The Queen's Arms is in Birmingham's famous Jewellery Quarter, slightly away from the Birmingham Fazeley canal (Farmers Lock no.9), by a useful Co-op. It's a lovely Victorian building, a traditional pub with a modern look after an extensive refurbishment. You are sure of a warm welcome when you arrive, they supply some lovely beers on draught and numerous other drinks are available, usual bar snacks are for sale. Importantly they do allow you to take your own food in with you and well behaved dogs are positively welcomed!

Visited 2 years ago, have changed hands since then but still our favourite place to visit. Friendly, good choice of drinks.

Love the new Queens Arms. Staff are brilliant, attentive, and friendly. Great beer selection, and the best prices in JQ. You have turned an iconic pub into the best it’s been in years.

First visit here since it was refurbished a few months ago. Looks lovely, very inviting. Bar staff very friendly and helpful as well.

Oral and Dwayne were fabulous! Such fun people to talk to and made our ok stop to Birmingham amazing! 100% recommend this place for sure!!

Eye catching pub , great exterior and well presented inside, a lot of time and consideration has gone into this refurb. Unfortunately ran out of several beers early Saturday evening so choice was limited. It's well worth a visit just to admire the building itself, but if beer is stocked up a decent pint is a bonus..

We were just walking past and just went in for a Coke. The Pub is very welcoming the Lady who was on Shift was so Friendly. Not sure if they offer Food.

This place use to be a great pub but since the takeover. It's lost all the heart and charm. Will not be returning.

We went here for the first time just for something different to eat before heading to the cinema. The Notty Bites menu is simple but with plenty of variety of street food. The pub itself is a proper old Victorian pub with an abundance of character. The staff were friendly and it was really well priced. We ordered the House Cauli bites, Aloo Tikki Chaat, Dabeli and a side of Masala fries. I can't even describe the sensation of different flavours, spices and tastes my mouth experienced, but I absolutely loved it. A great find with a good atmosphere at a great price with incredible food. What more could you possibly ask for ....👍

Oh dear , it could be a "right on" goldmine but...Nice pub . Furniture looks like it came fro a failed cheap bistro. Barman was rude and unattractive. Shame..

Play good music. They had chase and status Baddadan plus others. Good pool table and decent pint and crisps . The young fluzy behind the bar will flutter her eyes to get tips, but she was actually too busy chatting to other blokes to serve our pints, so I didn't give her the tip she was desperately flirting for.

Nice wee pub this. Had old speckled hen on tap which was lovely. Has a pool table too.

Not great as it looked like there was plenty of real ale but there was only one pump with real ale on and that was not great

Wonderful place to visit solo and with family too

Fantastic vegetarian curry in friendly and very well stocked real ale pub. Exceptional value for money and really good choice. Slight disappointment was no tadka Dal available. Forgivable because the chilli paneer, basmati rice and chana masala were excellent accompanied by a cracking real ale and a poppadum basket. Portions were spot on. If you like sharing I’d say go for it as choice is really good. £20 the lot for one fella working away from home and worth every penny.

Absolutely lovely traditional pub with a great atmosphere. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. This is one of our locals, so we are always greeted by name which always cheers us up. Great place to watch sports matches, pool table and outdoor area and board games for those quiet evenings with friends. They now also have a refurbished upstairs area with additional seating and a dartboard. The food is also very delicious and reasonably priced and the whole menu is vegetarian. The 'honey' chilli chips and halloumi fries are an absolute favourite bar snack of ours to go with our pints. Definitely worth popping in to see if you're nearby!

Our first meal after flying all day and discovering this spot was a real treat! The food was amazing and the team fantastic. Alex welcomed us well to England and made us feel right at home during our first ever trip to Birmingham!

Pretty average pub. Gets the job done when you need a pint.

Decent traditional boozer with pool table and a hidden courtyard. Pint prices near £6 were perhaps a bit steep considering there are posher venues nearby charging similar prices.

Popped in last weekend after stumbling into the place. Had asked for recommendations in the town centre and was kindly pointed this way at first I thought it was a little out of the way but so glad me and my partner decided to give it a go. Got some food Chilli Paneer and the Samosa Chaat it was delicious hubby loved the Real Ale selection.

Fantastic pub, best pub food I have had anywhere. We popped in for a quick pint and ended up staying all afternoon, great atmosphere.

The food here is vegetarian and delicious! Beautifully seasoned and plentiful. I've been three times and have eaten very happily all three times. The chaats are especially nice

Used to drink here most Fridays after work - popped in for the first time in a while as i no longer work in the city centre. Still a gem of a pub and the guinness was lovely

Ordered a pint of lager which was given to me with an inch of head, for which they have the pleasure of charging over £6 for, when i asked to have it topped up/served correctly the extremely rude barman got very aggressive and had a an awful attitude towards me, he was so rude that i said forget it, he then ordered me out of the pub and came from around the bar looking for a confrontation, myself being a better man walked away. Basically, if you cant serve a pint properly and are treating your customers in this manner it wont be long before this pub shuts down, theres so many better pubs near by which are better value, way cleaner, and have better staff and a much better overall experience, for example the shakespeare, the royal, the contemptibles, all miles better than his grotty little dive and all in walking distance. Worst pub in Birmingham, avoid. IN REPLY TO THE MANAGEMENTS RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW You must obviously be new to the pub trade, with a lack of common sense and experience, firstly by your libellous response to my review, in your accusation of my alleged comments of a bigoted nature, please enlightened me to what exactly they were. You say there is cctv with audio recording, please publicly post this on line , ie youtube and put the link in your response, and also when the cctv is publicly published everybody will also be able to see the lack of the green food and hygiene sticker which should be proudly displayed on your front door/window, I understand that this is voluntary but if your establishment had a rating of 4 or 5 out of 5 (or even 3) im sure you would be proud to have it on show for your customers, i wonder why your not displaying one???? To sum this whole situation up, if you spent as much time training your staff to deliver the products that your selling correctly and to deal with a customer’s requests for poor service to be rectified rather than ejecting them from the premises when asking not to be served short measures than writing childish (reference to my manhood) replies. Yes the pub might have been there over 100 years but thankfully not under your stewardship for much longer. And finally if you want to raise the size of my manhood in your response, ask your mother about it 👍

We popped in here for a drink and some snacks. What a great little pub. Friendly staff and with literally the BEST pub food any of us has ever had. Their menu is fab but whoever is cooking the food is a genius. We had a selection of finger foods/snacks between us (6 friends) and it was so tasty. Seasoned well and cooked to perfection I would highly recommend the food in here. The macaroni cheese bites are to die for.

Bar lady yesterday was really bad. How hard is it to keep an eye on who’s next when the bar is this small and not that busy??

Nice traditional pub on the outskirts of the city centre. Beer had gone downhill since my last visit. Could have been an off day so will try again.

Had a great wee afternoon in this pub. Firstly a superb pint of Guinness on St Patrick's Day but secondly had some delicious food from Knotty Bites. 6 dishes for £30 and they were top quality and tasty. Thoroughly recommend.

Visiting Birmingham for the weekend and popped in here initially just for a drink on the way back to our hotel. The menu on the table had some great gluten free options and lots of veggie options too, so we decided to have lunch. The food was great & tasted amazing, it was served quickly too. They also had a good choice of alcohol free drinks and the pub is dog friendly.

This used to be a great pub. I lived in the city centre for 10 years and I could walk to it within 10 minutes throughout. I just bought a guiness for myself and a cocktail for my wife...for £13. The cocktail was so bad it went back. We tried another, it was rubbish. £5 for a guiness is madness. Give it a miss. Real shame to see another good boozer go downhill.

Cracking old pub , bar staff really friendly , had the 'Dirty fries' and wasn't dissapointed . Will defo return when in the area .

A great place for a pint or three! ive only visited during the day so i cant comment on their night time , but the beer is good, i always get a good pint so the bar must be wrll cared for (i wish every pub took such care), the selection of beers changes often and yocan sit down, relax and say read a book or have a good chat if not alone as tve music volume is just right , you can hear it but it doesn't take over. i say definitely worth a visit if in the area, there are a lot of pubs locally but the Queens Arms has consistently given me a proper pint!

Nice traditional pub, drinks very expensive hence the reason it was empty on a Saturday night nearly £14.00 for pint and glass of wine.
