Pleasant pub, friendly staff. Hopefully the beer selection will improve.

Strange: google maps says it was open, but it was closed. Maybe some other time we’ll visit it.

Great service. I still don't know how the poor waitress coped with a huge table such as ours with 4 different taps running at the same time. The pork schnitzel was excellent!

Land lord was nice, and they serve Inchs, which is the best cider ever!

Other patrons asking u if u want to buy cocaine when it's you're first time in the pub? Will not be going back here

Quirky little pub with a nice interior. The atmosphere was a little flat as were were the only group in there for some time but none the less we still had a good time. Not the best area, but inside you could easily feel like you were in the Old Town.

Lovely place, dog friendly and cozy atmosphere! We arrived when the kitchen had just closed but the chef offered to make something just for us, it was absolutely delicious! Reasonable prices and the owners were really friendly and welcoming as well. I can highly recommend this place!!

These people are rubbish. Booked a table for Sunday lunch online and when we turned up we were told the kitchen was closed without as much as a sorry. Avoid this place!

Warm and friendly welcome by landlord, staff and customer's of this lovely pub. Good selection of beers and wine available, enjoyed all the more within the tasteful understated decor of The Fountain. Sunday lunch proved a real treat, and we'll definitely return again. Do yourself a favour and visit this pub, you won't be disappointed.

Went to The Fountain whilst we we stayed at Hastings. The staff are so friendly and the pub is beautiful and the music superb. We went back on Sunday for a roast dinner and it was one of the best roasts I've ever had In a pub it was gorgeous food . Thank you so much Wayne and staff.

Reasonable pub, good selection of ales. Bit of an 80s vibe. Music a bit loud for me given number of people in pub but maybe I'm just getting old.

I went to my friends birthday party here last night (26/2/22), and had to leave a comment due to the amazing food that the pub on by the pub, and the wonderful staff. The food was superb, arancini, crab Mac & cheese and more all in a buffet style and it was all fantastic I was so impressed. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, I’d go again in a heartbeat. I’ll be making a point to go again soon and regularly!

Went to a party there at the lovely upstairs private room. Lovely staff, amazing food, happy to recommend.

Attended a fun party here. Dance area with mini stage, different seating areas.

I would give zero stars if I could, went for a meal popped here for a drink after never again. couldn't believe what I saw young kids & babies! At the bar while parents having a party absolutely disgusting! Should be a cut off point for kids. spoke to a guy who run the pub asked doesn't he have a cut off point for kids? He didn't have any answers then tried to offer us a free drink as an apology, how about have some respect & responsibility in your pub.

Absolutely love being in here, so atmospheric, warm and cosy. The friendliest bar people and Landlady. Well worth a visit.👍

Very welcoming Pub. Just off of the main streets, but well worth the few extra steps. The decor is cool and relaxed and the bar team were very good at making drinks just how we wanted them. We would go back for sure.

Great pub, lovely staff. Interesting cocktails, and proper beer on tap as well as last cider and all the usual suspects. Can pay by card, plenty of seating available. Good Covid measures in place and nice atmosphere. Wish I could have stayed longer.

The recent refurbishment has transformed the Fountain: the decor is smart but the place has a cosy relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy a pint in peace. The service is very friendly.

Great pub with a fantastic selection of red wine and they serve Guiness on tap too. With lots of events, dj's, art evenings ie: life drawing and lots more!

It's a nice place but when you look really young they check your ID twice.

Well situated to walks and sites. Stayed in room 2 front. Some noise but to be expected. Dog friendly good food especially vegetarian options.

A great pub. Guy and Anna (the Guv's) are a great couple always welcoming. They bar staff are fantastic. Everyone is welcome. They have music nights, pool competitions.
