn’t get any mash or roast potatoes with the Sunday dinner so queried this to be told the dinner should have had some included, the dinner wasn’t very hot and very poor value. Tbf the staff looked run off their feet and was very polite.

What a fantastic way to spend a Sunday evening! Delicious roast, nice that it's served later as well. Not just lunch hours. Our server Cameron :) was a star. Been before and we'll definitely be coming again. Yummy yummy in my tummy

Excellent service and excellent food. Charlie did a great job and nothing was too much trouble. The lunchtime 2 course offer was very good value and very tasty. All washed down with a bottle of Pinot.

Had a meal there with family on Saturday afternoon, the place was really busy but this did not affect the food which was amazing. We were served by a young woman (unfortunately I didn't get her name) who was only in her second shift, she was really friendly and welcoming and will be a credit to the pub. We will definitely be returning in the future.

When walking in on a chilly Sunday afternoon you could feel the warmth stepping foot in this vibrant pub which was full of character. The service from our waitress Shannon was a delight; highly recommend the establishment for anyone wanting a lovely roast on a Sunday. Would also like to highlight the kitchen staff for their attentiveness, as we had ordered a lot of food amongst ourselves!

Visited for tea with friends on Thursday. We had the lamb shank shepherds pie, battered hake and chips and a steak and kidney pie. All very high quality for a reasonable price. Staff were amazing especially Ellie.

Had a lovely Sunday dinner at the didsbury for my Mum’s birthday Our server Cameron was excellent, very attentive and friendly 2 people had the rib of beef which was excellent, only criticism would be very small amount of gravy (more was brought over when asked) and not much veg (only cabbage and carrot and swede mash - can pay for extra veg sides but for £18 would expect more to be included as standard) Overall, we all had a lovely meal!

Went for Sunday lunch from start to finish the service was excellent our waitress Sophie was very pleasant and professional and laughed and joked with us which made our first visit a pleasure we will be back and would recommend this fine establishment to anyone thanks again Sophie 😆

I used to use the Didsbury fairly often for business lunch/coffee etc Just been sent a £60 parking fine??? I've got enough to do without messing around with Euro car parks when I'm a paying patron. I'll go elsewhere from now on, good luck making it even more difficult for your business in this market. Stupid

Outstanding Service from Maisie! I had the pleasure of dining at the didsbury recently, and I must say, the experience was made exceptional by our server, Maisie. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel genuinely welcome. Maisie was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our drinks were always topped up and checking in at just the right moments. She had excellent knowledge of the menu, offering great recommendations that turned out to be spot-on. Her friendly and professional attitude made the entire meal even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond to make sure guests have a fantastic experience, but Maisie did just that. She truly made our evening special, and I will definitely be returning because of the outstanding service. Highly recommend asking for Maisie if you visit—she’s a star!

Great pub, with a lovely warm fire at the back. Charlie was at great assistance to us, good laugh and serving with some humor

Tried ordering their sirloin steak and there was none. Settled for burgers instead and they were dreadful. Overcooked and hard meat patty, dry cubes of rib meat rather than shredded, dry buns and not much else to talk about. No service to comment on? We got completely forgotten over in the corner. An unfortunate mistake on our one night in Didsbury.

The Didsbury has one of the best ‘children’s menus’ around. Additionally, We had a lovely meal, as a family. We were well looked after by Steven and our two young children were well catered for.

Myself and my husband had a lovely evening on New Year's eve. We went for food and wasn't disappointed. The lamb shank shepherds pie was lovely, very tasty according to my husband. I went for the steak and ale pie which is always a good choice. Service was great as usual and staff are always helpful too. Thank you for a great evening
