This morning at 11.55 i went into Costa in Taunton Fore steer and whilst waiting to be served a grey Rat ran across the floor and stopped by the stairs a lady next to me said is that what i think it is and we both watched and agreed it was a large grey Rat, We alerted the staff who did nothing. I went over to the stairs and ran underneath and scuttled behind some paneling, We both thought it a rather odd experience but it was the lack of interest or response from the staff.that i think we were more surprised at. I would assume that the staff would have a procedure for dealing with vermin or at least putting customers minds at rest. Personally it did not worry me that much but the lady was quite upset took her coffee and left. not a great start to my Monday needless to say i made sure the flapjack i bought with my drink was in sealed package. Not sure i will going back to Costa,

Sunday morning 9th January and we were awaiting the departure of our flight to Lanzarote from Exeter Airport. This cafe is located on the ground floor of the departure lounge and was the only catering facility open at the Airport. We ordered and paid for two Flat whites which were £2.70 each. Considering they were dispensed from a machine it took a long time to get our coffees. A bit disappointing that they were served in paper cups There was limited food here, which included croissants, pain and chocolat, crips and a bit more. No alcohol was on sale here.

We visited today and it's a beautiful place so tranquil and the food although limited was lovely.. mostly homemade..the bread is really good. They operate on a "for what is worth" basis which basically is pay what you think it is worth. (If you do go don't be tight as they live as a community and they put the money back into the community funds.) They have Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options also. The filter coffee was good 👍. There is also a little shop inside the tea room which sells bread, flour and other foodie things also they sell soap, toothpaste, shampoo etc. Well worth a visit.

Poped in here for a quick bite before i went to see friends. The burger was just cheap, nasty meat, could even finish it. Not sure why I even botherd as the staff werent in a hurry to speak with you, or take your order. Rude.
