O wow what a cracking Sunday lunch didn't book walked in and was able to have sunday lunch, highly recommend. Stuffed family of 4.

Sunday Roast was beautifully cooked and served in good time. Enjoyed the garden downstairs after too. Took my well behaved 4 year old and he loved watching the planes and his kids meal was good price and big portion.

Had Sunday lunch here today. Honestly, the food was delicious and the service was phenomenal. The girls are all so kind and provided great service. We sat outside in the garden which is dog friendly with a view of Cardiff airport. Definitely recommend coming here. We will certainly be back. Thank you guys. We had two courses and two beers £27.20 each. Great price.

The Flying Club is a cracking place. A mate lives in Rhoose and it's his local. We go down to Wales to see him every year and we've never had a bad night there. Going down again next week and looking forward to it.

The Staff are very friendly and welcoming 😊 and the food and drinks 🍸 are very cheap

Lovely place great for watching the planes. The kids love it! The only downfall was that we went for food but there was no chef so we couldn't eat.

This could be a great place for the locals … iris so run down and dirty . Food is horrid .we bought a house in Rhoose so it’s nice to find places to go. Will not be returning.

Nice place to spend sometime and drink a beer. People is lovely. They didn’t have food but we were able to order. You can play to the pool. 5 stars service

Site needs an update. I came here for some food after 3pm.... but they don't serve food, only on Sundays.

Can’t recommend this place enough. I struggle to eat out due to my allergy. When we booked our table we mentioned my allergy and they went out of their way to make sure I had the same as everyone else in the party. I couldn’t believe it. I was so impressed and the food is beautiful. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. Thank you staff!!! Couldn’t be more satisfied

Lovely well decorated bar area with covered outdoor viewing platform looking out onto Cardiff Airport and Terminal. Has a pool table in the main bar area. Open everyday from 15:00.

Used to love going for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Best breakfast anywhere by far. Gutted covid spoiled everything.

This small, very basic restaurant and bar is mainly for the use of the flight club members and clients, but welcomes visitors who have an appreciation fir planes. Overlooking Cardiff Airport, it has a very good view of the runway, meaning that plane spotters and other enthusiasts have a good view of take offs and landings. The balcony area is good for watching relatives having flying lessons. We did not try the food, but what we saw on other tables looked well prepared, well presented, and appetizing. The drinks were typical of a basic cafe offering but enjoyable. A very small cafe bar offering a good view of the airport.

Never ever had a bad breakfast here. absolutely lovley

Great place and I really mean this, the food is lovely, the staff are fantastic and really helpful. There is a new bar set up and the lay out has changed upstairs which is excellent. They have a large beer garden downstairs and a patio upstairs looking directly at the runway. Large car park and it's wheelchair friendly to get into the garden. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Closed for refurbish so disappointed as was going to be my first visit 🙁

Food was lovely. We had gammon followed by ice cream sundae. It was smaller than I expected from the photos I'd seen previously but was still very nice. We sat in the balcony which did get extremely hot..thankfully a breeze helped but this needs to be looked at as I can imagine it would have got extremely hot had it not been for that breeze. Staff were lovely and friendly.

If you are looking for a good value Sunday lunch this is the place to go. Choice of meats, plenty of veg and gravy. Staff friendly, excellent service. Good idea to book not to be disappointed.

Great views over the airfield and a good selection on the menu. Not the classiest place in the vale but it isn't meant to be and works really well as it is, except perhaps the food service could be a bit quicker (waited quiiiiite a while for a sandwich order on last visit and it wasn't busy).

They serve a good pint of Guinness (other brands available ha), meals and great Sunday lunch with views over the airport from the first floor above the pilot training facility. I will be going there again.

Visited for Mother's day, was incredibly busy was service was fast, food was delicious, and the portions are huge!

We didn't have a full meal so I can't give a higher rating but this is a little gem of a place. It must be very nice in the summer and the views are distinctive. I'm sure we'll go again on another trip to Wales.
