The Cutter in Hastings

Been here twice in a year when I bring some ladies down for the day, found this the pub to watch the football the first time round and had to revisit it this time round again. The staff are amazing and the service is second to none, both times I eaten here and on both occasions the food has been amazing, it's not over priced and always looks and tastes fantastic. The pub is clean throughout, TV's to watch football throughout the inside and plenty of seating in and outside the pub. If your down in Hastings I would highly recommend giving this place a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Greatest pub in Hastings old town. Food amazing

We came here two years ago and was very happy to see it still open. We had same food as last time. The minted lamb burger with halloumi and the pulled pork baguette. Kids had sausages and chips and nuggets and chips. Food freshly cooked and served hot. Bar staff friendly and inviting. Atmosphere nice and calm at lunch time. Great for us as the kids all have additional needs. Can't wait to visit again!

Amazing food at great value. They have a pool table and dart board. great atmosphere especially when football or rugby are on TV. The cutter has six tvs, they also have both sky and BT sports. And always serve a good pint!!

Very friendly and attentive staff. They even gave our dog water and treats.

We held a fundraising event there last week. Bar staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. We had a very enjoyable evening and raised £500 for Prostate cancer research.

Nice fish and chips by the sea. If you eat in, there is a service charge, so bare that in mind. Otherwise, pretty spot on, recommend 👌

What a fantastic pub. we popped in for a drink and lunch, the barman was very friendly and welcoming. The drinks were lovely and cold on a windy sunny day, and the food ( I had the burger and chips with salad and my girlfriend had a cheese and onion baguette) were huge meals. I particularly liked the decor and seating, we had plenty of choice and room around the tables, we could've sat outside but decided to go inside out of the wind and away from the gulls.

first time visit. saw someones fish and chips from a far and it looked good. me and my mum had it and it didnt dissapoint! really lovely! average price! slower service than most places but was worth the wait and nice to sit outside and watch life go buy

Today I ordered the breaded butterfly prawns and salt and pepper squid served with fries salad garnish and red cabbage coleslaw and can I say it’s was absolutely gorgeous! I’m a huge lover of seafood and eat plenty due to being a seaside girl and these prawns must have been some of the best I’ve ever had ! 10/10 highly recommend! And the bar lady was very welcoming and had great service! Thank you !

First time, was passing by. One of the best fish and chips. Very big portion taste is great and really value for money. Staff are amazing. A family friendly place, toilet is not so great however it’s a wonderful place to eat some great tasty food.

It was ok, a little quiet when we visited, just one member of staff working but got served quickly. It's a boozer, no more, no less.

We ordered food not knowing what to expect! We thought of the worse since it’s by the beach and touristy. What a pleasant surprise, food was to die for. We ordered fish&chips and was amazing. Well done to the chef, he’s a fantastic chef and thank you for a wonderful meal 😊.

Staff were very friendly and would have stayed longer, but wanted to eat and thought the food was overpriced for basic pub grub. Having said that the portions seemed large and the diners seemed to enjoy it so what do I know!

Pop in for a light lunch 😋 we'll what can I say fantastic food . I had the pulled pork baguette with gherkins and cheese I comes with skin on chips and salad. Portion size was great and price to match all in all fantastic will defo be visiting again 😀👍😊😄👌

Great place to visit. Very friendly. Food is amazing. If your looking for a pub that you don't want the noise of kids. This is the one for you. As they don't allow them at present. So it superb and there covid rules our spot on.

Well we could only sit outside due to restrictions however staff were so pleasant. It was freezing but the sun shone and we enjoyed a pint. Thanks 😊
