Subway - Great Homer Street in Liverpool

I have autism and have always avoided subway because I can’t handle the decision making. Hearing from friends that they have a menu now gave me the confidence to try. I ordered a sandwich but when it came to the salad, the server asked what I wanted. When I pointed at the menu I and said I want that one, she said she doesn’t know what’s on it and that I should just choose. I just about managed to avoid freaking out and crying until I got back to my car. My wife tried her best to pick some salad options for me, but it wasn’t the sandwich I ordered. The woman serving had no sympathy and made no attempt to help or make the process easier for me when I made it clear I would not be able to choose. I shows that my friends were wrong, and Subway remains a hostile environment to neurodivergent customers.

Order was over an hour late, also wrong items missing from order. Overall absolutely poor from start to finish and will be requesting a refund

Smug and rude. Ordered cappuccino with meal. Lady serving, poured sachet milk into a black coffee. Handed it over stating it was indeed a cappuccino, then afterwards laughed with colleagues. Poor stock preparation, served with a side slap of arrogant customer service

Served quickly and staff were polite and food was hot. Easy parking.

Food was cold cookies all broken

Normally ok! Assuming it was super busy because 2 subs had ingredients I didn’t ask for and sauce which then made them inedible.

The food is not good it’s smelling

This Subway store just isn't good. Wraps are never toasted despite asking them to toast the wraps. Wrong sauces. Unsecured bag so you don't know if the food has been tampered with. I'm not ordering from this Subway store again.

Food came with no toppings I picked to go on it

3 time change but i waiting for my order i keep eye outside and delivery guy stop a different street I try shouting my neighbour try help me to he’s watching us but ignored , I must walk for my order he’s absolutely ignored me after I say it’s my delivery he’s say sorry but why I must go far for my order ? If I text issues about maps my address your company probably ignored me too ….. can you sorted it?

This Subway store never gets the order right. Ask them to toast the wraps, repeatedly, and they never toast the wraps. They repeatedly miss items. It's not difficult to follow basic instructions but they never do it right.

never received the full order. 12 cookies, bottle of sprite, crisp and 2 cookies were missing. checked the drivers car and nothing there.

Whole order was wrong my partner is allergic to what was given what I never asked for I’m furious with this will not be ordering again from this great Homer street

TLDR: I'm a subway fanboy as a blue light worker. This is easily the best one I have found. Pros: Friendly staff, good sandwiches, plenty of room to sit, located close to other shops, loads of parking. Cons: When busy, the wait can be longer, but this rarely happens. Longer version: As a blue light worker, I spend a painful amount of time grabbing food here and there, so when I find a decent place, I tend to stick with it. The staff here are lovely, friendly, and understanding of people who have never stepped foot in a subway before. You'll often find other Subways rush sandwiches or pull them out of the ovens early when they are busy, which can impact the end product. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here. Besides waiting longer when it's busy, I can't think of anything negative. And if it's busy, it must be doing something right. This is a solid choice if you need to grab a decent sandwich.

Restaurant changed the delivery time twice. So on hour and 30mins passed its original time. I am a lone worker and cannot leave the property so this is ridiculous

Really good sandwich but it just wasn't double meat and double cheese which I paid for but they did do my request of extra Mayo and onions so that's negation of the negative! No crisps in meal deal!

I want my money bakc for the missing food

I'm happy with the food, but is missing one item from my sandwich I aske for peppers and I dident get any peppers. But the rest is perfect.

Today( 10th March 2024 @ 5:10 pm) I went as normal to this store with my wife. I have been a regular customer and have not received this kind of bad service yet. As soon as I got in, a young girl went back inside showing zero respect and started using her mobile for 3 minutes. I waited and she wasnt happy to serve at all. I ordered a 6 inch sub with just cheese and toasted which she asked me to repeat 2 times pretending she couldnt hear me. Again the same continued, and my wife asked for red pepper and tomatoes as salad and she had to repeat 3 times. When she said tomatoes, the artist threw the pepper away showing no knowledge on customer service and shouting back at my wife. I had to interfere and she was asking if I was having any problem. It was completey a racist outcome from the staff which we had experienced sadly. I have worked as a supervisor in Subway for almost 8 months and managed a wonderful team of 4. This is very bad for a good company like subway and its store too. I prefer Greggs over this because the staff are just wonderful. Again, there is a boy who works in the same Subway, who is very nice and polite and a better choice. I would appreciate a quick review on the staff panel and hope the service gets better on time.

Everything Arrived as paid for (besides a drink and extra cheese & Meat on the Classic BMT sandwich as there wasn't enough meat for sure to make it double and didn't even see any cheese seep through). Other than that, did us proud overall!

one sandwich was made with the wrong bread and normal cookies were sent in place of vegan cookies, so a bit disappointed but the sandwiches were delicious, thank you

Driver brought the completely wrong order. Told by shop there’s nothing they can do even though they are the ones who gave him the wrong bag. Now have to wait for ages to get a refund. Will not use again.

The food was delicious and fresh, the cookies were really good, the new flavour biscuits were amazing, they did taste like Cherry Bakewell. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

I do like my Subway meals but most of the tables today needed cleaning and i observed several people not being happy with the situation. All it needed was one member of staff with some cleaning materials.

I ordered my food around 12:30, i waited 2 hours, as it kept saying the restaurant was trying to find a driver, then it said my food has been delivered, and it hasn't, i phoned subway restaurant and they said they hadn't event cooked it and they were still trying to find a driver, its not 14:42 and i still haven't received my food.

Food was poorly made, most of it was left. And half the order was missing.

Crisps should have been sent with order - 2 ready salted, 1 quavers - all we got was 1 packet of cheese & onion

Tried the tex-mex and my partner had the pizziola on the new menu and we where both really disappointed. Lack of choice of bread and pre set toppings (no thanks) ☹️ I remember the first time I ever had a subway and was blown away by how good it was but it's just been gradually lowering the quality over the years, R.I.P subway , I won't be going back.

As a result of this experience, I can say with certainty that I will never return to this location, and I will not recommend it to any of my friends or family. Cannot follow instructions about the food order and because you can't get refunds from Just Eat, you end up wasting money because this Subway store misses out items.

Can't put into words the level of customer service this subway provides! Everytime i order its perfect! I Will always order from here and recommend everyone else does too! I ask for extra jalapeños and pickles expecting them to throw a few extra on the sandwich except I recieve a tub filled with them! Thankyou to the legend that did that you've now got a 100% loyal customer

I asked for just lettuce tomatoe cucumber and it came with everything on, I come out in rashes when I eat olives and now I’m itchy!

I don’t understand why there is an option to leave a note for the restaurant when the people who work there can’t read.
