Shocking - ordered a pukka pie it. Was 1cm thin never been a pukka awful!

I bought a fish supper in this place as the fish looked decent under the heat lamps and I was hungry. Unfortunately, I think they were using the heatlamps to cook the fish instead of the fryer, as I was cursed for days afterwards with violent food poisoning because of my meal. Do not eat here! I almost didn't make it...

In my life go here again and warn anyone to avoid this vile place i ordered portion chips it half of them were blue andveven seagulls refused eating them and the pizza was rock solid i broke a tooth the place is pantomime with service. There lucky getting 1 star from me should be minus 5.

I could cremate my grandmother for cheaper than you cremated my Donner meat. If I could give it 0 stars I would. the "Filling Station" is a very apt name for the place - it fills your stomach that is about it. Void of flavour, dry kebab, soggy and greasy chips. Lack of emotion from the staff. They know they hate the place and they radiate their energy for distain of the place. I've seen your comments on others reviews, before you make the fast food comments. Yes you're fast food therefore the people paying are needing to be there fast and leave and most can't come back. Get it right the first time and you won't have 2.9 rating you plebians. Based on your previous replies to people, you will make some unfounded comment and carry on, the comment will help you dilude yourself into believing you make good food. You will always get the custom as it's in a catchment area, but you will always serve a dogs dinner to those inept of understanding what it is. But for those sober enough they refer to my previous paragraphs.

I don’t usually do this but I visited here with my friend last September the food was horrible I didn’t bother eating mine my friend and his son were both violently sick the next day then I was back with a friend in February I warned him not to get anything he was violently sick the next day in a very bad way then on Thursday night I stupidly went in drunk ordered fish and chips I was violently sick the next day the cleaning lady in the Terlon apartments told the staff on the main reception it looked a scene from the exorcist I can handle my alcohol this was the food 100% that done this to me I still feel horrible highly recommend you find somewhere else nearby . Just a little reply 3 times to 3 different people is not a coincidence I never ate the first time last September after my friend and his 16 year old son complained so we went out to carter and miller

Comida normal, el servicio lamentable, les hablas y ni te contestan, te dan el pedido y ni te miran la cara, que se lo hagan mirar.

I always get a double cheeseburger from here and it's the best burger I've ever had, it's a huge size and the price for it is reasonable compared to going to mcdonalds and getting a triple cheeseburger that just a pound less and yet it doesn't fill me up at all. I seen a lot of negative reviews here and I can't understand why. I'm always really happy with the food and the staff are always friendly to me.

Absolutely disgusting. Food cold and inedible. Staff are cocky and not paying any attention very bad choice . Would not recommend at all .

Awful. We had a doner kebab last night. It was tasteless ribbons of cardboard. I really have never had one so far away from meat as this one. Never again.

Kebab shop that weirdly sells chip shop chips. Lots of green and brown chips, edible ones were extremely greasy. French fries are much nicer with kebab. Kebab meat and sauce tasted grainy. Overall I probably wouldn't return.

I have found this place 7 years ago on a trip up from blakpool and don't go anywhere else for late night food. Raj in peticular, has always been friendly and made us feel welcome Karen and Lisa xx thanks guysxx

After a night out with a mate, we were feeling pretty hungry and so we made our way to the filling station. Unfortunately it was closed as it was very late - they were very polite in telling us this. As I go to make my way to leave, one of the staff members handed me a box with around 10 chicken fillets in they had spare for free - they were steaming hot and crispy. I will definitely be back next time I want a takeaway. It honestly means a lot when a shop does something like this.

Chicken strip wrap and chips was served with 5 chips inside the wrap with 2 strips of chicken

We got our food back to the apartment, I ordered a cheeseburger and chips, and although they were Separate portions, they were crammed in the same box making the portion of chips a children's size, they missed our curry sauce off the order and although we paid for it I didn’t go back the 6 min walk to complain and pick it up! The fish was pink and mushy , god knows what species it was, The sausage was good to be fair as was the chicken kebab, but the portion of chips again crammed in wi the the fish and sausage so was probably half a cup full at best ,,, I’d Avoid this place if I was you , obviously aimed at drunks coming out of the pubs!!

Have just visited the filling station. Man behind the counter took my card off me to tap contacless... Have been charged two amounts. One at £8 and one at £16. I ordered a single fish supper??? Absolute scam and there's no way to get my money back. Please avoid, or make sure you are tapping your own card and double Check how much they are charging you!!!!!

The pizza was really delicious and staff was really respectful and I will defiantly come back again.

Overcharged and underfed. Paid for meals only to be told I hadn't, con-men plain and simple, presuming all their late night traffic are drunk, hate to think how many people they've duped.

Can't believe nobody is mentioning the scam these guys are running on patrons. Handed over 22 pound for 4 chicken strip meals and was handed one. When I questioned it they told me I handed over 5.50 and showed me a a camera incapable of showing any denomination of money. Absolute shower. Avoid.

Terrible food. Paid £12 for pie ,chips ,3 wings and a spring roll. A of which were inedible when we opened our food 5 mins later . I will be reporting them to Liverpool Council ASAP. Avoid this place at all costs .

Let me start by saying the food was discusting. I asked for a chicken calzone and they put pepperoni on it which I don't eat! I asked for ketchup and mayonnaise and they where going to charge two flipping pounds each!! Avoid at all cost.

This is my go-to, late night Munchie Palace. The food is just what you want at 2am, and there's usually an impromptu sideshow going on nearby.

THEFT! got chips curry and sausage for £5.10. paid contactless over the counter, only to see the next day they had deviously placed a 1 in front of the price, charging myself £15.10 for chips and curry. Imagine how many people they do this to. DISGUSTING, SCANDALOUS & DAMN RIGHT RUDE. Get your battered sausages elsewhere, i wish i could give 0 stars.

Food is great but absolute chaos in organising people in the queue. No 2 metres was observed and food came out in random order!!

We went for a special birthday meal whilst on Holiday in Edinburgh, had fantastic food, great service and clean, Covid safe environment. Went back for breakfast next morning, was so good. Definitely worth a visit any time of day.

Customer services terrible. £8 for kebab and chips and kebab was on a wrap full of grease, meat was undercooked, garlic mayo tasted sickly, chilli was overly hot. Black chips and minging too. Overall terrible food which repeated on the 4 of us that had food from there, wouldn’t recommend.

One of the member of staffs beard was so long and out of control and not wearing beard net, on top of that disaster he was quite rude when I asked for a chip roll, I didn’t know that is was called a bread cake in this area of UK and he told me go back to the highlands. Anyway I had to bin the disgusting food and went down to the docks for some chicken of the sea which was much tastier. Hope you avoid this vile place. Won’t be back for love nor money. Bruan Lemonde

Went here after night out staff never wore.gloves but we're making pizza cheesy chips etc smoking place was rotten cartons food on floor was in line watching people being served .been here once before thought give it one more chance but had got worse how health and hygiene not got onto it I don't know should be closed down made a comment and was met with a torrent of abuse .my advice avoid avoid avoid

Visited this place after arriving in the area later at night from Scotland. Ordered chips and cheese. Guy took my money and then he put chips in container and put his hand in the grated cheese, (with no gloves on) to sprinkle on top! I commented to him why do you not wear gloves and have you not heard of health and hygiene, to which he replied "nope not this time!" He had a very arrogant attitude too. The place had empty food containers lying all over the premises and staff just stood and chatted, if not outside having a cigarette. I would advise anyone NOT to go into this place as its filthy.

Came out of Liverpool one cinema and seen filling station so went for some food with freinds .I've never tasted food so disgusting in all my life .I had double cheeseburger was cold really tasted old not fresh freinds had pizza even worse top of pizza just came off just a really nasty mess .wasn't edible chips were hard .complained and was hit with a torrent of abuse .never been treated like that ever .avoid this place like the plague

No hay muchos lugares abiertos los martes a las 10. 30 de la noche, así que tuvimos que recurrir a ir a la estación de llenado. Ojalá fuesemos a la estación de Merseyrail más cercana y nos dirigiéramos directamente a casa. Las papas fritas salieron frías y tenían un sabor a papas congeladas muy baratas, la salsa de ajo se diluyó o se le agregó algo más y solo tenía un sabor extraño. Las mesas en las que comimos estaban pegajosas con manchas de salsa rematadas con el sonido de un ventilador roto justo encima de nuestras cabezas. Qué buceo de rango, por favor evitar a toda costa.

Fui esta noche. Intenté cambiarme, luego el hombre detrás del mostrador (no me estaba sirviendo) me acusa de deber 50 p después de que me cambiaron más de 5! !Horroroso servicio al cliente, los chips se estaban congelando. . Nunca más volveré a ir.Deben avergonzarse de sí mismos vendiendo comida fría y tratando de cambiar a los clientes.

Fui a la ciudad por unas cuantas cervezas (no borrachos) y pedí papas fritas y un kebab de pollo de este lugar.  8. 80 y un paseo a la estación más tarde (demasiado tarde para volver, me da pena decir que) abrí mi comida.Toda la basura absoluta. El pollo era incomible y parecía un corte barato y barato, y no lo que el precio sugeriría. Literalmente lo recortó y lo atribuyó a la experiencia. Evita este lugar con tristeza. Beneficio antes que la calidad!

We waited in a queue of about 20 people. We got near to the front and a blonde girl had pushed in front of us for the second time. I had already complained once about her pushing in front but nothing happened. Then when my husband tried to complain he got screamed at by a member of their staff who called me and my husband ‘dick heads’ and shouted at us. He even offered my husband a fight outside!!!! I can’t believe it!! He was tall and had shaped eyebrows. This was an awful situation to be in and I have never felt so unsafe in my life!!! Awful and dangerous company. Stay away!!!

Dire Visited after having a few drinks.. my dad ordered fish & chips and a bottle of coke was told £5 for the fish and chips and then £1.40 for a bottle of coke... my dad had 2 £5 notes, handed the cashier 1 note and said “I have change” so the staff member took the £5 note a stuffed it in the till quickly, he waited and my dad pulled out a £1 coin, 20p coin and another 20p coin... the staff said “you still owe £5” and my dad (drunk enough that he questioned his memory on already handing a £5 previously) so I seen he hesitated and then I noticed the staff was aiming to take more money than they should! I told him I knew he already took a £5 note and then the change so we didn’t own anything he was taken aback because he assumed because my dad was drunk I was too and I wouldn’t have noticed. a 2nd member of staff (unsure if this was a manager or not) questioned what happened and then the cashier said something in another language, the 2nd staff member said he’d check the CCTV... As he checked CCTV the cashier said “it might be a genuine mistake” after this I seen the cashier looking down and smugly smiling, I assume he knew he was caught out and I was correct, 4 or 5 minutes later the 2nd staff member said we were right and had paid the correct amount. There was no apology for the inconvenience or ridicule they caused. IF you do decide to grab food here, it should be a last resort, you shouldn’t be drunk or should have someone sober and you should ensure you have paid the correct amount.

Absolutely disgusting. I couldnt even eat this food if I was starving to death. Everything has been thrown in the bin. Listen to the reviews and don't risk it. You'll regret buying anything from here.

Usualmente llamo aquí si estoy en la zona tarde en la noche, pero hoy era mucho antes, así que lo intenté temprano en la noche. Brillante - excelente - sabrosos y excelentes precios - ¡Coma de corazón KFC! La amabilidad del personal es como siempre brillante. Para este tipo de salida es genial y magníficamente limpio.

Doner kebab for £5. It didn't have enough salad....tomatoes were slightly dried. 10inch pizza for £5. Greasy. We had a dodgy stomach next morning.

Tasteless food. All deep fried in acrid oil so everything tastes of burnt old oil. Avoid if nothing else is available

excellent place to visit on your way home from the bozzer staff very friendly and they have a large selection of food for purchasing defo worth a visit if your looking for late night food to absorb the alcohol

whenever i visit my hometown, i prefer to try something new. the high street location means it is crammed, however due to this the service has been rushed and so has the food! the chicken grill sandwich was ok but the chips slightly undercooked. i then had to ask twice for a receipt which i need to claim tax rebates! furthermore, i think the food was cooked on a griddle although it was fairly dry and not oily.

Trust me, I've had a few and and don't even think this can be sold as a kebab. The meat tasted like it had been boiled. The pita was tough and the chilli sauce has as much kick as lame mule!

Ordered a chicken kebab and a donner to share with chilli and garlic sauce. Both kebabs inedible. Really strange taste like beef gravy on both?! How can a kebab be so horrible?? The one star is for the chips which were ok.

Complete rip off. Charged us when I ordered for me and my two kids. Put the cash in the till. When I asked after 20 mins they demanded another £10 for the food. I explained I'd already paid but they then showed me the till roll which showed about 4 transactions since 6pm. I know how the system works and it's clear they'd just pocketed the money. Tax free. The place was busy, no way there had been only 4 transactions in 3 hoursI subsequently had to pay again for my food. Absolutely disgraceful. Hope the place gets investigated for tax reasons because I will be letting HMRC know first thing Monday morning about their "till"Do not go here.

O Filling Station fica bem localizado em Liverpool, próximo ao Cavern Club. Como a maior parte dos restaurantes encontra-se fechada após as 22h, o Filling Station pode ser uma boa opção pra fazer aquele lanche noturno. A pizza é boa, assim como o kebab e os sanduíches.

We stopped here for something to eat on the way back to our hotel. I ordered small sausage in batter and chips, there were loads of chips forced into a polystyrene box but they were unfortunately cold, covered in salt and I asked for ketchup which was a cheap and nasty version and was smothered all over the sausage and chips making it inedible. After two bites the whole lot found their way into the nearest Bon.

Visited on saturday night ad kabab and chip...and sausage chips and gravy ..spot on and the staff very friendly will visit again...

Went here for lunch and didn't have to wait long for a table. Server was very polite and friendly however the food was just okay. I got a burger and chips which was just your average burger. My boyfriend got the calzone which was drowned with loads of different sauces which he did not enjoy. The food was okay. It did fill us up and it was okay for a quick lunch but the problem was that we definitely paid more for what we actually got. Wouldn't hurry back as the food was pricey and not just average.

The pizzas are the best of all the takeaways in the neighbourhood. The staff are not so talkative, but they are efficient. If you are hungry and don't want to spend much to get some good hot food, you can't really go wrong. The chicken is also very good.

We ware hungry and a Pizza was the thing that we wonted, but the place wasn't that clean it toke like 20 minuts to make a frozen pizza, probably in the microwave, sorry but I really didn't like at all.

Ordered a large kebab and chips. Kebab was small and overpriced. Kebab was so so greasy that it was dripping and it soaked the pitta bread and broke in half. I know kebabs are greasy in general but this was taking the mick. Unedible. No friendly service and certainly over priced for the quality of the food. Will not be returning.

Got a "large" donna kebab that was more like a small. Not filling at all. Its was drowned in sauce that made the bread go soggy and fall to pieces. The chips were also very dry. It was blatent also that the food had been reheated. Wont be returning. Stay away it isnt worth your money.

A very busy day in Liverpool - passport renewal and a trip to Aintree. So we needed a quick lunch and this was a great find. Fish and chips for three under £15 and they were excellent. Highly recommended. The only hic - the tomato ketchup was not the best!

I seem to have fallen into reviewing fast food/ takeaways but this is one of the best places to grab a lunch when working in Liverpool City Centre, you can eat in if you wish.Chicken burger chips and a can of pop £4.80 - Nice
