When I went inside I was not sure about what have it ....so I was standing on the ber when a guy beyond said me hello...you ok ? I said yes I wanna a cocktail but I don't know which one ....the guy start to ask me my favourite spirit if I was fancing sweet or a bit sour. Oh my god I said in my mind he knows what he is doing. On the ending we agreed for a spicy margarita on the rocks. I like put 5 star as a service because pub was busy but this guy found time for me and for suggest me what was the right choice In my case . Whe I asked his name he said Hayden. The staff were rude to us and one of the staff made disrespectful comments to my partner which we viewed as being racially motivated. When I questioned this staff member she told me that my partner was disrespectful to her during an interaction between the two of them. This staff member then told me that I could stay however I would not be served if my partner stayed with me in pub. Disgraceful behaviour by this member of your staff. As visitors to the UK we should be made to feel welcome irrespective of our background or race. We have travelled to many places and never have we ever received such poor customer service and being made to feel as second class in public. This was an extremely embarrassing experience for us both made worse as we were having dinner with others. This staff member clearly has an ego/power/identity issue and needs to show more respect and understanding of others or find other employment. Customer service is clearly not her thing! Other than that we were enjoying our evening, the food and the atmosphere. However I will never return or recommend this establishment based on our appalling experience - sorry. 2 out of 10 at best. We changed venues and continued to have a pleasant evening.

We thought it would be easy to get a table but a lot were reserved but we were very lucky and got a table for two downstairs. Husband had fish and chips and I had the sausage/veg. Hubby’s fish was a little smaller than his previous Xmas serving but mine was very filling and really delicious!! Over £15 for a large glass of the cheapest wine and a small diet coke! Friday at 6pm, relatively busy. Staff served 2 people that arrived after me, (really annoys me when they do this). I ordered a large glass of their cheapest white wine and a pint of diet coke. The coke was clearly flat, I told this to the bar maid, who went and got her supervisor and was ordered to drink some flat pop because me seeing and tasting was not good enough. They agreed it was flat, and went off to change something or other, so the bar maid gave me a small bottle of coke and charged me over £15 for the 2 drinks. Main problem is there is nothing displayed to show the prices - see my photo with the wine list with no prices on it. Is that even legal? I did ask for their cheapest wine. I would not have had a drink had I have known it would be that expensive. I was too embarressed to hand the drinks back. This is by Kings Cross Station in a dodgy area so it should be cheap. That isnt even pub prices thats restaurant prices for drinks. I was in a pub by the Roundhouse theatre in London and paid £5.80 for a medium glass of white wine and half a diet coke, so was expecting a maximum of £10? I doubt they care about this review, as there are thousands of unsuapecting punters they can work their way through.... So if you want to be ignored, play guess the price and have your bank account emptied then this is for you

We booked the private dining room for a retirement celebration. The booking process and the service were both excellent, but the room was absolutely freezing. We had not been warned in advance that the room had no heating, so this was quite a shock. Everyone had to spend the night in coats and scarves, which was far from the atmosphere we had hoped for. We asked for heaters, but nothing was available. Had we known the room would be so cold on a January evening, we would definitely have booked an alternative venue. What a fantastic engagement party we had at The Fellow. We hired out the upstairs area from 3pm until 11pm, and we extremely were well looked after throughout. We turned up a little early to set up some balloons and banners etc, and the venue was super accommodating. Hayden was the lead staff member on their side, and he really listened to our needs, whilst responding throughout as more and more people arrived, etc. So friendly despite things getting a little chaotic with so many people turning up. We'd also ordered food, split up in to two servings at times we'd designated and that worked out perfectly, whilst being of high quality. All were a big hit with our guests. All-in-all, it was a successful night, and one that we will never forget, thanks in part to the friendly and attentive service provided by The Fellow. Met with friends visiting town and staying around king's cross. The Fellow was recommended by a friend and the five of gathered my week evening for mostly drinks. The decore was nice and welcoming and atmosphere was very relaxed and warm. Like a good wine bar with enough space to feel intimate without sitting too close to other parties. We added 1kg fried chicks wings to help down the drinks. The place was busy but not packed. We ordered our drinks (more IPA selection would be nice and few more single malts wouldn't hurt). The service was quite good and food did not take long. Food took about 25 minutes and to be honest tasted more like boiled than fried but between 5 we managed to finish the lot. We stayed for several hours chatting till close time and overall great time between the good company, drinks and atmosphere. So highly recommended for drinks but on food maybe check for specific recommendations they do well.

Beware of the “Christmas meals” - This place is a bit of a joke! We booked for 10ppl for a Christmas lunch and paid near enough £50/60 each with a few drinks! Service was ok and staff are friendly, also a nice atmosphere for drinks but maybe not a meal! It’s very very loud music so hard to hear each other and wow they are charging a pretty penny for below par food! It’s a large group but has been booked for a few weeks and despite this we waited 1hr for the mains which were cold and salty, and we watched some dishes sit on the pass for 15mins whilst the rest of the table was being plated! The desserts are an absolute Disgrace! The “winter spiced cherry Bakewell with clotted cream” was actually three mr kipling Bakewells popped out of the tin casing with no clotted cream in sight. Some of the crumbles had no crumble and the “lemon thyme custard” was closer to vanilla flavoured milk! To be fair, they are working with a teeny tiny kitchen but if you’re going to charge £40 for a 2 course meal then serving Mr Kipling Desserts is completely unacceptable!

We waited 1hr for the mains which were cold and salty, and we watched some dishes sit on the pass for 15mins whilst the rest of the table was being plated! The desserts are an absolute Disgrace! The “winter spiced cherry Bakewell with clotted cream” was actually three mr kipling Bakewell popped out of the tin casing with no clotted cream in sight.

Was over for the weekend was after coming back from the Chelsea game said I’d go to this place for a roast dinner. My friend ordered beef and I ordered roast chicken . We waited 35 minutes before they came to us. When the food arrived it was stone cold and when we told them they were in disbelief but she took it back and reheated it . The Yorkshire pudding was like you’d be eating a packet crisps was burnt and the roast potatoes were like a stone so hard . The chicken was a disaster . Here is a photo attached of it . Disgusting.

Busy even on a Tuesday night, decent enough beer on tap but the usual eye-bleeding prices for a central London pint

Food was decent although our Yorkshire puddings were burnt to a crisp. Probably a bit overpriced in my opinion. Staff were lovely and friendly.

Really nice pub hidden around the corner from Kings Cross station - a good find away from the main road. Great service. Would recommend booking a table if possible to ensure you have space!

Reasonably nice place just off beaten track for King's x..played a game to see if the dirty leftovers of fish and chips on a plate which we moved from our table at 6pm would still be on the since occupied empty table that we moved it to. Left at 7:35 and....it was still there. Eek Who manages?

Pub très sympa à proximité de la gare. La décoration et l'ambiance sont très "British". Les prix sont fidèles à Londres.

We came for Sunday roast last weekend. It was good of the staff to accommodate a table of six at short notice when they were clearly busy. The food was fine and the beef was nicely cooked, however someone needs some serious training in the sauce department. It was like water. A good gravy can save a mediocre roast, but unfortunately this deplorable dishwater spoiled an otherwise decent lunch.

Another excellent Sunday lunch at The Fellow! What a lovely friendly and helpful team, a great central venue, and sumptuous food. A must for catch up lunch with friends on a Sunday. We love it as it is very central, meaning friends who are flung far and wide can meet up somewhere central in London. Yum!!

Friendly and very efficient customer service - drinks appeared seconds after ordering and the excellent food was also quick to appear. The quality of the Sunday roast I ordered was great and the portions were generous. Top marks to all concerned for delivering such an unusually pleasant experience in central London.
