Stopped off for post hockey 'tea' and we're treated to great pizza and fries. Based on this I would definitely go back to choose from the menu.

Visited on a Saturday night a few weeks ago. The place was very lively but the atmosphere was good and didn't feel like it was full of the wrong crowd. Service at the bar was relatively quick and there's a large outside area where there's a live DJ set. We didn't realise before coming that they had a barbecue smokehouse set up at the pub we ate prior to coming and it's a shame we didn't get to try this.

Great chef and, great owner. Best music playlist and super friendly stafd. Good atmosphere, good beers, food. Nothing more needed in life.

A chilled place with a nice fire away from the cold wind outside. Later on this place gets quite cooking, with music and grooving.

Over £15 for a glass of wine (large) and a pint of lager. Probably the most expensive pub in Market Harborough and not particularly nice.

Nice atmospheric pub, great garden. But the staff act like they don't want to be there and the prices are random. Bought Pimms in our rounds, the first was £5, the next was £8+. 2 half pints was £8.50.

Great festive drink in trendy bar which is full of character. Good selection of wines and beers. Must visit when visiting Market Harborough.

Off putting and cringey security. Security guard of this place tries to embarrass customers because he’s out of shape and not achieved anything in life. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t go again.

I ordered a ‘ham It up’ pizza with my coke One bite of the pizza showed it was tepid at best I told the server it wasn’t hot and he took it away He then came back and said it was hot, and went away after i insisted it wasn’t. Then a female, whose name I believe was Rebecca, came over and said it was hot and again I insisted it wasn’t. Having been told I was wrong twice upset me very much and I raised my voice - not shouting or swearing I felt Rebecca was being rude and didn’t care about me as a customer - I’m not sure she realised that I, as a customer, paid her wages! I asked for my money back - which I understand that Rebecca didn’t wish to return my money or give me another pizza as they told another customer (who had previously worked there and knew Rebecca) who advised me of what Rebecca had said. She hadn’t got the decency to tell me personally. Having waited a long time for some action, the friend I was went and quietly discussed the situation and eventually returned with my money The experience was unedifying and very upsetting The customer service was appalling and I will positively recommending people to avoid this place

Great service, nice and chilled on a Monday night. Used to come regularly but then moved away from the area so was nice to visit again and see things are still great!

Haven't been here for a while, but still a decent pub that also does bar food if required, without stopping those just wanting a drink. Modern decor, and a large outside seating area for those warmer nights! Car park by the side for those driving.

Very special indeed. Attracts a young crowd so I was quite out of place. Fantastic band - The Smarties. Really spacious and well done outside - so, again, not much good in November. I couldn't help noticing that they didn't have any Real Beer which I trust is a temporary situation not a management decision.

Expensive & dark step. Pint of orange squash & Jack Daniels & coke £10.60!!!!!!! I can buy a bottle of JD. for £18.00. Then to the right of the bar is a step down which isn’t illuminated or noticeable … dangerous! Possibly won’t be rushing back here!

Always have a good experience here, food is fresh and delicious. My only negative is the music gets so much louder into the evening so you're shouting at your companion.

Great impromptu lunch. Food was Fab! Definitely recommend.

Quick service, great Stella Artois. They had some sort of musical event going on outside. Everyone liked to be having loads of fun.

We had our wedding reception here. Could not have asked for a better day or service. All staff were lovely as always and helped make our special day even more special!

Didn't stay as so busy, queue was out of the door and tables were dirty, glasses hadn't been collected and all I could smell was strong cigarettes. Not enough parking spaces either.

Great place to go absolute wicked garden

A pleasant surprise when popping in before we go to the train station, didn't look much from the outside but was really smart inside, the entrance is on the left side and went yo bar and ordered, it looks fantastic and the barmaid was great and chatty, sat on a couch by the window and what a couch, it was so comfy:) we didn't want to get up, had a big tv screen opposite us and watched the end of Pakistan v new Zealand 20-20, left after a great time.

Great pub always seems to be a really good atmosphere in there. Never feel threatened like some of the pubs in Harborough maybe thats me getting old. The food is good too.

Drink spiking a problem. Be very, very careful if female and visiting this pub, don’t leave your drink unattended.

Over priced !!! No toilet seat let alone a lid in the ladies toilets!!!! Extremely low lighting in the toilet so don’t drop anything!!! Never will return and would advice others not to

Waited for 20 minutes to get to the bar and then when I eventually did they didn't have most of the drinks I asked fo,r so ended up paying £5 for a Guinness.

Great beer, superb service. However, on a Saturday trying to hold a conversation outside with friends was nie on impossible with the music so loud. Next time we shall pick a weekday. It wouldn't put me off going back, just not on a Saturday evening

After having not been here for a few months I’ve been back twice in the last couple of weeks. It’s a nice place to sit, that’s the best of it. Firstly, food, my Wife is vegetarian and we came for lunch and ordered the veggie burger (£1 cheaper than their other burgers), what was delivered was the cheapest supermarket veggie burger money can buy in a bun with no sauce. Not great for £12.50 On to the beer, I’m a beer geek, I saw some exciting cans in their fridge from burning sky and Pollys. The beer from burning sky tasted old, hops had faded and they probably shouldn’t have been selling them. Pollys can had clearly been stored incorrectly, overly carbonated and vegetal smelling. Tried a beer on tap and all I can say is they need to clean their lines out! Disappointing overall, could so easily be better. I’ll stick to the beerhouse over the road.

Not good experience, only burgers on menu, Cajun one was bad, felt bloated and sick after having it yesterday at lunch.

Have drunk here a couple of times over the past couple of months as it has a huge sunny beer garden and reasonably priced drinks. On both occasions been a nice buzz about the place (nothing worse than drinking in an empty pub). Carpark is very small, but fortunately on both occasions we arrived on foot.

On a Thursday afternoon walkabout we popped in for drinks. Our first visit. It's a large pub with car park. More modern than expected with several seating areas. We were the only customers at the time so felt a little souless but it was a nice visit.

Went to the Freemasons Arms as I was in Market Harborough for a wedding, a very welcoming pub with friendly bar staff.

Birthday ruined! Booked a table for my birthday meal for 10 people and travelled because of a good review from my friend. However when we arrived they had our booking but no table suitable for 10 people. We were told to sit down and menus will be brought over for us. We then all brought a drink rearranged the furniture and sat down to be told that the kitchen wasn’t operating (I found this extremely bad since they had taken my phone number at the time of booking so had the opportunity to contact me before hand.) So we were sent to the sister pub. Which didn’t have any food suitable for vegetarian children. The whole thing was a disaster and I was very disappointed. I wouldn’t usually write a bad review but to have not even received an apology after complaining. Waste of money buying a drink, waste of fuel travelling there and waste of time!!

Myself and 4 friends from work had booked a table tonight for 5.30pm. We were shown to our table and were shocked to see that they had planned on seating us at what looked like a toddlers table that we definitely wouldn’t be able to sit around and eat a nice meal together and have a chat. Once we made a point of this, we were shown to a different table which was more suitable (after the waiter shrugged his shoulders at us). Prior to our visit, we had looked at the menu on their Facebook page and online which was different to the menu inside which was disappointing and misleading. One of our friends also does not drink alcohol and the menu online stated they had various non alcoholic beers but sadly there was in fact only one. When our food came we had to send it back as it was stone cold. After about 5 minutes the food was returned and was not any warmer. The waitress came over, asked if everything was OK to which I shrugged my shoulders and before I could say anything more (as I was eating at the time) she walked away. Poor service in general and overpriced food. When paying that much for a burger you expect a lot more. Wouldn’t recommend if you want a nice meal.

Collected order (as delivery was not working on deliveroo app) and realised when i got home that an item was missing and i had also been overcharged. Tried to call but no answer that evening. Called every day for the next 3 days being told the manager would call me back which he didn’t. Finally got through to him on Tuesday to be told a fries were not missing but there were two portions together in a box (maybe to feed a small child) and we had been overcharged by a patronising “only £3.50”. Granted it’s a not a lot but it was the principle and poor customer service that made it feel like more. Offered a voucher but not sure it’s worth even collecting as won’t be ordering from here again. Food was ok but not worth what we were charged even without the overcharge. Prices are similar to what we have paid for good burger and decent portion of chips in central London - £38 for two burgers and 2 (or apparently 3) fries including overcharge.

Nice venue and tasty food. Not many sitting places inside the pub.

Visited one evening with a friend. Venue has a really warm atmosphere, lots going on. Met with a very warm welcome, at the moment it's only table service but the staff are very attentive. Preferred a snack to share. Tasty and quickly served.

I liked this pub, it’s got a good drinks selection , modern interior, live music, space to sit inside or out under cover. I was disappointed with my last experience though and I wonder whether it is a permanent or temporary thing - the food menu was very limited and the food wasn’t great. I had the pork belly, along with another friend at the table, both had a huge layer of unrendered fat and wasn’t seasoned in the slightest. I left most of my food. I know the owner will probably ask why i didn’t send it back but we had waited a long time for the food to come. We had to ask someone twice to even take the order, it was over 30 minutes before the beers came. My husbands steak tasted better but wasn’t a big plate by any means. I loved the pizzas you have done in the past so we were disappointed. The small fruit flies inside the pub suggested the bar needs a good clean too.

We had a great afternoon at the Freemasons this week, we sat outside on the decking which was fantastic - with enough room for most large groups on each table (We had 9 of us on this visit). The staff were excellent all day - engaging, funny, polite and most importantly; prompt and constantly checking and cleaning our table. We didn't struggle to get a drink once, infact they came over so much that we probably ordered more than we needed at times, which is a great tactic to keep the drinks flowing. Not that we were complaining of course. The only gripe was that the beer is on the expensive side at times, though the quality of the venue is relative to the prices - I don't mind a slightly higher price when the pub is as good as this. I would recommend the Freemasons Arms to anyone wanting somewhere relaxed to drink and catch up with friends.

Food is good but the majority of staff is not waring masks which is why we are not going back until pandemic is over. Market Harborough has also twice the national average of covid cases

We booked a table for 1.30pm on Saturday. The Service was excellent and the girls serving us were really attentive. We drank cocktails ate lunch and continued to 6 when we ordered more food and more cocktails. Ten mins after recieving our order we were told we had 10 mins to drink up and leave as the table was booked for another customer. Up until this point we were unaware there was a time limit. This was despite other tables being empty. My annoyance is not at them requiring the table. It was the way things were managed. Having had our custom, (we intended to order more cocktails) we were told bruskley we had to leave., despite not being told we had the table for a set period. It would have been nice to have been offered a table apologisedthey needed to move us, offered help to move etc. It was only whenwe went back and asked if it was possible for us to have another table, did they say oh have that table (picnic table by the entrance). A downer to a lovely day!

I love coming to this place when im visiting market harborough its got a very cool vibe and the owners are always making improvements to the bars and beer gardens plus the drinks selection is excellent

Miserable staff. Half of the staff just say “I don’t take orders” and don’t get anyone else to come over. After waiting 45mins one waiter just stood at our table without saying anything, and we had to ask him if he was taking our order. Then when they bring the drinks they don’t say anything.

Great seating outside, music is great level. Fantastic cocktails.

Really nice lunch, Although there are only bagels on the menu, they are the best bagels I’ve ever had! Would recommend the chicken bagel! also with vegan options I believe. Also dog friendly :)

Lovely evening in the large undercover area. Felt like being abroad (except for the good old British weather) quite sheltered so wasn’t to cold. Service was very attentive and really friendly and helpful. Lovely good quality glass of wine. Although the food menu is limited at the moment due to the current situation the burgers were lovely really tasty. This is a really lovely place to spend an evening and will do lunch next time as my friend recommends the bagels that they serve then. They have clearly worked very hard and invested in the pub in these uncertain times and have done an amazing job. Definitely a great place to spend time x
