We got served by Chloe and she was very efficient, asking as about our meals at a timely manner. She seems to like her job, being happy and welcoming. I had a rump steak which was cooked perfectly. Which in many places they have messed up.

Sunday evening, walked in without a booking, table for 5 and two small dogs, kids had great food, really good priced for a main and dessert. Staff really friendly, absolutely stars with the kids! Even helped them with the toy machine as they got there spending money stuck.

Service and atmosphere was OK. Food was not so good. Don't know if it was because we were a group of 10, but roast potatoes were somehow almost burnt but luke warm. We ordered garlic ciabatta but got a slice of a garlic baguette, which was soggy. It's not like it used to be.

Lovely place to go for lunch .this was our 4th visit this month. . The staff are all friendly and polite. The food is great and well presented. And because we are all picky there was absolutely no problem.

From the moment you enter the folly you are welcomed by a very professional team who are very good at their jobs. The whole pub is spotlessly clean the atmosphere is very friendly the staff are lovely . Dogs are made very welcome . The whole experience is very enjoyable. The food is amazing I really enjoyed my food and I'm a very fussy eater but my food was perfect. The garden looks very well kept aswell.

The nachos were lovely…. Best we’ve ever had. The only problem was they bought our mains out while we were halfway through our starters. The burgers were bland and had no taste to them. It was very quiet and not busy at all.

Change of management is a welcome change. The team that were working when we visited (21/09) we friendly and responsive. The tables were cleared quickly. Will be back.

Staff were really lovely and friendly. I went in to watch the football and they kindly made a tv available for me to watch the match. I had a couple of cokes and a burger which was great. Liceky conversations at the bar with the staff too. Good quality tv to watch the match on as well. Plenty of parking in the car park too. Will defo come again.

Great food and great service! Puddings were fantastic and when asked they helped us by secretly putting candles on the pud for my father's birthday. Fabulous job guys keep it up!

When arrived the place was quite empty as it was in between times of day, the table we sat at was quite dirty and very sticky, Ordered the steak and riddles ale pie with mash potatoes, the first time the plate came out with freezing cold mash on the inside, so was sent back, when it came back out the mash potatoes was heated up so much in microwave that it was all hard and dried out and then when I tried the pie it was full of fat and grisly bits so left it, would never go back and would definitely not recommend, avoid

Had a pleasant time with my wife and myself having a few drinks. The atmosphere was pleasant and the table was clean. Drinks were served with a smile and we will be back.

Being a Hungry Horse fan, recently moved near to Andover tried Sizzler steak, disappointed that it arrived cold and runny. Also the approach of Bar attender towards us was kind of rude and less attentive with her attitude . Me being in the Military will move around different places never experienced this. They should treat the customers with respect despite their race, colour and gender.Hope the manager Hungry Horse see this and correct it.

First of all the place was almost empty when we came and now I can understand why. Server didn’t even answered when we said “Good evening” . We are actually traumatised when it comes to food. Chicken wings had 0 seasoning , completely soaked in oil. The worse hunters chicken I’ve ve ever had in my entire life ,meat extremely dry but at the same time not cooked properly and as well It didn’t even touch a pinch of salt . Peas uncooked. Basically everything was freezer to fryer/microwave. Presentation on plates was terrible. Chef sitting at the table with guest dogs letting them jump on her pretty disgusting . I will never come back to that place if i could i would give 0 starts. Not sure how this is still open. This used to be our favourite place to eat years ago

I took my partner for a bank holiday meal and we had a great time. The food was brilliant and very well priced, as there was a deal on mixed grills, and so were the drinks. Also, the girl on the bar and the waitress on the night were super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommended!

Super disappointed after our visit. The place was really unclean and we had nothing but trouble from start to finish with our food. Firstly we had requested for some changes on our food and was offered the choice to additional eggs to our main which I paid for and agreed which was in fact actually only one egg despite being advertised as eggs plural. The drinks advertised directly on the soda pump at the bar state you can 'add a splash of flavour to any soda'. We requested this and was looked at like we stupid as apparently they don't do them despite advertising it. We ended up with what tasted like very watered down lemonade instead. Eventually our starter arrived. Cheesy garlic ciabatta. However it wasn't a Ciabatta at all. It was 2 small burnt pieces of garlic baguette slices. Our mains then arrived and despite taking ages to rectify the changes, they still delivered the meal all wrong and the waitress said 'oh did they tell you we don't have any onion rings?'. No, we weren't informed. So the plate was sent back and didn't come back out for over another 10 mins. When it did arrive, it was still missing an egg, the burger was dry, the bacon in the burger was the smallest piece I've ever seen, there were about 10 chips which weren't even hot, the chicken wings were soggy and undercooked, and the steak was cooked well-done despite asking for medium. We had to go and search for our own cutlery, the service was poor. And when I tried to bring it up to a member of staff at the bar I waited for a long time whilst only 2 members of staff were on laughing and chatting with punters at the bar, and was met with a sarcastic, unapologetic member of staff when I was finally served. Every table around us was also bouncing complaints and disappointment. We won't be coming back again, they really need to sort this place out. It could be really great if they put the effort in and had a great team of staff.

Visited on the 21st of August. Place was empty. Tables sticky and bar dirty.lots of food out of stock.drinks came without ice or slice even though it was ordered through the app. When food arrived presentation was shocking.carrot sticks locked dried out.Mixed grill was disgusting and burger came without the salt and pepper flavour for chips which was paid extra for.no one did a check back on us to see how food is. Hard to find someone to talk 2 as only 2 people on shift and hardly behind the bar. Wouldn’t go back as the chefs need to learn how to cook the basics,real shame as the place was decent a few years ago before it was left to rot
