I am very very disappointed and sad because the moody large woman barmaid was unveiled unfriendly and passive aggressive rude to my husband and I. I can said the she was racist person and she doesn’t like to serve to not English people, because she was very friendly with some white men whose arrived after us. I am really depress because of this incident. That barmaid, very large white women has ruined a birthday day. Please, if you are not English and white don’t go to this pub, become we are not welcome there. In addition to that it is the dirtiest pub I have ever been. That women is very very lazy and nasty. This pub because or her is -10

Was there for a couple of beers&drinks and watching some sport. Charming Pub with sport enthusiasm. They got a billiard table as well as a dart board, that's a huge plus. Lovely service at the bar. Love it there.

An authentic pub, visited by locals, with a lot of life. They serve you with affection and a very good disposition. Our London pub without a doubt.

Went here back in late February to watch a Utd game while I was visiting from Manchester, got chatting to some of the regulars and staff, everyone was mint, great atmosphere and top Guinness! Will definitely go in again next time I'm down from Manchester

We were staying in Kings Cross for one night before getting an early morning Eurostar train in nearby St Pancras. We wandered out looking for a quiet local pub and were lucky enough to stumble upon The Boot. Quite large, but completely unpretentious, with a friendly relaxed vibe. It was an unseasonably warm evening, doors open and the few outdoor tables hotly contested. We happily settled in at a table inside, just watching the good natured but still competitive darts match and listening to the banter.

Decent enough boozer - bit more for the lads lads lads than myself.

My old university hangout. A great, family owned, pub. They did loose their last chef about 1.5 years ago and the food quality has gone down a wee bit.

Staff largely absent. Filthy toilets. Won't be returning.

A really nice pub in Central London, that has a nice Irish / New York style. Also is good that this pub plays 80s music, has pool & dartsa and accepts both cash & card payments.... Btw this is what I call a real pub... 💯🎱🎯

It’s a pub….. nothing more nothing less. Guinness was good. The service was friendly- for a pint it will do. Negative- the smell of bleach was overwhelming throughout the whole pub. It was so strong it became overwhelming.

Just popped in for a pint, [less than a fiver!] and to watch some Champions League football. It was a relaxed student atmosphere, and they had a good selection of beers. It's an ideal spot for a relatively quiet beer when wanting to watch the football. Highly recommended if that's the vibe that you're after and I'll pop in again next time I'm down in the big smoke 👍🏾

A nearly 300 year old bar with friendly locals, darts and pool too. Drinks are cheap and it's a quaint spot.

Enjoyed a nice few pints at The Boot. Very friendly staff, very reasonably priced and a nice clean pub. Fully recommend it! Also a nice outside area too. What’s not to like!

The walls are covered in Gaelic football and Hurling shirts with Irish flag bunting behind the bar. There is plenty of the black stuff flowing in this Irish boozer and there is some hearty pub grub favourites available if your hungry. The clientele is mixed, from lads in high viz playing pool to office workers sitting around a table reflecting on a day at the office. The juke box is well used which adds to the feel of the place. Walked in Xmas day to find some sort of dinner/party going on. Door was unlocked, and lights were on. We were greeted with “Please get out of here”..? Lock the door if you’re closed… plenty of other pubs in the area to give your money to that are run by more pleasant people

Never even got my beer here. Only two ales on normally, both standard ales, and both having their pipes cleaned? Not an ale pub really. Not on my list of pub crawl visits anymore. Shame but gets low star for this alone.

Great Traditional British Pub with Irish heritage.Landlady is soooo friendly and welcoming..makes great chilli con carne IMHO.The locals are sometimes spirited but great fun to be around and so friendly ..close to King's Cross and Euston Rail and Underground stations .I had a chat with the glass collector and he treated me like family....highly recommend this Pub

I was looking for a good pint of Guinness around Kings Cross. Unfortunately, I didn't find it here - Wasn't as creamy as I'd have liked and the head didn't cling to the glass while I drank it. However, the service was good and the lady behind the ramp was very pleasant on a sunny Wednesday afternoon. I'd visit again but would try something else

Haven’t been to this pub but my son works locally & popped in for a pint with his team mates after a post work game of football. Had his bag stolen, which had his laptop and air-pods. Can happen anywhere so just keep an eye on your personal belongings in here

Popped in after dinner and found it to be a proper old-school locals' pub, this was on a Friday, and it was very lively and jovial in there! Lovely friendly landlady (it's so nice to be called "darlin'" when you order, just like the good old days), and friendly people (some girls dancing about came over to me and my g/f just to say cheers to us and clink glasses).

Always a good place for a drink. Nice pool table and jukebox is a plus. Staff friendly.

Le pub en lui même est plutôt sympathique mais la serveuse était complètement désagréable. Elle parlait froidement, levait les yeux au ciel quand on lui posait une question et donnait l'impression d'être dérangée par nos demandes.

Needed food after getting off the train ended up here after ignoring the chain pubs in the area. Absolutely outstanding roast dinner for £14.95 you don’t get value like that in central london considering the quality you get. Brilliant pub pool table jukebox and a pint is around a fiver for these parts that’s also very good. Can’t recommend it enough.

Excellent Sunday roast. Great choice of meat, huge portions and all obviously home cooked. Fantastic value for money. Highly recommend

Great place, Sharon the owner is very welcoming came down to London for the weekend and Rugby league challenge Cup and she, and her staff looked after everyone in the place.

Looks a bit of a dive from the outside, we were unsure whether to bother but had seen good reviews on here so went in. Inside was totally different. Nice pub feel, and the bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Don't be put off.
