Celebrated my birthday with friends at Feathers restaurant in NewquayBeach Hotel, we had the Christmas Menu.....the whole experience was absolutely fantastic, the staff couldn't do enough to ensure our celebration was enjoyable. The decor, the decoration of the table, service, and food an absolute 10/10 from me. Will definitely be back. Well done xx

This has got to be a candidate for Best Sunday Roast in the area!! Visited with friends - booked a table which is probably best to do. Had their set menu: Roast Beef with all of the trimmings followed by Apple Crumble and Custard / Eaton Mess. All of the food was delicious - there was loads of tasty meat and vegetables. Service was excellent - really friendly and very attentive, despite the restaurant being busy. Ambiance is superb! 10 out of 10 - couldn't find fault with anything. Highly recommended - will definitely return!!

Went into the bar for cocktails. Was ignored by both the waitress and barman. There was only one party of people there and it wasn't busy at all. No eye contact or acknowledgement we were there even though we were just a foot away from both. After 15 mins of being totally ignored to the point of rudeness we left. Can't comment on food or drink due to the very poor service. Will not be back.

Asked for wine the first bottle come out already opened probably acouple of days ago second bottle came out already opened and the wine was boiled. I booked this restaurant on photos but when we got there the menu was very different no scallops, vennision etc really poor after reviews said it was the best in Newquay

Great cocktails and very friendly and helpful staff

Cocktails are good, prices are on the higher side. For us the style of decor doesn’t really fit into the towns style and is very brightly lit with a near all white decor. Was good but will explore other places on our next visit.

Myself and my partner come to Newquay at least once a month, and this restaurant is by far the best we have come to for find. The food is absolutely amazing! We could not fault anything. The staff were exceptional! Definitely will come here in the future. 😊

Great restaurant to dine in. Restaurant: Interior and Exterior looks good 😌 you want to come in and have a drink or dinner. Service: Very good service. We had very attentive waitress, she did a very good job from the beginning until the end! Menu: Menu selection short and sweet! Straight to the point, love that. Menu design and quality desire refurbishment. Prices: Prices completely fare for what service and food you are getting! Food: Quality and presentation very good, my dinner party were pleasantly surprised! Me and my boyfriend went to celebrate our anniversary, had a good time! Do recommend this place! We have just eaten tonight at this lovely restaurant. The decor is really beautiful, the food was amazing, excellent value for money and the staff are so attentive but not overbearing. The service was great, drinks are reasonably priced so we will definitely be going back! Well done everyone 🤗

An honest experience of dinning here! A beautifully presented dining room. You eat with your eyes first and the presentation of the food 10/10. The mains were really good, full of flavors, the lamb was melt in the mouth. The deserts were absolutely beautiful too. The drinks were well well made and the staff were exceptional. I'd recommend this little dimond of a restaurant (on the sea front) to anyone! Great location, immaculate restaurant, tasty food at great prices, completed with a superb service. Well done guys 5 stars from us Thank You.

I normally avoid restaurants in hotels, but due to the 4 day jubilee long weekend holiday we found everything we tried was booked in Newquay. So we had dinner at Feathers. The dinner was outstanding. Unusually great. Presentation and flavours were really well done. I was absolutely surprised ! I was expecting mediocre and got pleasantly surprised.

Called in for cocktails as an older family group ,the staff were extremely friendly and helpful ,cocktails were first class and although we didn’t eat some of the meals being served looked delicious and we would definitely hope to eat there next time in Newquay.

Lovely setting over looking the sea and great service. The menu is limited and the food not worth the money.Sides are extra to the mains. I appreciate you are paying for the location and ambience but the prices are highly inflated. The staff try very hard to create an exclusive feel to the restaurant & cocktail bar but this is not a high end restaurant. Pleasant enough but overpriced even in these days of the rising cost of living the drinks are overpriced. Thank you for a nice enough meal but £100 for 2 very average courses,a bottle of rose & a drink before dinner was disappointing.

Surprisingly nice and tasty food

5 Stars for the absolutely gorgeous setting, tables, fish tank & ambience. Really a special building and decorated very well. 5 Stars for the incredible staff, especially the female that served us. She was of a quality that matched the decor and was clearly highly trained. 0 Stars for the food, the quality of the meal was shocking. Ingredients used were cheap and seemed really bad quality. Being a seaside town, we were especially disappointed by the prawns and the sea bass. Unfortunately the prices matched that off a somewhat decent restaurant. 2 for 1 at the local pub would have satisfied my palette in a much better way. Overall, very disappointed, however, two of the three main points are almost perfect… shame generally you go to a restaurant to eat. Spend some time to source and cook quality food worthy the value or more of your menu, and it’s a winner.

A pleasant venue and nice drinks. We arrived shortly before last orders at midnight in December. Unfortunately the man working at the bar was the rudest barman I’ve ever experienced in hospitality. I’d like to think this was a one off due to Sebastian having a bad day. Let’s hope so. He was huffing and puffing and being rude to other colleagues, alongside some curt facial expressions pointed towards us. Another career in a less customer facing role would help. On this occasion, a good place was let down by the people.

As mentioned, the decor is visually stunning and can't be faulted. However, the food is another matter. Menu didn't look too bad to be honest. Starters arrived and were quite small - that I can just about accept, but luke warm food is a no no. Mains were again small and pretty much cold. Overall, it's very expensive for what you get and drinks are extortionate - £39 for a bottle of bog standard Sauvignon Blanc. Serving staff seemed over familiar - but that may just be me being a grumpy old man

Where do I begin! We arrived at the almost empty restaurant for Sunday lunch. The restaurant was stunning, however this was the only good thing about this restaurant. There was just one member of staff on duty. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive, my friend ordered a bloody mary and was eventually given it after eating her starter! My husband asked for a spoon, he was given a serving spoon! Our meals came eventually and were stone cold and totally inedible. My daughters meal was missed when the waiter placed our order so ended up eating hers after we'd finished. It was a total shambles from start to finish. People were just walking out in the end because they had to wait so long to be served. The waiter behind the bar was completely useless, he was totally blind to everything going on around him. The poor hotel receptionist eventually came to his rescue. Our afternoon was a nightmare. Such a shame as the decor is stunning. Never again!

Great food - everything was delicious and amazing service, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and the cocktails were fab - we really enjoyed our evening and will definitely go back to try the Sunday roast!

Absolutely delicious, well worth the price. Best steak I've ever had and the cocktails are amazing!
