Only let down was it being delivered 48 minutes early.

On time and very polite delivery

easy to order through just eat. quick response time food lovely and hot

The chicken burger needed cooking longer but other then that it was nice

Ordered a regular chips which consisted of 15 chips. Called to complain but was dismissed. Have always used the Fish inn and understand regular is going to be small but this was ridiculously small portion. Will never order again as staff was so dismissive.

Very disappointed. Lamb was very undercooked. No seasoning at all on the chicken and very dry. Asked for garlic mayo but didn’t receive any sauce. Asked for chilli peppers but didn’t receive any (also paid extra for these!). Was delivered quickly but would prefer it was cooked properly and everything included on the order.

Very average kebab not like a proper kebab shop at all

The kebab was pretty flavourless and really greasy. The chicken kebab was literally plain chicken breast strips. Lamb shish chewy. Really need some work on the kebabs. The rest of the food such as the fish and chips was decent as they have been before but its the kebabs that let them down on this.

the chips were very dry tasteless I requested for the sausage to be put separately and I received the chips and sausage together I don't eat meat i feel affended by this

had to phone Fish Inn twice, asking where my order is, ( delivery 7.20 ) first call, said is on the way to me, that was 7.35pm ,second call at 7.50 , put on hold, then hung up on me, unimpressed with the customer service at Fish Inn, realised my order was not forthcoming, started to prep my own dinner,eventually my order was delivered at 8.12 pm , and was the food was barely warm, no aplology at all from the delivery man, being so late, food was barely warm, very unhappy

the loaded fries are just amazing! never disappoints.

Ordered 6 kids meals, food looked good kids enjoyed it and there was plenty to eat but all 6 food boxes were crushed so food had to be put on plates ( kids love eating out of the box ) and there was no lollipops that I had promised them for after their meal. 6 slightly disappointed kids!

ordered small cod and chips for a specific time and got a very decent size portion of both and delivered by a top bloke on time.

Placed a order at 6.15 it turned up at 8pm an was freezing cold.

I can’t it’s not here ? Then rung shop to ask and was told on way. Arrived just under an hour late. Then arrived sloppy and cold. And just lumps of chicken and chips that just stuck to paper. Really not happy as we usually use Essex kebab and excellent but tried more local this time. Never again

large cod was no bigger than the normal size as for the black shrivelled chips with eyes most of them ended in the bin

Never had an issue with the Fish Inn. Food always hot and tasty. Never long delivery. When they had run out of something they called to ask if I wanted to add something else. Great customer service. Dogs love their sausages too so it’s great :)

Arrived cold, at 9pm the update said the food was with the driver then at 9.40pm the food arrived, the food was cold the chips was soggy, curry sauce was so thick and lumpy

Used the fish inn many times hot tasty food always delivers before time I totally recommend them

Always have a great meal from the fish inn and delivery was spot on despite the address being sometimes difficult to find 😁

This special is good as I do not waste any just enough for one person, always hot and tasty

the fish and burgers are the best, it's so nice to have so many options for your burger, I love fried onions on my burger and the fish Inn offers them among so many others 😋 😊

Very disappointed. Ordered a takeaway at 18 :00 waited 2 hours .. called them back said it’s on way 20: 30 no delivery. Called again . Then told me don’t have any records of your order. Shame very nice food but would never order from them again

Order was incorrect and chips were under whelming ordered a regular chips that were barely enough for one person. When trying to call fish inn to rectify constantly got engaged tone.

food was lovely, only complaint was the curry sauce was really watery.

The food was ok but my partners kebab was ordered with no sauce and arrived covered in mayo. Which she doesn’t like. Shame as used before and was lovely.

I thought that I had ordered the burger without cheese as cheese wasn’t mentioned on the menu plus the next item on the menu was a burger with cheese. The burger arrived and it was covered in cheese. I can’t eat cheese or like any cheese so the burger ended up in the recycling bin.

Cold, late, incorrect and tasted awful. There's literally nothing else they could of got wrong. Most of it went in the bin.

Been a loyal customer to this Chip shop for a long time but unfortunately things have continually got worse! portion sizes have halved there delivery times are on average an hour late which you wouldn't mind if the food was worth it....It just isn't worth it anymore real shame!!!!

All good food except for the cheesy chips, we were expecting cheddar but it did not seem we got it, seemed a very mild form of cheese.

The sauces for the kebab were missing. The chips were barely a large portion and were very dark, greasy and soggy. The fish was very small and again looked like it had been cooked in old oil. Would probably not order again.

Used this chippy for the first time lots of busy staff behind the counter, looked nice & clean, service was pretty good ordered 2 sausage in batter & medium chips, portion were good sausage in bat were great but the chips needed cooking for long, bit under done.

First class as always never go anywhere else

Apart from the awful food, we moved above Luke and co. A few years ago and him and his alcoholic GF debbie tried and failed to have my children taken away because I raised my voice to discipline them and smoked a bit of green, take that how you want to, you really wanna buy bad chips from people like this? Home wrecking, toxic, disgusting, unforgivable people.

Time kept changing for delivery- food arrived soggy and barely warm clearly been sat there for ages - said on the app it was delivered but when we rang they said they still had the order and had to wait another 20 minutes for it to arrive- we usually eat here a lot today was the worst ever - really not happy at all

Usually by far the best take out in clacton but last night food was a big disappointment the food arrived very cold and just didn't taste great, but not put off from ordering from this place again

I waited an hour and a half for my food and by the time it arrived it was freezing cold. Over £40 down the drain and a very upset autistic child.

Fish was not up to their high standard the batter and fish were greasy ...usually it's not greasy and I like middle cut cod it was a tail end I was dissappointedv

Use regularly, delivery service is great as is every driver! Would recommend 👌 1 thing tho, I had tar tar sauce delivered once a few months back , it was so nice . Can't see it on menu and have asked but no response! What's the deal with that ? I want it again please 🙏 😊😎.Thanks 👍
