Very friendly staff lovely food

We came from Kidderminster for my sister's birthday meal and the food was amazing the staff was incredible. I think we may venture over to you guys more for a carvery as nothing as nice as what you guys served in Kidderminster

I had a carvery delivery and I could not fault a thing. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Also appreciated the little card with hand written "Enjoy your meal" and a smiley face.

Excellent food, as always. We were served by Josh & the carver was Dave, who both excelled with their customer service.

Breakfast isn't great near the end of the serving time, so I would recommend getting their earlier to get a better selection.

Lovely staff, always helpful and accommodating. Great food even for my fussy kids . Amy the chef is super friendly and the children love watching her cook .

Really good value for money. Christ who served us, very friendly and great guy. We would highly recommend this to friends and family.Will be going again. Loved the choices of deserts. Really good.

My daughter & I go every week for breakfast & love it, but why do they have to water the baked beans so much. It alters the flavour so much. Are tins of beans that expensive?

Meat was dried out .🥕 rock solid

The roast/carvary looked delicious & tasted just as good as far as the ladies in our group said....Unfortunately the same couldn't be said for the double burger meal that a few of the rest of our group had..Very, VERY bland & also didn't taste like beef whatsoever.... All in all a very expensive birthday meal that fell flat & was very disappointing to the point that we didn't bother with dessert & left a few minutes after finishing the meal..

Appalling service waited 45mins, only to ask staff where our food was and she came back to say the girl who took our order, did not send our order request to the kitchen, by the time the food had come my appetite had gone and the food lacked flavour and fish was dry as HELL...I mean dry would not recommend unless you want to be drinking like a fish from dry mouth.and incompetent staff who don't understand their Job.

Ordered and got the wrong order called didn’t answer and when they did they didn’t refund or give are order 1 out of 5

Not a good experience at all, not one waiter bothered to come to our table, even after 20 mins. I understand the automatic order system with the phone, which I did, but it's just decent customer service to come to the table and ask how we are going to order. My two guests ordered a carvery which they were happy with, but I waited 40 mins for a fish and chips that was awful. The fish was flat small and like it had been sitting there for days, it didn't even taste like fish. Wish I had taken a photo Lol. Customer service from the waiters and fish and chips especially the fish and chips was the worseI have ever experienced.

This used to be lovely now the worst carvery I’ve ever been to. Stuffing is so dry it’s dust Roasters could be used to brick a window

Staff were okay, but it felt very sterile. Food was also okay. I'd not choose to visit again, but if I was invited as part of a group, I would go, as everything was okay. Oh, you have to take your own drinks.

Service was pretty non-existent, except the guy behind the carvery counter he, bless him was rushed off his feet, but offered such great service. The carvery was worth the trip.

Big shout out to Lorna- cracking service, amazing personality and went above and beyond for my dietary needs. The Fox would be lost without her.

Lorna was lovely. Knocked down a star on service as she wouldn't sit and play UNO with the family. I think management should consider UNO breaks for staff. (However, Lorna can keep the service star as it's not her fault 🙂)

Carvery was great. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Josh who served us. Food was hot and fresh and the meat was lovely. Quick service even though it was busy.

Affordable pub to host a kids 'make your own pizza's birthday party, and much nicer experience for their parents to be able to relax at a nearby table with a drink and food of their own rather than at a softplay. Food was quite good quality, kind and patient servers, plenty of space between tables, and the kids all look gorgeous with their chef hats, rolling pins. Plenty of parking - don't forget to validate your car registration on the way in or out.

Food was delicious, just what was needed on a miserable afternoon. Staff were great as always. Josh was more than happy to help,took our desert order for us even though was a busy Sunday. We are becoming regulars now so will definitely be back.

Halloumi fries were overcooked Cheese and bacon burger requested without lettuce and onion came with both - staff did offer to cook again but cba The burge meat was cheap grisley and tastes vile didnt eat it. Pudding the brownie was nice, chocolate cake tastes old dry came.out cold, sent it back.

Rude!!! Server mistakenly put our food down on on the wrong table and despite me cordially waiving her over to mine, the correct table, she (Hannah) then felt it appropriate to throw my food onto my table. We came today with a party of around 20 people and judging by the unanimous intake of breath by everyone in the party my disgust is warranted. Will never step foot in the place again. First and last

Lovely main course. 3 adults had carvery. Disappointing dessert. No mention on menu of chocolate ice cream in salted caramel sundae. Would have chosen something different if I had known. Service exceptional from finding a more suitable table on arrival. Shout out to waitress Lorna !

Just returned from an evening carvery. Dreadful experience. I booked it with Groupon. Firstly there were no staff on the front desk to take your information. We sat down and waited, and nobody came over. The one waiter stood talking to the chefs. I approached him and asked what the process was, and I was told to go to the bar. I showed my voucher, but the girl serving had to get the manager. Eventually my order was taken at the bar, but I had to return for the full receipt. No organisation at all. Dreary atmosphere and food not even average. The place was empty for a Saturday night. The chef spoke loudly all night with the staff, which overpowered the whole dining area. Nobody came over to check on how the food was. Eventually, a staff member from the bar came into the restaurant and made up our desserts as we were just sat with our plates. Absolutely dreadful experience. I have, on many occasions, used this bar to meet friends for drinks, however, I will not be returning to either drink or eat here again!! Awful

We go to the fox quite regularly and it is always excellent. The staff are welcoming and friendly you feel like your visiting home. They always accommodate us in smaller or larger groups and nothing is too much trouble. The food is always hot and tasty and super value we can’t get enough. Thankyou for looking after us so well!

Carvery was great. Could have been hotter. Gravy wasn't hot either. Guy kindly microwaved my mums as otherwise she wouldn't eat it.

Had delivery Disgusting..minimum everything apart from a ton of mash called restaurant spoke to manager apparently menu differs from in house if delivered. U basically get sent the most unpopular items ie mash Roasties only words to discrib where soggy an black frozen beans & yorkshires Do chef not no how to make mash have to use instant? Or make yorkshires? Basic food ! There's no words to describe meat !

Jake in the lounge bar was excellent and very helpful and has encouraged us to return in the near future. The venue was very comfortable and inviting, thank you.

Visited The Fox to meet old school friends and had a meal, couple of drinks and the food, service and atmosphere were great. Will certainly be returning soon.

Went to collect a too good to go bag 1st time ever coming manger was helpful got over to the bit where you collect your food and the guy was so rude was clearly having a bad day we asked for cutlery to get a very rude response the food was awful aswell the peas where not cooked at all 🤮 Definitely will not be returning

All good here but always room for improvement! Not enough disabled parking so have to drop 82 year old mother at door, causing inconvenience for other drivers. No small carvery available on Sunday! Why? Who gains anything from this? Generally find 82 year old mother can't eat full size carvery. QR code on table just freezes, I'm on sky network, who knows?? Everything else superb. Spuds annihilated just how I like them

Carvery meal only 2 choices of meat very few roast potatoes left and food could of been hotter. Previous visit, was excellant could not fault anything

After hearing very positive comments about the Fox from a friend (& testing it out for myself) I booked to go there with family and friends after my Fathers funeral. Seventeen of us went there today and I cannot praise them highly enough. Anna the waitress was amazing, so attentive, nothing was too much trouble for her. The food was good, all the staff were friendly and polite, all the meals arrived at the same time and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. The total cost for drinks (hot & cold) mains and sweets was very reasonable, it was way less than the room hire cost of a local hotel that offers funeral receptions. All in all a perfect ending to a very stressful day. Thank you.

It is our regular local pub and The Fox in Walmely is a great place for breakfast and carvery, also the weekly food offers are tasty. The bar is great busy however very attentive. They really look after me and partner. We have got to know the staff well and some have become close friends. I would highly recommend The Stonehouse The Fox 👍

Food was fab. Place very welcoming. Put server, Amy, was first class. Would Def recommend and will be coming again.

Big car park , on entering book your car in drink no complaints carvery again no complaints. Value for money. Family friendly good choice of seating and you don't sit in the dark.

Went for birthday breakfast this morning . The girl eventually came out took my ticket and i asked if there was any bacon as there was only dried up bits in bottom of dish her response was "you will have to wait " with a very horrible attitude so i waited while she was chatting for approx 5mins when she came out she literally threw the bacon into the dish then marched off !!! Disgraceful customer service didnt get her name but she had brown hair in a ponytail ( no cap or hair net ) Will definatley be getting intouch with her manager . Disgusting attitude

Family meal to celebrate Yule with daughter (main family live in North East) daughter and partner live in Birmingham. All staff were friendly and helpful, food was lovely and portion sizes were perfect. Overall a good atmosphere that was relaxing and welcoming.

Breakfast with santa Grandchildren loved it

We came in Xmas day to collect a food order it was very busy but the staff were amazing. Especially the hostess who managed everyone really well even when some were outwardly hostile to her undeservedly. The food was great and made our Xmas so much simpler getting take out. Thank you to all the staff sacrificing their Xmas to work and make others that bit more special

My first breakfast with santa . Well run kids got plenty of time with santa . Food was hot and fresh.

So we went to breakfast with santa a group of 9 which was a xmas meet up to be told we had to be on 3 tables. So we asked to be put on a table all together as it was xmas meet up so they first told us there was no table and when we asked if we could sit on a long table that had been vacated they said at first it was reserved but then said yes as long as we were out by 1130. The kids tickets for santa were reused they had other kids names on i would expect my own childs name on the ticket as the experiance wad 10 pound each kid !! ... over all i feel like it was poorly organised you had booked to many people at a time with a rush to kick us out and the food was all ok though was eaten quicker than replaced and as we were on a time limit we couldnt wait for the food to be brought back out. Santa was good he made a real effort to entertain the kids walking around while they were eating to reduce fear when they went to see him but deffo not worth 9.99 when the normal kids breaky is 99p for my kids ages. The staff made us feel like we were being awkward for asking to sit as a family even though id booked it weeks before and when i spoke to the bar lady she said she was shocked that she was having to give out reused tickets and appoligised because i asked if this was the 1st year they had done this or if it was a yearly thing to which she said it was every year. This made it even worse in my opinion as it wasnt even trial by error.

Today we had breakfast with santa. It was by the far the best I've ever been to with the kids! Chris in particular went above and beyond to make it special for the children! As always service from Anna and Sarah was amazing. Thank you guys x

We had a family get together for Christmas last night at the Fox. Everything was absolutely perfect! I'm not usually a fan of a carvery, but we all decided to go for the festive carvery. The food was great, well cooked and very tasty. All of the staff were very attentive and friendly. A special mention of Amy, one of the cooks I believe. She was behind the counter right by our table and was amazing all night long! Would definitely recommend 💯
