The Font in Brighton and Hove

I personally love the Font. Sucks that there isn't any karaoke anymore, however it always got very bombastic, so that's fair. The customer service is always fantastic whenever I go, and it always feels like I'm talking to a friend. The atmosphere is perfect. I've never ordered food there, but it probably is as fantastic as everything else I've described. Prices could be lower, but ngl I've had a guiness for as cheap as £4 so I can't say much 🤣

We popped in to see as we were passing. We hadn’t been there for some time and were amazed how it had been improved. We really enjoyed our experience, we understand Lee the manager had not been there long, but the improvement and welcome has made us want to visit again.

Came here for lunch and had some fantastic food! Good value for money! I was helped by Lee who was very friendly and helpful.

Popped in for a bite to eat and a quick drink, staff were friendly, Lee was helpful, would definitely go again and recommend to others!

Didn't took any effort to try to show Girona vs Feyenoord on one of the screens. This should be a sports bar? Update: Well I asked for the game and the simple answer was: No we have Liverpool tonight. The pub was empty at that moment but the staff wasn't interested to help me. A day later a collegue of my called you if it was possible to watch ajax. They said it was and when they came over they were told it was not possible to watch the game.

Out of stock menu, dirty chairs beyond sanitary recovery and staff didn’t even know products listed on the menu. A proper boozer, great for the footie but not for lunch with the in-laws.

Been coming here regularly for years now. Staff are top class, really friendly and accommodating. Prices for food and drink, especially happy hour and deals are fantastic. Brilliant atmosphere for football games,the best in Brighton!

Good for watching the football, but I think the atmosphere would be better if the commentary volume was higher, as it was quite quiet when we were there and the staff wouldn't turn it up

Great, fun place - watched the rugby there on a Saturday afternoon. Really busy, but excellent, quick and friendly service.

Provides alcohol which is the most important thing to me, very happy, very drunk.

I had group booking starting at 5pm, at 6.30 staff decided that one of my friend is „too drunk to sell him alcohol” , he just behaved in weird way at the bar , but he didn’t make any trouble at all, at 8pm they said that they wont sell any alcohol for anyone at our table, even friends that just arrived to sit with us , without any reason. I used to recommend this pub to everyone because of atmosphere but now, I’m disappointed because we done nothing wrong to be treated like that.

Visited The Font during our few days away in Brighton. Great drinks selection and the food was amazing. Big shout out to Ella and Maddie who were fantastic. Will be back

Great spot for watching the football, unique/interesting venue. Food was great, was nice to have vegetarian options for some of my friend group. Staff were helpful and friendly - would definitely return!

Went for drinks and food after work and it just happened to be happy hour! Could not believe the prices 👍 food was your basic pub grub but fine as also really reasonable. Definitely worth a visit on weekdays between 5 and 8!

Still as welcoming and friendly as before. We just stopped for a drink. Glad to see they didn't want to rush us out. We were glad to find the toilets spotlessly clean. It's a pub with a really nice atmosphere, with great staff. Thank you.

Went here to watch the football and enjoy a meal here with family after my son had successfully completed the 100 k Brighton to London ultra challenge. We had visited the pub the previous day and had found it very clean, welcoming and with a really unusual and interesting interior. As a wheelchair user I was impressed with the good accessibility including good wheelchair accessible toilet facilities. The waitress who looked after us was a star ( really sorry I can’t recall her name) but she was really accommodating and secured a table for us to watch the match we particularly wanted to watch. Drinks and food were good , really tasty and enjoyable. It was very busy and the atmosphere was great , friendly and fun. Would definitely recommend .

Sticky tables and my first pint smelt funny and tasted tangy. Not good for a lager. Moved on to bottled cider whilst my friend drank ale.

Very busy on sat late afternoon. One of them is hen night group.

It’s all about the athmosphere. And it Was great. Slow service during the match. Beers took too long.

We all had an amazing night. A few of us had snacks which were served quickly and also tasted lovely. The bar staff were polite and efficient. Will definitely go again.

Good place to have a drink and listen to music, it is not a good place to chat or have a meeting where talking is the main thing, the rest is normal.

As someone who is a recovering alcoholic,yall should kys for opening this place. I can't come have a peaceful pub lunch here and they sell soda water for 20 bucks per 50ml. Like tf? The waiters seemed like they hated me since I was black and i heard them say the N-word.

Such a lovely time! I went out with friends for a drink and a bite to eat and couldn’t have had a nicer time. A massive shout out to Liv who was the nicest bartender we could have asked for. She knew the drinks and food, helping us out whenever needed. I will definitely be back :)

Been for a few lunch time kick offs. Good atmosphere and very friendly. Food and drinks can be ordered from a table, which is good for watching the game. We had bar snacks, which were good and reasonably priced. Nice selection of drinks too. And lovely location in The Lanes.

I would recommend this place to all my friends, due to other circumstances we were going to be late for our bottomless brunch so when we called nat was amazing and moved our booking a little later for us, when I arrived rueben was unreal! He made me feel so welcome and he was so polite I just can't fault Him! And lastly Emily was really helpful with the drinks as where we arrived late she helped with our drinks and food quickly and this was the icing on the cake! My experience here today was amazing and this was because of these amazing people, will recommend to everyone

You bar was too dark for lunch, your seating as a family group of 8 was uncomfortable. Your bar man was nice, but overwhelmed on his own. Your chef was sent home for an emergency. Your app orders weren't acknowledged and apart from the chicken nuggets, the food was very average. I actually say all this with understanding, but you asked for my review. Try and get a little more light in the bar. Thin out the Philly steak fillet as it was too thick and chewy. The sauce and bread were nice though. Hope this helps.

Found this pub on a quiet Monday afternoon. Just wanted a light bite and a drink. And I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the prices. Would recommend a place to any body.

Brilliant experience with the Brighton Kop!

Went to brighton for the weekend, and had a recommendation for The Font. Didn’t know what to expect, but the customer service was exceptional. Hugo and Lauren were amazing behind the bar. My boyfriend has a nut allergy and Lauren went above and beyond to check the shots we ordered were nut free, Hugo put an instant smile on our faces and he just bought so much energy to the bar. 100000% recommend if you’re ever in brighton!

We go this place every time we are from Brighton and we go always Tuesday evening for dance but from long time the DJ is horrible last winter I remember was amazing the music!

Great place ! We went to see a football match here, atmosphere was fantastic. The food was really great, they have a huge menu to choose from and loads of drinks to choose from as well. We waited quite long, considering wo just ordered some tapas, however the waiters were super friendly and helpful. The bouncer was very friendly and respectful, nice to see someone doesn’t feel the need to show their power for once. Would definitely recommend, if I come to Brighton in the future, I hope this pub will still be running :)

Awesome bar with a screen viewable from every table. Definitely the place to go if you want to watch sport in Brighton. You have to try the Bao Buns if you visit.

Awful experience, ordered 2 Drinks, 2 bottles plonked on the table, no offer of glasses or ice, waited a minute to see if the waiter/bar tender came back, no, had to go ask for the glass’s and ice , we ordered 3 snack foods as a light bite, Halloumi and chorizo skewers, well over done and some pieces were hard, reminded me of something that’s been hanging around under a light all day. Dirty fries and nacho’s weren’t much better either, certainly wouldn’t go back.
