The Four Cats in Scarborough

Just back from staying at The Bay. Called here to order takeaway pizza and they were so welcoming we ended up eating in. Family of four with our dog. The cheese garlic bread was lovely. Each had a different pizza, couldn’t eat it all so they boxed up what was left for us. Even gave our dog a little bowl of chicken and ham which was a lovely touch. The staff were so nice and very attentive.

It’s really hard to know how to do pizza badly. This nails it! Expensive and awful. We bought 2 pizzas for takeaway as we were staying on site. The staff were really friendly but there were racks of pre made bases sat on racks with flies crawling all over them. These were then topped with minimal sauce and cheap grated cheese topping and finished in the pizza oven. Not a proper pizza restaurant at all. Wish we’d bought a couple of frozen pizzas from the shop as they would have been a quarte ofthe price but 10 times better.
