We went to Fishnet several months ago and was really disappointed with the quality. However, we decided to try again and see if it had improved. The pastry on pie was rock hard and cold. The chips were also luke warm, greasy and were refrys at 7pm so we had to bin the food. Such a shame as this chippy was a lovely takeaway. We don’t know if they are cutting corners to save money but won’t be back as we couldn’t eat the food. This place was a goldmine and they need to raise the standard of food and this will ensure customers will increase and return!

Mini fish and chips, chips cooked to perfection and a nice crispy battered fish. Mixed kebab Naan, both chicken and donna meat full of flavour and warm, salad fresh and cut nicely, naan nice and soft. Jacket potato, cheese and beans, hot and moreish. Pie and chips, pie cooked well hot inside with a nice pastry. Pineapple fritter/ battered pineapple- this is the best thing invented, it’s like a pineapple doughnut. Yummy! Pizza, cheese and tomato nice and soft base and very cheesy. Battered sausage, chips and curry sauce, just the right amount of crispy batter, decent sized sausage and nice consistency of curry sauce. Battered mushrooms- juicy and crispy. Battered Halloumi - crispy and tasty. Choice of sauce’s offered: bbq, chilli, mayo, ketchup, mint and mint yogurt. Lovely Jubley.

Chips was the best i have ever tasted also chicken tikka kebab was another level! Don’t listen to any bad reviews go try it for yourself you won’t be disappointed! All the fish is crispy and cooked to order always fresh and delicious !

Started this review while waiting in the queue. Just waiting and waiting. The service is shocking. Really can’t believe how bad it is. Lost interest in the food by the time I got served. The food was poor greasy and overcooked. This used to be a nice chippy. Even the building now looks scruffy and unkempt. Never again.

Fantastic chippy with plenty of great gluten free options - fish & chips, sausage, halloumi bites, onion rings - plus amazing service from Parol, who brought out our order to us with a separate bag for the gluten free order. Defo order from here again

I’m not going to waste too much time on this review as we thought we would try this place once again hoping it would get better. Nope. Awful. Place looks scruffy. Food poor. No more reviews on this gaff as definitely won’t be going be going back until new ownership.

Used to be a great takeaway but now terrible. I ordered today and the chips have come shriveled up and stone cold. Called the restaurant to tell them and all they could say is okay. Would not recommend!

Sad to say this place has gone really down hill and in fairness I have to update my earlier 5* review. It used to be my favourite takeaway but I’m afraid I won’t be using them again. What a shame!

How quickly has this chippy gone down in quality. We've always liked the food from here but on our last collection we did say it wasn't as good as usual but maybe they were having an off day. Just collected an order and it was dreadful. The food was barely warm, the fish was small (despite ordering a large) grey and very dry. The chips were really dry and hard and much smaller portion than medium used to be. The pie my wife had was actually cold. Awful, we won't be going back anymore.

The Fish was soggy chips cold. What has happened to FishNet?? We reckoned it had been on counter for another customer who didnt turn up! Most of chips went in bin. What has happened to Fishnet it used to be so great??

The old owners was clean, polite and made the food with care ans quality. The current owners are the opposite Fish is rotten, chips are sweaty and greasy and the quality is terrible. Selling energy drink 150% over retail price. Been going for years but never again. Made me and the family ill. dirty isn’t the word

Went to visit my auntie straight after work and we decided to go to her local chop shop. Even though it was dinner time the chips didn’t look, or taste, that fresh and the curry sauce was very sweet. The portions were large and I am sure I will go there again when I go and visit in the future, hopefully this was a one off.

Outstanding gluten free food, Tuesday 5-7pm. Everything you could want is available, the service is impeccable and the food is burning hot when it's delivered. I am so impressed, everyone should try the gluten free options as they are amazing. Thank you Fishnet for offering these options, we really appreciate it 🏆✨💖

Uncooked chips no sorry and no refund I was so shocked I had to walk out Said we don’t do refunds So avid them since they where taken over it’s gone down hill they don’t know how to cook chip and fish and have no idea about customer Think the place has just gone to the pot

Awful…just awful. Surly staff. Empty shop no customers. Food portions small and of poor quality. Place looked unclean and needs a good scrub. Two chip shops in Bulkington and both are terrible. Shame as one could clean up yet both losing out.

Heard a few people say it was nice food. Was driving home with 3 hungry kids so decided to give it a try well I wish I hadn't. Firstly the smell when I walked in was old fat and something rotten. The staff were very busy but helpful. We ordered a large chips and a small which were about the same size! Used for the first time today and so impressed. The fish was large and so tasty. Also unlike many other chip shops they are breaded fish which was so flavoursome. Fist vist of many.

We order via the internet and the food is ready on time, piping hot and excellent taste. The people complaining about portion size must live in a different world-we have a cod and small chips & this is more than enough for 2! Nothing but praise over more than 20 years.

Tiny portions of food, order was wrong. Spoke to the manager/owner, he wasn't bothered.The mini fish looked like a battered sausage at first until i cut into it and realised it was the mini fish.Expensive for small amounts of food, wont be going back.Completely standard food, wouldn't bother.

Awful food. Had mini fish think this was a goldfish as I've seen bigger fish fingers and the batter was like mush not crispy at all. Chips like rubber and very dry. Only thing that was hot was the mushy peas. Never again waste of money

First time using this chip shop after hearing good reviews big mistake. Large chips and cod what can I say the only good thing was the fish was hot. The large chips costing £3,20 was what I usually get at my local as a small portion and they were 70%what can be best described as scratty. The fish was mainly batter and greasy not enjoyable sorry to say overall not a good experience.

Moved to the area and this is our closest chip shop. I'm glad it is as the chips are perfect! Son loves the battered fish and the donner kebabs are great! No gristle or bone fragments ever. Quality meat. Can be a bit busy at peak times but I suppose that's a good thing!

Since the clocks changed and I'm come home from work in the dark. This fish and chips shop has now shown its self to me. There is is always a que when I have gone past. So last Tuesday my family and went to watch Christmas lights turned on at Bulkington and we decided try there fish on the way home. Best tea we had for some time. Fresh tasty and hot and the family enjoyed that much I was asked to call in again on Saturday on way home from work.

Wow, wow, wow! On Saturday night we had a chippy supper for 100 people delivered from the Fishnet chip shop on Horston Grange, Nuneaton to celebrate my husbands Birthday We chose them because they could cater for two guest with celiac disease and therefore needs a gluten free option .,Alex’s communication through out was spot on and at no point did I worry that the meals that we had ordered would not be fabulous . On the day of the party Alex came to the house to check what we needed etc. He supplied all of the cutlery, serviettes and condiments - absolutely 5star !

We are regular gluten free Tuesday customers and the battered fish is excellent, nice and light which is not easy to do. The limited parking can be awkward but the customer turnaround is quite quick. Definitely worth the wait.

This is a wonderful fish and chip shop, this place has been going for years. This place is modern and clean and have great serving staff which are friendly. There is a large choice of food options at this establishment from fish and chip meals to other take away options. There is a small car park out side, the only issue is that it’s gets busy at certain times to park. The food is well cooked and tasty.

The best chip shop I have ever been too!! We eat here reguarly and the food is always 10/10. The shop is always clean, the staff tidy. Me and my partner have never had a bad meal. The naan's are to die for! Will continue to eat here. Would never even think of going any where else.

you don't need to go to the coast to get really good fish when you can go to the fishnet..last night we had a skittles evening and had 50 plus people and had our fish and chips delivered some 3 or 4 miles away and still nice and hot,, everybody said how good they were and we are going to have a barndance soon and guess what,,,we are having our supper from the FISHNET in Bulkington..

Just had Chicken fillet burger. Utterly delicious. A wide range of food (including regular chip shop options, pizza, meditteranean / seafood, and more). I'd personally recommend the chicken fillet burger! They don't currently deliver, but the fact it is often packed pretty much says it all. Heartily recommended.

I came to the fishnet a couple of years ago and was very pleased with the quality. My usual chip shop was shut for Xmas so I thought I’d return here as I remembered it was good.

food is ok but they close during lunchtime 12- 2 pm.. why close the time people eat?.. found a kebab down the road that is open so will use that instead.

This used to be the best chippy in bulkington and although the chips and other items they sell are nice, the portion sizes are soooo much smaller than they used to be, so not value for money

He vivido en el pueblo durante 6 años y esta es, de lejos, el mejor "fish and chips" que he visitado. El personal es amable educado y muy atento. El lugar es impecable y el servicio es excelente. A mi hijo le encanta el kebabs y las porciones son muy por encima de la media. El bacalao es absolutamente fabuloso.

Brilliantly friendly service from all staff. They are always so cheery and upbeat. Food portions would even satisfy a hungry American! Superb quality fish with great crispy batter that is never greasy. Always a thumbs up from us. And I'm always looking forward to a choppy tea from here!

they must have had an off day when we visited, as unlike the other reviews our meals were not good. the fish and roe were good,but the chips were not. they were inedible,tasted like they been sitting around all day, did not like them at all.

Well cooked fish and chips....with mushy peas if you want it. The portions are generous and the Fishnet seems to be well supported by the locals - usually a good sign.
