Costa Coffee in Harborough

Only had a piece of cake each and 2 hot chocolate drinks but it was nice to be able to chat with a few members of staff

Very small shop, very busy, found a clean table but chair was covered in food, my order almost got missed as till operator didn't pass it on to barista, I had to say something.

As it was a busy Costa, tables were left with trays with cups and nowhere to move them to. The staff need to work on removing these so customers can sit at a clean table. Plenty of seats, all taken up of course some by people reading books, but this is a coffee place (really libraries would benefit doing this) We were able to sit and enjoy our beverages and cookie so cant grumble with that. Pricing 'costa' alot lol but was a nice treat.

Extremely noisy making conversation difficult. Also people with laptops and notebooks, appearing to be holding a business meeting does nothing to help the ambience. There are better cafés in the town.

Coffee is good, staff are busy but very good and professional.

Customer service is very poor indeed The manager is incompetent. They get the drink order wrong.

I was desperate for the toilet, yet I had to wait in line, order and get the toilet code from the receipt.

Had coffee in plastic cup rather than a glass due to staffing issues. Some staff offish due to being rushed off there feet.

The cold drinks are amazing during the current heatwave!! Ordered click & collect, and it was ready in only a few minutes!

I came on a Thursday for a drink- couldnt have tasted better. It was quite quiet although it was a bit busy. Service was great. Staff was friendly and recieved drink quickly. Would definitely recommend.

My tea was ok but a bit expensive. They had soya milk so I was pleased about that! Nice atmosphere. Imagine it could get noisy.

Normally friendly but the team has changed faces a lot and the customer service seems to not be the same

I visit regularly and you can tell the staff really care and have established themselves as part of the community. Probably the best Costa coffee I know of locally

Not enough staff or equipment to ensure decent service. Staff were friendly and apologetic, I felt sorry for them. Drinks and food were good. The place could do with a face lift, it is basic, boring and beige. I would suggest some decent background music and a reshuffle of the seating areas, you have to squeeze past the queue to exit, not sure you would get a wheelchair or a buggy in. Parking in Lutterworth is ridiculous, £1 per hour, no wonder village centres are becoming derelict, you could park for free at the local supermarkets if you don't mind a 5 minute walk.

A well executed standard coffee shop, with a nice little terrace area for smokers or outside dining enthusiast like me. I was particularly attracted to the terrace by a fellow coffee drinker who was very easy on the eye 😉

Staff here is super nice and friendly and very professional even during busy hours. They create great experience for the customers.

Couldn't make us toasted sandwiches / paninis because "we've turned our ovens off" 🤔 a poor excuse! If you're open, you're open. If there are paninis in the fridge, you should be able to heat them up. Easily the worst Costa I've ever visited.

Coffee a little expensive but the restaurant is well laid out and comfortable. If you need the loos you'll need the code from your receipt so don't lose it.

Clean, and we'll tended, the staff were friendly but the surroundings dull and smoke from a smoking area was leaking into the main cafe.

I absolutely love this place.. I live locally and my caffeine fix is nothing short of an epic standup comedy event every time I walk in..The staff are utterly brilliant, they work long hours but always manage to put a smile on peoples faces. They have been rocklike as a team during the pandemic, and definitely deserve an award for maintenance of public spirit during that very difficult time.. This isn’t just a coffee shop, this Costa Team are actually Public Heroes as well….

Good coffee shop, great service from some of the staff especially Jo and Jo, it's like a comedy act when they work together but it's just what you need on a wet Monday morning. Shop seems clean and the food selection seems to have a better variety of late.

Usual Costa ... Again although nice service a little slow... Seems to be the way at Costa as visited a few and always the same . Coffee however was ok

Couldn’t taste coffee like watery milk and I paid almost £3 …no coffee art either again ! Yet you can go to the coffee counter Leicester pay £2.50 for a superb coffee with amazing art and friendly chatty people! Only plus is the only chap in Lutterworth costa is absolutely lovely makes it nice with a smile always and does art but no others bother or with a smile and chances of getting him are pot luck sadly !!

Costa Lutterworth. Tea and toasted teacakes. Quiet for a Costa but teacakes back on menu as recent visits to various Costa had revealed a dearth of said item Quick pleasant service.

Went in with my daughter and told because I would be paying for both of us only one of us permitted to enter - not even allowed to see what food available. No discussion - asked to leave. We could have stood separately - she could have ordered and paid using my card and then passed it to me to pay for mine - but no - I was paying for both so only one of us allowed in, no discussion! I gave my daughter my card and I left. No sale! Meanwhile 2 children allowed in together no masks allowed to pay together! Won't be going back!

Excellent experience as you step inside the door they have an automatic hand sanitizer, the first retailer I have been in where you don't have to touch the dispenser and a very well set out one way system friendly staff and great to have a proper Costa coffee albeit a take away. This a nice Costa store. Great coffee and food choices. A comfortable environment. It has also got a dog friendly covered area.

A tad on the expensive side, now that the sizes of the coffees have shrunk.

Reasonable coffee although as I have no clue about all the names and types so I do find it a little patronising when a 'barista' gives me that 'look' when I ask for a 'normal' coffee. Give me a break, I have to wade through 34 chavs outside in your seating area, all nursing 2 hour old mochachinolattelonguefrappealidocious trying to look middle class. It's a coffee, milk and two sugars ta.

Went into Costa Lutterworth to meet a fiend, staff were very friendly and professional Coffee and Mince Pies were amazing.

I don’t often go to costa but went with a friend and our children on the evening of the light switch on. The young girl took my order and handed me a receipt which I put in my purse. Stood waiting for my drinks for a while and suddenly realised the girl should have put the order on the side to be completed not to me. The manager was rude and said “ well we can’t do your order if it’s in your purse madam” - in my eyes this is a customer service fault as the girl behind the till should know what to do not expect me to correct her. When I pointed this out the manager said “ it’s not our fault and it’s not your fault”. Seriously it was your fault, and was quite embarrassing to be spoken to like that in front of a whole shop of people. Costa I think you need to train your staff how to do their jobs and your manager needs work on his customer service skills!!

Average Costa's. Nothing special.

It's OK! The service is friendly but the quality is haphazard. You place your order and they heat the milk then they start on the next order, the milk is then cooling down when they remember to filter the coffee. Please just concentrate on one order at a time and become more efficient. Also if I pay for the large drink then I want a large drink not a short measure! Love this brand of coffee but not this cafe

Costa are losing it. They need to upgrade their outlets. Tim Hortons is coming to get you.

Got to love a coffee shop that remembers how you like your drink. Always clean, always welcoming. I wish they stayed open later but overall a fine establishment
