Came to see a Foo Fighters tribute band and stayed over in the rooms above. It’s always a good night in the flowerpot. Lots of good beers and really nice staff. The room was clean & comfortable. Bottled water is provided along with tea and coffee. Nice biscuits also.

Fab small music venue in Derby. Loved our evening.

This lovely pub with rooms presents guests with some well appointed, spotlessly clean, comfortable yet compact accommodation at a good price on the edge of the town centre. If road noise would bother you then be aware of the location beside a very busy main road. Highly recommended.

We went to see Ainsley Lister & band & they were absolutely fantastic. It was a full room & the atmosphere was great.

I have never stayed so can't comment on rooms, but great beer, well stocked bar, lovely atmosphere 😊 awesome live acts, dog friendly, covered beer garden

Stayed here quite a few times, very clean nice rooms just on the edge of the city centre, great currys on a Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and great service. Will stay again.

Great Music Pub, friendly m, great staff, great varied music. Yeah

Great pub with loads of beers to chose from, close to city centre. I was there for their famous band gigs. The Watch were excellent and the venue was packed.

Fab location to see a band. Plenty of bars to get a drink and even on a busy night the wait wasn't very long. They are very well organised with the bars and then moving every one to the rear room with the stage. The car park next door is ideal if you have to drive. It's good and secure, current price is £1.40

I attended the Flowerpot to see a concert in the room out the back. Brilliant staff and a great venue.

Fabulous night seeing Cloudbusting with dozens of Kate Bush fans in this classic small venue. The musicianship was superb and the venue was safe and friendly. I noticed they are heavily into tribute bands here now. More new and up and coming bands should be hosted.

Good, a little bit of the beaten track, but ok, very studenty, but no trouble, no hassle, all good, worth at least one pint, maybe two.

An intimate music venue. The staff are friendly and welcoming and being next door to a multi storey car park means there are never any parking issues. Always a pleasure seeing live bands there.

The band on was Southbound last Sunday they were absilutely brilliant. Live music on a Sunday 4 - 7pm free. Get there for 2pm if you want a seat but plenty of standing room and have a dance if you want to. Great venue. Also does tribute bands in another room pay to go. Always well attended. Has small hotel? or B&B? Ibelieve.

Always a good range of beers and some ciders, good options for all, including non-alcoholic. Fantastic live bands of various genres throughout the week, including Mondays!

A friendly pub with a great atmosphere, they have a great selection of music on their free jukebox, have a great selection of live bands on at all times, a nice beer garden and friendly staff. Do a Tuesday ghurka curry night which is top notch. Always felt at home here and never any trouble. Also a great live music venue with a lot of love tribute acts on in the back room and bands on in the garden in the summer.

Great place, great location, room was clean, breakfast selection was a lovely touch, short walk to town and opposite a carpark which cost us less than £4 for over night, will definitely stay again and take advantage of the live bands that perform at the pub next time, thanks Luke for your hospitality.

Went for a curry 20 ,8 ,24 ,got to say we've been a number of times but this was definitely the best yet ,a very big thank you to all involved ,will we be back most definitely

Went for the first time in about 20+ years, why haven't I been there in sooo long, the atmosphere is good, relaxed, the staff are lovely and very friendly, and the g&t's are the best price I've seen in a long time. Will definitely be going there more often 😁

A great venue for bands to watch

It's a proper pub with great beer, a great atmosphere and great live music.

I came here for the live music and coffee not the staying inn. However, I did enjoy my visit and could use maybe a small side food selection after 8.

Great small gig venue. Can get very warm although temperature was pleasant during recent Quo Connection gig, not sure it was a sell out? Great choice of beers and staff are really friendly.

Fantastic location, a short walk into town. The bar has a cool vibe with friendly service and a list of tribute gigs of bands you def want to see!! Overnight stay for work. Rooms are spotlessly clean, with everything you need. Attentive staff show you to the accommodation and explain where to find everything. Will def stay again when travelling to Derby!!

The Monday Nights Unplugged are back! Great artists and good music for those who are serious about their music. The Flowerpot also boasts a good music venue with well known performers plus comfortable and clean hotel hotel rooms maintained to a high standard.

Room handy for a visit to the City. Great pub, great beers, great staff, great music. What's not to love. Visited to attend a gig there and do a bit of catching up with Derby. Had a lovely time.

Went to see the Pink Floyd tribute Dark Side of the Wall. The band were phenomenal. Great venue with lots of different live music advertised. Drinks a decent price too! Will definitely be back.

It was great to see that there were 3 Gluten Free beers, clearly listed, on this establishments bar menu 👍 I was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease, nearly 20 years ago. So it's great to see these gluten free options .. are becoming more readily available.. Well done to The Flower Pot, for meeting customers needs & attracting more business

A public house that has live music and some rooms. Good choice of local ales and reasonable prices. Hotel nearby, Leonardo with usual pricey food and drink, but does offer a 20% discount for parking at a decent multi storey carpark 5 minutes walk away.

Very shabby inside. Never ventured outside so no comment on that area. Typical real ale pub and well known music venue.

Sound place for a quiet drink in week and bar staff are friendly. The curry night looked nice however I didn't order food. Good selection of ales and been recommended to come back when a band is on.

Third time here, came to see a Rolling Stones tribute,,,, they were great, the venue is a very popular and well known for 'live music', using a large air conditioned back room for the gig's, it's very small in comparison to larger more expensive venues, with low ceilings it creates a brilliant atmosphere... Selling a choice of soft drinks, beers, ciders, cask ales and spirits plus snacks... Definitely a place to enjoy your favourite 🎶 music 🎶 thank you FLOWERPOT.
