Bedworth Fish Bar in Nuneaton and Bedworth

Went as soon as they opened in the evening and was served lunch time fish and chips that had been sat there for hours. It was disgusting. Chips were dry and stale and the fish was inedible all went in the bin. Won’t go there again

Staff are so friendly and inviting, it's our main chippy and we travel a little further because the service is so good 😊👍🏼

Excellent food Pete, Austin and Donna are great so are the others there I always use this place now, only downside I would say is every time I go in there I am waiting for chips I don’t mind unless in a hurry, always fresh, great place 👍🏻

Always a friendly welcome, and fish freshly cooked, chips pipping hot, the best chip shop around, try it, you won't be disappointed.

Never had bad food from here, father and son (owners) are welcoming and never a bad atmosphere between them or the staff who also do a great job.

I do love a good fish & chips. Great place & very friendly. I recommend anyone living locally to go there.

Terrible terrible. I have been here on a few occasion and Oscar has sold me a Saveloy which he insisted was vegetarian. We have had discussions about it on multiple occassions even with his dad Pete. Today I asked if he had any and he said that the shop didn't do veg sausages or saveloys. To my amazement he looked me straight in the face, without any guilt or shame about his lies and what he sold me. He sold me pork Instead of veg just to make 2 pounds, Imagine what else they lie about and the quality of their food. Disgusting people, disgusting food, disgusting behaviour. Father and son lying team, appalling and shameful. All muslims and people that don't want to be lied to DO NOT EAT AT THIS UNETHICAL IMMORAL PLACE.

A lovely fish and chip shop. The chips were really nice and vege burger with salad lovely too, my partner had the biggest haddock he has ever seen, which he really enjoyed. Lovely and clean in there, and the staff are really nice too. Would recommend it, we are not from bedworth and we went on locals recommendations. So happy customers all round from different areas. We might have to go again as we are not too far away at the moment on the canal.

Poor service gave us food we didn't order and charged us for it not happy be careful when ordering Need staff that actually listen as they don't understand tbh won't be using use again!!

I live in bulkington and normaly use jims chippy in attleborough as the two chip shops in bulkington are hit and miss but this evening thought i'd try this one as its a bit closer ordered two medium portions and one large portionwhen I got home found the large portion to be no bigger than the medium portions mabe the young girl with glasses that served me was still learning but still someone should be checking what shes serving and at over £1.50 extra for them I felt ripped off medium portions small as well we all still felt hungry after chips okish bit dry and not a scratch on jims chippy. so dont bother ordering a large porion of chips here as you wont get one. I'll stick withs jims wont return here again.

In area for the night on business and accommodation weren’t Erving too so found Bedworth Fish Bar was local. Friendly staff and great grub.

Bought Kebab and Chips. The kebab was very nice but the chips looked like yesterdays. They were shriveled up and I would not have given them the dog.

Stopped off here on our boat trip, really friendly owner and staff and really good food at great prices!

These lads have had 4 star of me only one star short because of chips a bit potato ended ,nice taste tho not greasy could have been a few more tho but we were hungry. The premises were clean ,tidy ,and covid safe.my mate had mixed kebab which he said was plentiful and tasty.so all in all yes a good place for a stop of for food very pleasant staff farther and son well done lads

Friendly service here with some of the locals enjoying their favourite chip shop. I wanted a mini fish and chips for 4.75, but none were available except for the offer of cutting one of the large ( not the biggest) portions of cod in half. I declined and had curry sauce and chips for £3.30. The chips were cooked properly using good quality oil and the sauce was okay. Worth visiting

i've tried other chippies in town and was disappointed with quality. Bedworth chippy is consistently excellent; fresh, properly fried chips and the haddock is ace :) My kids usually have burger and nuggets, wife has mixed kebab meat, salad chips or cod & chips BEST traditional chippy in bedworth by far

We drive here once a week, we eat our chips in our car. You can sit on a couple high stools inside shop if you wanted to. The food is always available and cooked fresh. This is the best chippy, I go no where else. Pete and Austin and staff are very nice. Brilliant 10/10

Its ok. Sometimes they give you cold curry sauce, Sometimes they heat it can be a minor frustration. Kebabs in my opinion are not the best but mediocre. Overall nothing special.

I have started to use the Fish Bar more. The food is great. My gripe is the poor service and the time it takes to get served. You only have a few people in your shop and it takes nearly 30 mins to be served. You want to go to Brixham in Devon and see how the fish shop there deals with their customers. They are queuing in the street 30 - 40 people deep and all the food is cooked to order but you are only waiting 10 to 15 mins.

Just on the way from the Station to the Canal to get back on our boat. We needed to eat and here was the opportunity. Steak Pie and Chips for £3.20 a head. Served in a polystyrene fold over tub they kept hot until we had walked the half mike to the boat. They were delicious. Great food to boat on.

Love my weekly trip. Fish and chips. Delicious. Good priced food. Good quality and portions. Busy on a Friday night. Parking can be found.

Good to see local establishment where owner remembers customers and their order no matter how long its been since u last visited...always chats to you too..well done...food is good and not too long to wait..wont win awards but it is consistent and u know what u r getting and mot over priced either with good portions...only slight issue is not lots of parking nearby. But minor point.

Friendly welcome by the manager and female member of staff. Used to go to this chippy on my lunch break at school. Still good chips when I pop there now on my way from work for lunch. Good fair prices.

Was only in Bedworth for a few hours and looked this place up before going. Easy to reach from the station - just head away from the town centre - and, as others have said, clean, excellent quality and great value. Would recommend.

The lady in charge has no organisation skills at all the poor new girl does not stand a change she even told her to make the portions smaller she thought nobody heard but we all did and we also didn't even get are hole order and by the time it was already after half an hour it was cold she only had 3 people to serve I understand that they were about to close but we came in with plenty of time .1st and will be defiantly the last time .

Bedworth is blessed with excellent Fish and Chip shops, good competition, great quality and good servings. This F&C shop is top quality - but located on a main road, parking can be an issue

I regularly use Bedworth Fish Bar, it is the best chippy by far. There are other chippys in Bedworth, but why go to those when they're not as good?The staff are always friendly, polite and helpful, quite often I go in and am umming and ahing about what I want, so they patiently wait while I make up my mind (no tapping their feet or sighing, like in some places!) I also have difficulty with maths, so sometimes need them to add something up for me or to make sure the money is correct, which they do without complaining. The food is fantastic, recently I had a spring roll with some chips which tasted wonderful. I'm not keen on fish, but I love batter, so I nicked some of my partners batter which was crisp and lovely. They've now got a small seating/waiting area with a little table. They also now serve coffee and have a few new things on the menu. Definitely go there, if you're looking for decent fish and chips!

I guess it s ok ish if you like junk (dodgy) "food" that comes in huge amounts and it s very oily. The women serving there could use some manners and learn a bit of curtosy ...We had the big fish and chips two times...both the chips and fish tasted like very old oil and were soked in it ...we had to peel off the coating off the fish to be able to eat it....

we use this fish and chip shop as ts the best in town , and good prices and service with a smile and chat very friendly , would not use any other place now and ist usually cooked fresh to order worth a little wait .

I miss not having a local chip shop but this one is only5 mins away.Sometime can be difficult finding a parking place but the food is well worth it and they do a quick turnover.
