The Font in Brighton and Hove

1 hour wait for food in a pub that is not even full is outrageously long! Over 15 minutes wait at the bar to be served! Only 1 young lady serving at the bar on a public holiday (Good Friday). Would strongly recommend to the landlord a career change, he clearly cannot run a pub!

Stumbled into this place while on holiday. Absolutely wonderful place. Warm welcome from staff, food good and great value, atmosphere buzzing while watching live football. Highly recommended!!

Went in for a few drinks, had such a great night. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Went on a Thursday night and there was karaoke which was also good fun

Hussain and Liv were fabulous on the bar, such friendly service with a smile and they offered great drink recommendations. Also the chef Michael slayed too. Definitely would come back for the £3.75 Madri pints on Tuesdays!

My wife and I took advantage of their weekday meal and drink deal. Very reasonable for centre of Brighton. Staff were charming, attentive and welcoming. As they are also developing music events as well as sports bar coverage. We wish them well and would definitely visit them again.

By far the worst dinner I have ever consumed. The burger was full of gristle and no flavour and left me feeling sick. The lie and mash was also full of gristle and the mash was so chewy I nearly mistook it for bubblegum. Avoid this place!!!

Had a pleasant time with Katie from the bar, the music was good I just wish it was a bit less loud as it was borderline painful, and it was quite hot as well. However good pint selection.

Lilly and Cian were the absolute best and went above and beyond helping us with our weird requests. Lovely service lovely staff and a great atmosphere for 2 people visiting from London!

Came down to Brighton for the weekend with the hops of watching a bit of rugby when the Brighton v Forest game was on at the same time… but wow were Lily and Cian more than welcome and ensuring that there will be a screen spared! Awesome place!

Jay gave us great service and was incredible at looking after our large table for our friends birthday. He is an absolute credit to the team here in Brighton.

Kaia is the best server since sliced bread. Great place and Kaia is such a nice person to be served by. Go and say hi. Great food . Well done The Font.

Went for food recently and Lewis personally provided a 10/10 meal! Service was top notch, and the atmosphere was better than ever! I couldn't recommend more!

Had an amazing meal! The fish and chips were absolutely spot on—crispy, golden batter and perfectly cooked fish, with proper chunky chips. You can really tell Lewis knows his stuff in the kitchen. Great atmosphere and friendly staff too. Will definitely be back!

Went in for Karaoke night last night and the atmosphere was immaculate, at first was confused on how it worked but this young lady called Caitlin told me all about it to me and my mrs. Couldn’t have explained it any better thank you for a night of memories!!
