What a place! Staff are amazing and food!!! Wow, food is just superb!!!! 100% recommended. Perfect stop for lunch for a solo day, with friends and family!

Arrived for Sunday lunch (18th Feb) booked for 2pm…was seated by a very friendly waiter.. had the roast pork & partner had the scampi both very delicious.. was asked by waitress & waiter if we needed anymore gravy or sauces, they really couldn’t do enough for you.. then shared a treacle sponge & custard. Left feeling very full.. well done to all the team at the foresters arms.. We will return..

Wow- what friendly service and incredible food. We prebooked and thank goodness as was absolutely heaving- we had to wait a little for our reservation but this didn’t bother us as we knew it was obviously popular and the waiter was so lovely, we had a drink in the outside area while we waited. Only 10 mins wait max. The food was incredible. My children shared the homemade pie, I ordered a ploughman’s and husband the doner kebab which swears is the nicest he has eaten. Service was quick and staff all lovely. Great visit :)

Great pub, food excellent, plenty of it, hot plates,great service. Varied menu, really nice atmosphere. Had pheasant for the first time ever, served with fresh vegetables.

We arrived without a booking on a Tuesday night, great atmosphere, great menu, lovely pub grub and great service, what is not to like?

Just got home from a really fabulous roast. Was absolutely delicious. Two of us had the pork, two had the lamb. Everything was cooked like you’d have at home. Crispy roasts, lovely yorkshires, stuffing, pigs in blankets just lovely. Compliments to the chef, kitchen guys, waitresses. Nothing was too much. Highly recommend as the best pub all round in the village.

Really nice pub, unpretentious, well priced with great friendly customer service. The food was tasty and very well cooked and seasoned, simple menu done really well.

Staying in Brockenhurst for a few days .Had eaten here a few years ago so booked for Sunday. Popped in Friday evening for a drink and stayed for excellent pie . Sunday was excellent, hospitality as it should be , lovely friendly service and the roast 😀have had so many roasts in pubs where there was often one or two elements that weren’t that good .Not here , everything was spot on .I had lamb , my wife had pork belly . All served perfectly with an extra jug of gravy and probably the best pub roasties we’ve had for years . Such a great pub lovely atmosphere and great food . Thank you Foresters .

We were celebrating our family Christmas early and needed a very special meal out. The Foresters Arms was the perfect venue and the handsome chef here certainly knows his craft! The starters were fantastic. Cooked to perfection. Very tasty. Scallops with black pudding for the brave and an Egg Royale for the more “cautious” eaters. Both delicious and cooked to perfection. For our main course we were treated to a VERY special bespoke pie. This was served as a single pie to the table. It looked amazing. The surrounding tables gasped and asked us if it was on the menu. Beautifully decorated. Very very impressive! Cutting this at the table and sharing it out brought the theatre to the occasion. The beef melted in our mouths. Everyone had their own jug of gravy which is a nice touch. Plenty of vegetables and all cooked to perfection. Honestly delicious and excellent value for money. Service was attentive and very friendly. A perfect celebration for the family and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thank you!!!

The staff are friendly but the outside area is rough and ready like eating in a shed the paving slabs were filthy. The beef was chewy and the roast potatoes were not crispy Wouldn’t return

We stumbled across this pub after a cycle in the NF. The food and service was fantastic. The black pudding and scallops was highly praised by my companion. Highly recommended.

Having enjoyed excellent meals when we last visited, we were extremely disappointed to have been served uncooked inedible vegetables with our roast beef. No one asked us if our meal was to our satisfaction, so when the waitress arrived to clear our plates I was greeted with just an "OK " when I commented about the vegetables, it would have been nice if she had just apologised. I hope she will be taught the correct etiquette in addressing customers in the future.

Found this pub on our first night camping in the area and returned 3 times. Fantastic service, really good food and excellent value. Perfect for adults only or families. A small menu done well!! Perfect.

Having not been here for over 5 years we were surprised to see their lovely 'new' outside seating area. Nothing better on a hot evening to sit and have a pint or two outside watching the world go by. Didn't eat there this time, just drinks, as we were staying on a local campsite and returned there to eat. Nice staff and good, friendly service.
