A very nice place. The food was well presented. It was tasty. However the Yorkshire pudding was slightly burnt & the beef was a tad gristly. The coffee was quite weak. I know that sounds negative, but apart from that, it was very tasty. For the price, however, I would expect better. For me coffee is important. I don't like it strong but two shots is the minimum.

I love this place! It's a local gem where you can always count on friendly service and a great time. The pub has a cozy, rustic charm, with a solid drink menu that includes everything from craft beers to classic cocktails. The food is always satisfying, whether you're in the mood for a quick bite or something more substantial. Highly recommend!

One of the best student friendly pubs in Cardiff. Amazing ambiance and vibe and a lovely place to spend time with friends playing pool and foosball. Lovely outdoor area as well. Shoutout to our bartender Eiry for the service.

Down visiting friends in Cardiff. Popped in to their local. Great pub, friendly and lively atmosphere, staff absolutely brilliant. Jack hall behind the bar was great company. Proper pub with a modern twist. Worth the visit

A superb pub and a vibrant atmosphere, with a price to match it’s a no brainer to beer here! P.S. Some very handsome blokes behind the bar, with Jack Hall taking top spot, Jack Ramsey with a close second, keep pouring lads, go well!

This Cathays pub trumps all the others! Homey and cozy spot. Student discount available on a quality selection of beers. £3.90 for a Guinness and a great one at that! Most popular pub quiz around every Tuesday night. Not to mention a game of pool for a pound in a charming beer garden! The bar staff are very attentive to their clientele (customers and canines alike) and make the venue what it is. I would recommend booking well in advance to try the Sunday lunch - enough said! Well done to the whole team, keep up the hard work
