Went into Solihull solely for house items shopping, but our eyes caught this ‘hole in the wall’ and on a sunny day they had outdoor seating! :) My girlfriend and I were Greeted and so warmly spoken to by such a smilingly glowing woman. Smashing sandwiches too!!! THANK YOU

Ive been working in Solihull for the last couple of years. Ive used this place quite a few times, Great breakfast sandwich on rustic bread always a treat. Worth a visit if your in town .

If you are looking for a good coffee, sandwich of your choice - hot or cold, and want to be treated as a valued customer then go no further. Supporting Solihull and has helped so many during recent difficult times. Call in - you will not be dissapointed.

Rang ahead and ordered a tuna baguette to collect and take away (during lockdown 2). Got there 10mins after my collection time and despite the order being received, it wasn’t ready. Not a problem in itself but makes you wonder why they accept pre-orders. Anyway, the baguette itself was a part-baked, part-cook type, and was clearly not freshly made on-site. It looked anaemic and tasted the same. Definitely won’t be returning!

Unbelievable quality food, with pleasant staff and management. They also cater for Vegans so it keeps my daughter happy. I love the sandwiches which are all prepared fresh daily. Summary 10/10

Just started ordering lunches here through work and cannot praise enough! Extensive choice, fresh and delicious ingredients and incredibly good value! We’ve had a few lunch suppliers through work (including a number of big names) and the Fat Sandwich Co is far and away the best!

Popped into Solihull for a spot of shopping at the weekend and shopping with my wife is a hungry endeavour. Fancied a snack but needed a break from the regular snacky bits on offer (lockdown waistline 😉😂). So coming out of Touchwood I came across this little gem of a sandwich bar, was busy too which is always a good sign. As I'm now avoiding bread etc I was drawn to the salad boxes on offer, which were made to order and as I'm greedy I had bit of everything 😂. Lovely and fresh and the staff were so friendly, with the world the way it is its nice to meet people who are so positive. Well the salad hit the spot and my wife enjoyed here chicken tikka baguette which she waxed on about partly to make me jealous. Now I love coffee, it should be a separate food group alone. Never tried Monsoon coffee before but I'm certainly sold and I believe the girl said it was locally produced too. Anyway, one dull shopping trip made all the better and I for one will be back soon.

Recommended by a buddy, went this morning with 2 other buddies. OMG - tremendous breakfast butty, fast and friendly service. Even have a rewards loyalty scheme. Definite revisit when back on patch.👍🏻

Up until very recently I worked in Solihull and this fantastic shop provided an artisan equivalent to the multitude of big name sandwich shops. A great stop for freshly hand prepared food, lovely friendly staff and Chocolate cornflakes crunch that is out of this world (secret recipe I’m told!) I miss having the option to visit but if I’m ever in the area again I will be back. A local gem for Solihull!

Everything is made fresh and to order. I had a roasted vegetable and houmous sandwich with some fresh salad, on thick brown bread delicious and a great price at £3. My sister chose all the salad, except jalapeno, with tuna mayo, served with a wrap. Tasty and filling £3.95. Service was friendly and efficient. I have not been here before but I will definitely be back. Good choice of vegetarian options.

Dont really write reviews ever... this place is the best! Food and service is always great.... but please please stop playing god damn awful radio 1 !! Your loyal customers and I dont appreciate it lol. Sorry for the bank holiday review, too many beers maybe. Oh yes whilst on a rant please make more chocolate kraknel cake x

Had a couple of different sandwhiches here the bacon baps are good but also prawns and chili for lunch are great

I work in Solihull and always choose The Fat Sandwich for my lunch. They do everything from sandwiches to pasta. I had the homemade soup also last week which was the best soup I have tasted in a long time. The staff are excellent, they work extremely hard and never stop, nothing is too much for them even when they are rushed off their feet. I recommend this shop to all my colleagues and we love it, its nice to have an independantly owned shop like this instead of having to go to all the big chains in the rest of the town.

I’ve been going here for a while hoping it’ll get nicer and quicker, except every time I’ve ordered some food the staff are always rude and get my order wrong. I’ve had high hopes considering the food is very nice and can’t resist going back for it. I’d like the staff to be more pleasant and concentrate on what I’m asking for.

Great spot for a takeaway sandwich in Solihull, if you want to avoid the usual high street options. The pork buns with all the trimmings are amazing - but were sold out one day last week! Very popular place. Really good range of options & the sort of place you can choose your combination of fillings etc.

I have visited fat sandwich many times and thought it was time to share a review. The staff are always welcoming and make your sandwich as you desire. The service is always very good and quick, ideal if your on lunch. The food and bread is fresh and of a good quality and you get a good portion size for the price. The best place to go for sandwiches in Solihull! Definitely recommend!

A great little shop where you can have a sandwich made the way you want. Not being a fan of meat it's great to go somewhere that still makes a great tasting sandwich. I don't live in Solihull anymore but I still visit when ever I'm back shopping in Touchwood.

I live abroad so whenever I visit Solihull The Fat Sandwich Company is my first stop. I particularly like the warm baguettes and the Thai chicken filling. At times I like to customise my sandwich choice which is always fine by the staff and they often suggest alternative options that I might enjoy. There are a range and variety of sandwiches, hot food, salads, potatoes, snacks and drinks. My absolute favourite is the homemade chocolate cracknell which I cannot get enough of and would love to know the secret recipe! The staff are always friendly and welcoming and it is a very clean shop with seating available. What makes this sandwich company unique is the freshness of the ingredients and nothing is processed so it stands out compared to the chain stores alongside the helpful and friendly staff and value for money. I would definitely recommend The Fat Sandwich Company to anyone visiting Solihull.

The food is always fresh and is great value for money. Forget prepacked sandwiches and salads from the high street, your lunch is made fresh for you at this eatery. Staff are friendly and efficient, which is what you need if you're on a short lunch break. If you fancy something sweet, try their cracknel cake, but visit early for this treat as it's often a sell out!

Saturday girls are exceptional, friendly, helpful, fillings all fresh and bread too, not too sure whether the previous book writer goes but isn't here, seems a bit too much over zealous! been around for years, and a local great eatery in the week gets busy but always try to get you in and out quick as they know most people are on a time limit which is fair enough....... if it was that bad it wouldn't be busy every day! give it a bash its one of the better fresher eateries in Solihull.....
