Jasmine Thai & Speciality Seafood in Hastings

The food was absolutely brilliant I would highly recommend this restaurant the only problem was the bill....I was a little inebriated but not enough to spot a mistake on pay? I have reduced my tap and go amount so had to inset card BLOOMING GOOD JOB as when I put my card in reader it said £736 I said "HOW MUCH £736 the lady said sorry my mistake and then charged me£73.60 Other than that a nice meal

Ordered a takeaway from inside the restaurant. Staff were genial and friendly. Food came in 15 minutes and it was probably the best Thai food we've tasted...and we eat Thai a lot! Portions were generous and prices reasonable. This will certainly be our Thai restaurant of choice if we return to visit the area.

Came here last year when I had many many dietary requirements, they were so patient and helpful and made me the loveliest Phad Thai that I could actually eat! The portions are generous and the food is very authentic and good.

My mother and I had an incredible experience! We randomly stumbled across this place while trying to find a place to eat. We had an excellent view out of the window from our seats. We LOVED the food! (Probably the best Thai place in Hastings!) I was so full by the end but I just couldn't stop eating! I also appreciated that they placed the peanuts on the side of the plate instead of on top of my noodles so I could decide how much I want per bite instead of just mixing everything together. The waiter was very polite and was very quick to take our orders and clear the table! The food arrived fairly quickly too! The restaurant itself had a very welcoming atmosphere. The decorations were lovely and the pictures on the walls brought everything together. Overall an excellent experience! We will be going again!

late delivery had to call twice, no one picked up on the second call.

Ordered chicken curry, got nothing because I didn’t specify which one ( was not asked by the waitress which one I would like) everyone else ate while I sat there with no food and had to eat of my friends meals. Manager was angry. Last time we came got frozen prawns! Never again!

20 mins late. The mussels were not nice, tasteless and the sweet chilli sauce was not in the bag. Chicken satay was very dry and over cxooked but the beef was nice. I will not order again.

For the second time now our food has been late from this restaurant. When you are charged£3.50 Each for delivery you do expect your food to be delivered on time

I love Jasmine Thai food but was disappointed in the prawn crackers which I paid for - the spicy ones- but we got the tasteless multi coloured ones which are the type given out as complementary sometimes.

Returning customers. Slightly late delivery time (I guess because it was a busy Friday) but food arrived piping hot, with a friendly driver and was excellent as usual - many thanks!

SO disappointed. My partner and i went here for lunch after taking notice whilst walking past, everything seemed lovely to begin with. We had nice window seats, really lovely drinks and my partner enjoyed his starter (we both ordered the pork dumplings, mine had hard almost bone like bits in that i couldn't chew which i found very off putting.) Then came the mains, we were so excited as they looked really good... Immediately my partner noticed a hair in his food (he ordered some sort of noodle dish) we can understand one hair accidentally falling in so he took it out and tried to forget about it. His food looked good and i wanted to try some, I went to have a bit only to be met with more hairs, we dug through the meal uncovering about 10 hairs all together. How in the world do 10 hairs manage to get in one single dish of food? The hairs were short and black... My partner has long-ish brown hair and i have even longer brown hair so they couldn't have been ours. Seeing them in his food put me off my food completely, such a shame because i was really enjoying mine.

The food was great, however the delivery time took 1hr40 despite the app saying it had been delivered 40mins before it arrived. Delivery driver was very apologetic.

We went to Hastings on a day trip and dined at Jasmine Thai. Ordered the S&P squid to start, alongside the Massaman curry, pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao for mains. Good quality food with authentic taste; decently priced coming from London. The service was very quick and our waitress was very kind and attentive.

I have been going to this place for years. They have lovely food. I got a delivery and they did struggle to find my door. I cannot commit on the atmosphere of the place as I ate at home and not in the restaurant. My food arrived on time and warm. Plus it was the same quality as eating in the restaurant. I would highly recommend this place.

Visited just for the weekend and ordered this DELICIOUS takeaway Thai in Hastings!! Ordered the green curry, pad Thai and crispy squid and everything was absolutely delicious, could not recommend it enough!

What do I start with... it was stated that delivery time takes 45-60min. When I placed an order it showed me 1h10min to 1h25min wait. The drive arrived about 10min late so actually altogether the order was placed at 6:35pm received at 8:10. Wow! I could have gone shopping and cook myself. We the discovered that one dish was spilt completed and the rest of the food was cold... never again.

I love this restaurant (been ordering from them for years) and knew they'd be busy tonight so ordered just after 6pm. The ETA was 7.25 - 7.45 (kind of what I expected) but the food actually turned up at 9pm and, unsurprisingly, was definitely not hot. A real shame, as it kind of spoilt the evening.

Normally rhe food here is good. Today, Beef was chewy and curry sauce was cold. Overall, not a great meal.

The food was lovely, although the salt and pepper squid was ridiculously salty. I couldn’t even finish one piece and this is usually one of my favourite things about the whole order. Other than this, all the other food was just up to scratch and was very yummy.

Ordered a takeaway for a 60th birthday celebration after being recommended by a family member, absolutely appalled with the wait for delivery despite being told 3 times when calling it would only be 10 minutes longer we waited 2 hours for delivery, some of the guests who were attending had to leave. Should we have been told the truth when calling numerous times we would have happily collected, very very disappointed

First time eating here for an evening meal (30/9/23) and it will not be my last.... Everything was superb... The restaurant was busy but the service was excellent, the waitresses were wonderful and always with a smile on their faces. The food was amazing, best Thai food ever... I can not praise highly enough.... only wish I could give more stars... looking forward to my next visit... My thanks to everyone at Jasmine Thai.......

Disappointing. Tempura prawns were 90% batter and heavy. Masaman curry was mostly liquid - very little meat.

Always good quality but this one was delivered early too which was a real bonus. Great food.

Possibly the worst take away I have had fron jasmin thai in 6 years. Lacked depth of flavour and richness, so disappointed.

Even though the food is OK,the price is too high compared to the quantity. Mainly the starter and the special jasmine rice..too high

Excellent food and a great view from the table we had at the ground floor. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. We went as a family with two young children and the staff were very attentive and professional. The food was some of the best Thai food I've had in the UK. Highlight was the Prawn Pa Naeng curry and the kids have never eaten Egg Fried Rice so quickly before so it must have been good!

Everything we had was 5*. Fisherman’s soup stood out as particularly fresh and light and very unique. Highly recommended.

Lovely food, but they put rice in with the green curry so it was a massive disappointment not to have a proper dish. The rice soaked up all the juice from the curry. Why?

Find the restaurant at 7:15 to ask where our food was because they said it was playing with us at 7 o’clock and the app was telling us to enjoy our food so they presumed it has been delivered The restaurant said it would be with us varies. We then had to wait another half an hour.

Eaten here a few times and had really nice time, but this time not at all.. so ordered a pad Thai with prawns and chicken only to be served prawns.. sent the dinner back for the chicken to be put on, when they bought it back out only the chicken was to been seen and not the prawns which were laying underneath.. The man chef came out and had a argument with us pushing our food around the plate saying look look look the prawns are underneath.. all the customers in the restaurant thought the chef was very very rude.. the food was ok.. but we will not be coming back and not recommending the place to anyone. Front staff were very nice and friendly, but when their is a rude chef cooking who knows what is going in the food.

Lovely restaurant on the seafront that serves Thai food. The staff are polite and friendly. I ordered the papaya salad, chicken green curry with coconut rice, and pistachio ice cream. And it was absolutely delicious

The food is more expensive than London prices but the quality of the food is not that of London standards. Our prawn tempura was in a shallow tasteless fried batter instead of bread crumbs. The stir fried chicken and cashew nuts and vegetables was watery and dull and had literally five nuts in it. The green curry was also watery but tasted ok. Your price for prawn crackers is insane! You should be giving them away for free with orders over a certain amount, and with your pricing that should be every meal. Ridiculous.

It wasn’t the best Thai food of my life as I was craving for a sea food curry. It was nice. We ordered the house wine and I don’t recommend, better spend a bit more and have a better one. Service was great and the waiter was very attentive and friendly. Overall it was nice

Great food and service at a reasonable price. Spectacular fish cakes.

Order placed at 18.20. Confirmation email received with order number. After 1.5 hours wait, tried tracking order - Justeat response was order number not recognised.Rang restaurant twice, not answering so left message and phone number - no one responded. Finally order turned up 20.30 - no explanation, no apology. To add insult to injury, Vegetable Red Curry had lumps of chicken skin in it. Utterly frustrated and seething that I had to pay £4.50 delivery charge, what a joke.

I had a chef speciality duck dish with some sticky jasmine rice and it was delicious. (Should of taken the pic before sticking my spoon in the duck but hey ho!) Service was nice and friendly too.

Food is okay, but they are usually late.

It was nice but the chicken was a bit rubbery in both dishes, not sure if it was frozen and unthawed but it was quite off putting and unexpected given the price. I the other bits were ok.

I attended last night with a large group and had a really excellent dinner. The food was incredible and the service was outstanding. I will definitely be coming back again and again!

While the sauce was flavourful the chicken was quite obviously cheap/poor quality and that was a real shame. Rice was ok, nothing special. Fried veg fritters were nice but arrived almost cold probably due to packaging

Not enough potato in the massaman curry- I only got one piece- but delicious food as usual.

We ordered food to delivered at 8.15, got a text saying it would be late and it finally arrived at 8.45. However, they had forgotten 2 rice. The receipt had been checked and the rice had ticks against them, but sadly none. Rang up and they said they could get some to us in 20 minutes, but ended up being 35 minutes and gave us some free crackers Work harder restuarant, if I had wanted crackers I would have ordered them, would rather have not be eating reheated food at nearly 9.30 at night The food was tasty, but not sure I would order from them again

Gorgeous food!! The beef in the beef massiman was incredible as all of the pieces just melted in your mouth. Will definitely be back.

Food always very good here and we regularly order. Unfortunately, for this order, one rice dish was missing from our order and we didn’t notice until the delivery person had left so had to share 2 rice cartons between 4 of us
