Sunday roast was very good but they should give you a bit thicker slices of beef. They were to thin for my taste. But overall very good. They also had a lot of different options for the Sunday roast.

Had Sunday roast at The Farrier today, and the value for money was fantastic! The portions were huge, especially the Ribeye, which was meant for 2 but could easily feed 3. There was a great selection of roasts, which was perfect for our group with different dietary preferences. One of the best Sunday roasts I have had so far.

Wowza what a Sunday roast this was! Food was really good. The best I've had since I've been in the UK for the past 20 years. Food was hot portions were amazing. One little thing, a service girl was a bit rude to us! My feeling is she was a trainee but her attitude was stinking. All good except the service girl. Hostess were polite and friendly since we got the table late. She did an amazing job. Kudos to the team and the chef.

Celebrated my friend’s birthday here and were waited on hand over foot by Christina and Libby. Even though the place was super busy they made sure we were not left waiting. Great experience and pay rise worthy service! Thank you.

I had a burger which was very disappointing. It didn't come with fries and they charge for that separately . The burger was cold and dry and very small in size ..the fries was very oily. It was a waste af money. However thier red house wine was tasty .Maybe it is a great place to have a drink but I don't recommende it for dinning.

Previously came here as I heard great things about the Sunday roast but the kitchen was closed when I went. I wanted to show my family who were visiting London a typical British dish , so after having a family friend visit London , I decided to try this place out again , upon arrival I was told if I had a reservation and they would see if they could get me a seat for two. After being seated down we waited for a bit then ordered our Sunday roast , the area we were sat in had a lot of sunshine so I asked politely if we could move to another table as the heat made me feel uncomfortable , the waitress responded saying ‘ I don’t know as people have reservations’ , I saw other groups of people sat in area that was sunny and they instantly got moved to another table. Then beside us there was a table of two by the shade we a person had left. A customer beside me said just move there , I asked politely again , the same waiter responded with a sigh hesitated and rolled her eyes at me and then said yes reluctantly, after this it made me not want to eat in the place despite the brilliant reviews on the roast dinner , the customer service was awful. I asked if I could pay for the drinks and forgot about the food , another waiter said the food is being made in the kitchen you would have to pay regardless even if you decide not to eat , I never heard of this before where you have to pay for a dish without even eating , it’s ridiculous. We lost our appetite. Anyways I decided to stay because the food was on the way, I just didn’t feel welcomed , that one staff member was unpleasant and it felt prejudicial. Never in my life , have a dealt with terrible customer service like this , I felt second hand embarrassment for my family friend who I was trying to show a typical English dish , the experience was ruined , it’s a shame because I was looking forward to this. If this how they treat their customers , I won’t be coming back here any time soon.

Disappointing experience. Came for a quick lunch with my 5-year-old son. Despite many empty tables, strangers were seated at our table where we'd left our drinks. The waitress, who knew we were seated there, didn't redirect them. They smoked while waiting for their food, which was uncomfortable. The kids' menu was limited and inaccurate - listed fish and chips, which wasn't available. Staff seemed poorly trained and unaware of basic customer service. The lack of consideration for seating arrangements and menu accuracy was frustrating. The overall experience was subpar. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 solely because the place was open.

The roast was very tasty - but unfortunately a bit cold! Gravy and the torched cabbage really were absolutely delicious!

Not good for Sunday roast, music intended for a bit more of party scene, way too salty, not well priced. Would avoid if I could. The location is quite lovely, and a break from the chaotic market, but I'd only go here for a drink.

Friendly staff, very accommodating as we needed to change our arrival time twice due to problems with the trains. The food was delicious and such a varied menu. A fab selection of wine and cocktails on offer also, we will definitely be back.

Delicious wine, ambience so-so, service nice but not really attentive.

I might have eaten the steak of my life here in this restaurant today. I had to go to kitchen afterwards and thank to the chef personally. Baked potato was as good as a baked potato could ever be.

Stellar time at the Farrier! Great selection of wines, lovely atmosphere in a quieter end of Camden Market. At recommendation of Mike my server (who was wonderful) ordered the corn ribs (incredible) and the steak with truffle parmesan fries was top notch. Will be visiting again soon when I’m north.

Lovely spacious pub in Camden. Had the burrata with Isle of Wight tomatoes which was so fresh and tasty. Delicious coffee too from a local roaster which you wouldn’t expect from a pub! Special mention to Mike for the fab service and making us feel so welcome

I really don't know what the hype is about this place. The decor is nice but it lacks in atmosphere unless you're in the peak of summer, the buzz from the market definitely carries it. We were a medium sized group in a pretty much empty restaurant, we had been asked to make an early dinner reservation at their request to accommodate approx. 11 people and the food was still very underwhelming. The real icing on the cake was seeing a rat scurry across the floor mid-meal. I flagged it to our waitress and management who were pretty blaise about the whole thing which would suggest to me that it's probably a fairly normal occurrence

Both beef and pork in our sunday roasts are delicious! One down side of the whole dosh was the yorkshire pudding, they tasted bland and burnt.

Good pub in Camden Market, not ridiculously priced and a reasonable selection of beer

Food was good, beautiful presentation, plus, a lot in the plate, I could not finish it all. Good music and nice place to rest after a long walk in Camden. The only Bad surprise is the service charge (12.5%) which is charged without previous information... I would let the costumer decide if they wish to tip or not!

It was the most unpleasant experience!! Don’t know how this place comes up one of the best pubs/sunday roast places!! Definitely you should avoid this place, not the food was anything special but the service and the manager is the most!!! Rude!!!! Person we have ever met. We live in London and the pub should get rid of this host person with the attitude and rudeness!!

Bar staff today were best in London...

Incredibly rude staff. Despite respecting and understanding their rules for not having external food, the limit was where a group member was made to finish their take away coffee outside. We, being a group of 15 people, were also made to fit on a table of 10, despite there being a free and unreserved table next to us. We were also made to get up as soon as we paid. Not a welcoming place at all and a good way to turn away business, especially with a potentially large income opportunity and much competition around (especially next door who were more accommodating!). Not great...

The Guinness was not poured properly, and the gas they used probably was 60 , but the rest was amazing

Our family tried fish & chips at over a dozen restaurants during our vacation in Great Britain and The Farrier has the best by far. The server was very nice and attended to us courteously and with good humor. We really enjoyed a late lunch here, and a bit of a break from the hustle and bustle of the nearby Camden Market. We enjoyed The Farrier and hope you do too!

If you're looking for the Sunday Roast, do yourself a favor and book a table here. My dish was only £22, and it was the tastiest thing I've ever tasted. The dessert is also a show 💖✈️. Very friendly service, all the girls were very nice.

We went for a Sunday roast, good place and quick service.

We had a variety of dishes from starters and mains and every was cooked to perfection and the quality of produce was noticed. Will definitely return and recommend.

We have eaten great. The food was prepared excellently, very good flavor and perfect point of the meat of the hamburger. The perfect fish & chips. All accompanied by potatoes, red salad for the hamburger and potatoes with mashed peas for the fish. We ordered hummus to snack while we waited and it was delicious too. Beer and soft drink. Attentive and friendly.

We have eaten great. The fish & chips were very delicious, the attention from the waiters was great. The place is good, and the music is very good. The best of Camden Lock without a doubt. 100% recommended

Very good Sunday Roast, one my favourite in London.

Nice spot for lunch, fairly casual inside. Friendly staff. Chicken was tasty, carrot and parnsip good, veg and yorkshire pudding really nice. The potatoes although tasty as cooked in garlic were very hard on the outside. I would have liked a bit more gravy too but a big portion and overall enjoyed it. Pint of lager was pretty expensive. The let down was the toilets, smelly and needed a clean.

Came to try the sunday roast along my partner. We were warmly welcomed and escorted to the table and served by Courtney. The food came well presented and was delicious while being generous on portioning. In conclusion, the ambience, service, and food were excellent for the amount being charged; therefore, I'd encourage you to try this place.

An excellent Sunday roast which deservedly belongs within the top roasts in London. Very friendly staff and to top it off, they provided a free glass of champagne on Mothers Day.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Came to the beautiful venue with only the best expectations, to only find cold and plain food. The Yorkshire pudding was very stale, potatoes soggy, overall tasted like it was left out for ages. Price for value wasn’t there and frankly very disappointed. Wouldn’t come back.

Been going around the country to find the best Sunday roast dinners there are out in the United Kingdom. This is far in the bottom category as the food was bland, Yorkshire pudding was basic Aldi type, gravy was poor. Could have done better from a home dinner. Lovely service and staff. Atmosphere was perfect but unfortunately very disappointed with the outcome of the food.

Came in for the roast which was delicious, the bloody Mary was one of the best I've had in London and the service was excellent. Great place!!

Came here for Sunday roast on Mothers' Day. Cannot fault the service (we couldn't park were running late they were very kind to us as a party of two). The roast may have been the best I have ever had, and the sticky toffee pudding was absolutely melt in the mouth sensational. Already trying to think of reasons to come back here. Delicious and bloody marvellous.

We had a Sunday roast here and it was delicious! They were very busy but the food came out quickly and perfectly. We arrived early but the lovely woman on the door found us somewhere to sit to enjoy a drink before the table was ready, They had a larger choice of roasts than you usually see and it did not disappoint. They staff of the door and the waitress were so lovely and attentive. I would highly recommend

Lovely Sunday roast. I took my mum for an early mother’s day roast. I got the venison roast and my mum got the ham. She was extremely happy and said its one of the best roasts she’s had! The roast potatoes were to die for!! It was a lovely atmosphere, the staff were pleasant and quick to serve us. The venue is beautiful with a very authentic feel. My only criticism was it was a bit breezy with the door being open.

Food was good. Some nice options on the menu. Really enjoyed it. The only nonsense thing in my opinion is that they bring food in random order, whenever it’s ready. For us, this meant that we received our 3 mains at the same time as the appetisers. In essence, we starved for one hour and then had so much food in one go we couldn’t finish it. This should be improved.

Good Sunday roast and service. Great environment.

Went on a Sunday and had the roast dinner. We tried the chicken and the beef roast dinners. The chicken was cooked to perfection and was very soft. The roast potatoes are devine. The Yorkshire puddings were sensational and the vegetables and red wine gravy were delicious. Would highly recommend. Good selection of drinks and delicious cocktails. A booking is the best way to ensure you will get a table. The rest is in an old stable at Camden market which is really cool.

We had a really great time! We booked for 4 plus a little girl. we arrived 20 minutes early and they still found us a table with a seat for the child. Very friendly waitress and quick service. We had 4 Sunday roasts and they were really good. Of course I've had better, but overall they were good. Cozy atmosphere. I'll come back!!!

Food is ok, however please check your bill before you pay. We had a 50% discount thought the fork, anyway they charged the full service charge, without a reason and not in a transparent way, plus the service charge on the discounted final bill.

Unsure why there is no chicken on the menu? Very, very odd. Also service is slightly chaotic, not necessarily bad but feels disorganised. Food is good! On the pricey side. Would recommend anyway.

Cool pub restaurant. Enjoyed the rump steak, beer battered cod, burger, cornish lamb rump, pad thai fried chicken and bloody mary mussels.

I recently moved to the UK and had my first ever Sunday Roast at The Farrier and was incredibly impressed! I ordered the pork roast, with the cauli side, big pig in blanket, and of course a glass of red wine. The truffle cauliflower cheese side was a stand-out. I would love to come back!

Really warm, friendly and knowledgeable service. Staff were all personable and very attentive. The food was fantastic- generous portion sizes and incredibly tasty.

This was the perfect Sunday roast ! Tucked in, just at the enf of Camden market. it was a lovely place to spend the last day of 2023.

Great place for some gastro pub style food. With a brilliant menu offering that has a bit of something for everyone, you're never left wanting. As well as the good food you can go in for a casual drink and to play some boardgames. Some recommendations/advice to fellow patrons; The beef short-rib is bigger than you expect it to be. The burger is probably going to be one of the best and juiciest that you'll ever have. The mussels are brilliant.

Everything was ok until we saw the chef eating while preparing our dish, with the sauce on the side of her mouth and everything.. (we were the 1st customers till that moment) after a while people came and we saw her pulling out a hair from someone else’s dish before delivering it.

I have to say I'm extremely disappointed. I came here a year ago and had an absolutely delicious burger. Cooked too perfection and quality meat was more a steak burger then your regular standard patty. Juicy and so tender. I was thoroughly excited when I finally got the chance to go back after a year of dreaming about that burger only to find out they have changed all kitchen staff and now use standard burger patties which are average at best and weren't cooked well either. The only saving grace is how amazing all the serving staff were and the atmosphere is amazing as well so as a place to grab a drink it's great and the food is still okay just disappointed in decisions made led to ruining what was such an amazing meal I had a year ago. Hope they change back but unlikely

Such a lovely spot, tucked into a cosy spot in the stables (Camden market). The servers were really friendly and helpful! The food really hit the spot and there were plenty of games also if you just wanted a fun chill out with friends! Highly recommend

Great food and great location, only let down was the bad service about 3 times we waited on drinks only for them to come back and update us on how the cocktails asked for are now not available, we ordered from the happy hour menu when it came to 5pm (advertised and shown on menu) as well only when bill came there was no happy hour and on top of that they had tried to charge us for 2 of the cocktails they couldn't make us lol, when highlighted we just got told the happy hour wasn't on even though it's on the drinks menu page , apart from that everything was great and would probably go back as the food was really good

Very attractive restaurant for Christmas, warm and cosy. The food could not be faulted it came hot and was absolutely delicious. Although please do not add horseradish sauce to the plate, that needs to be separate as not everyone likes it and it seeps into the gravy, which I didn’t like. My meat arrived rare but there was no problem as they cooked it well done for me. The dessert we ordered was strawberry and apple crumble it arrived in a small remakin if I could suggest using a bowl as it was very difficult to eat and just went over the sides. Not practical. The waiters were very friendly and very polite. I would definitely return. Thank you for making our Christmas New Year lunch a special one.

Exceptional food, atmosphere, and service again! The Sunday roast here is among the best in the UK. This quickly became one of our favourite spots in London, and we can’t wait to come back.

Our second time visiting and on Christmas Eve. A great coincidence it was on a Sunday so got a to choose between 5 different Roast options. We chose Beef, Lamb and Pork. Starting with some Mulled Wine and ending with Sticky Toffee Pudding made this an incredible meal and a special Christmas Eve.

Lovely setting, lovely meal and superb service - the server, Asha, was knowledgeable, happy and friendly. Top experience for Sunday roast. I shall return!

Really great food! The fish and chips was lovely and the portion size was quite large. Would very much recommend.

I have never been so disappointed in the service I received as when I visited The Farrier for lunch this weekend. From the moment we arrived, the staff were rude and abrupt, shouting ‘everyone who has just come in go outside’ and ‘where is my iPad’ as the waitress looked for her booking system, treating us like it was our fault she had misplaced it. We were told our table was not ready and directed to buy a drink at the bar, our table was ready the whole time, so I assume this is just a ploy to encourage you to spend more money with them. Once our food arrived, we all mentioned how crunchy the potatoes were, my Yorkshire pudding was raw at the base and nut roast a horrible texture and flavour. My friend asked for Horseradish sauce, which never came. When we asked for the bill, it was thrown in front of us on the table by the waitress. I asked if we could remove the service charge where I was rudely answered with ‘is there a reason’. When I responded with the service hadn’t been great, she shrugged, didn’t say another word and threw the card machine onto the table. We wanted to split the bill in 2, which I asked for, and this seemed the biggest inconvenience she had ever received. Afterwards, I overheard her speaking to a colleague, only steps away from where I was stood, in disgust at how we had asked for the service charge to be removed. Again, something which is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. I asked to speak with a Manager who offered me a 10% discount on my next visit. He blamed the poor service on the fact it's Christmas and a busy period. As someone who works in the hospitality industry myself, I understand not everything runs smoothly and give people a lot of leeway, however the service we received at The Farrier was far from satisfactory and truly disappointing. I can assure you, I will never return to The Farrier.

Hier gaat iets mis... prima ontvanst. Het is vol voor de sunday roast. Vriendelijk personeel. Ons wordt dure bordeaux geadviseerd bij het rundvlees. We nemen de montepulciano. Ook Londense prijs. We zitten vlak bij de keuken, het ziet er gezellig en veelbelovend uit. Maar...het bord is koud, de jus is slap smakeloos en koud. De aardappelen zijn koud en oud, van de vorige dag? Yorkshire pudding ook van de vorige dag? Niet vers in ieder geval. Vlees? Ja natuurlijk ook koud als je hem op een bergje koude salade legt. Taai stuk ook. Nooit meer. Toeristen fabriek.
