The Foresters in Windsor and Maidenhead

The Foresters is a child friendly and spacious place to visit with live entertainment and sky sports with multiple tv screens, pool table and darts board and ample parking, a heated smoking area and outside seating. With friendly bar staff and great relaxed atmosphere. A great place to visit and relax.

I cannot work this place out. It does not serve food, is quiet in the day, it has lots of TVs , supposed to be part of Punch Taverns but I cannot confirm, the landlady is friendly and welcoming, wine is good, special evenings Wednesday for wine, usually entertainment on Fridays but just somehow lacks something.If it was mine I would put on a temporary marque, add simple food and promote the entertainment more.

The pub has obviously changed hands since some previous posts. Dead friendly staff and locals, amazing band , good selection of drinks and so on. Surprising age range too! Visited a couple of months ago and it was very good, but last night it was like a party atmosphere with the band! Can't say enough good things about the place.

Exfreme lack of customer service. No banter between customers. The landlord and landlady seem like they don't like people. Quite miserable as if they would rather not be there and don't want the place to succeed. The lack of customers says it all. The 6 customers they had seemed quite friendly though.

This pub is terrible they hardly ask you for a drink and check if everything is okay they also shout at the customers for no reason and recently have changed the pub to 21 because they can't control the pub and the people they barred they also still let in which give it a bad experience and have taken everything out on there younger customers because of a couple people who ruined it they have zero control and they have surved many people under age

Pulled up in car park as I was getting baby out of seat a member of staff approach us and asked what we were doing. We pointed out to her that we were calling in for a drink. She was so rude we got back in car and drove out. There were two cars with 3 adults and 1 child. So they lost our custom. We won’t be visiting again.

...good beer, good atmosphere thanks to the core of regulars who have supported the pub through 3 years of chaotic management. Just one word of warning though: if you annoy the new landlords for any reason (even one that seems insignificant to most people), they can turn nasty very quickly. Notwithstanding, a good venue for a quiet drink and game of pool.

What a pleasant change it is to find a pub in Cox Green that is run by a friendly, customer focused, professional landlord who you will often find serving his customers. Full range of beers, lagers and cask ales available at competitive prices along with spirits, shots, bar snacks etc. Clean, well decorated and furnished. Pool table, dart board and full Sky & BT Sports TV showing on multiscreens. Outside tables front and rear with umbrellas. Large properly surfaced and marked out car park which is for customer use. Decent atmosphere and good mix of customers the pub also puts on bands, discos and open mike nights.
