Had breakfast here the other day with my dad and oh my god it was something else 😍😍 food was piping hot and the quality is fantastic, staff are really nice , my first time visiting was as if id been there hundreds of times , would definitely recommend 😀Yum 😋

Very noisy environment, food very dissatisfied, chicken tough as boots, peppercon saouce ive had nicer from a packet, Slamannan burnt, all in all poor value for money 💰 won't be returning.

Amazing family orientated bar and restaurant. Superb food and plenty of it. Happy staff who are friendly and can't do enough for the customer. Dog friendly too and a superb beer garden and park for the children during nice weather. Definitely recommend this place.

Very happy with food and service, we had a table reservation and altered it twice with no problem, double birthday celebration on a Sunday, brought our own birthday cakes, lunch was lovely like home cooked and very good value for money, 1 2 or 3 course all for less than £10 would highly recommend

We just popped in for lunch, was not disappointed after a check with the kitchen to check availability 2 of us went for Gammon and chips, 1 had lasagne. No complaints at all .All the food cooked fresh great straight out of kitchen to table not kept under heat lamps like you see in bigger chain restaurants. Will certainly recommend to friends.

Nice place, reasonably priced and, most importantly, has a beer garden with play apparatus so the kids can blow off some steam while you have a pint. There's an artificial football pitch / basketball court at the back. So plenty for the little ones occupy themselves with. Needs a bit of a refurb, though. The goals are busted up, and the overhead net designed to keep the ball in the area, and not sailing into your drinks, are torn up. Not the biggest range of beer on tap, but it's not a big pub. They do sell food, but didn't try it so cannot comment.

Unfortunately we wentvwhen there was a large funeral, so staff who were really lovely were worried that we wouldn't have their full attention. It was too hot eat that day, but the coke with ice went down a treat. Would go again, because it had been recommended for lunch. X

Great family pub and fantastic food

Tonight myself, wife and 5 year decided last minute to go to the farmers for food. My wife had the king prawn linguine which was delicious, I had chicken curry with rice, they don't do half and half, so I ordered a side of chips. My daughter had a child's potion of chicken nuggets and chips. The service was excellent and the food was really good and excellent value for money. So why only 4 stars I hear you ask, I dropped a star because my daughter received frozen chips, my side order of chips where real chips and stunning they were to. We will be back and I encourage anyone you hasn't been to the farmers to go, you will not be disappointed.

Great local pub, huge play area

11 of us have visited today and had the most delicious Sunday lunch. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection and the staff were so friendly they are an credit to your team. The kids were thrilled with the outdoor playarea what an amazing added bonus! We will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic meal with great service. Order for a family of 4 meal, child's meals were very generous and good value for price. Adults had 10oz sirloin both cook amazingly! over heard that they had a new chef. First time there and definitely not my last time either.

Food was sooo good! Children eat for £1.50 with every full paying adult and even their meals are a decent size. Great outside play areas for kids. Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon.

Very tasty and great value Sunday lunch. Was surprised to find 3 veggie options for Sunday lunch as well as the meats. Kids loved the outside play areas. Was only surprised that I couldn't see even one staff member with a mask or shield - not sure whether or not it's mandatory but it's the only restaurant/pub I've been in lately where the staff didn't have any kind of face covering 🤷‍♀️

Visited at 2.30pm. I ordered fish & chips. The fish was grey and the batter dark brown and well overcooked.

This was my first visit, probably won't bother again. Nice enough pub but not impressed with the food. I doubt much if what we had was actually prepared at the pub, except the chips, peas and maybe the mash. My shank of lamb was fatty and served in a soup/pasta bowl swimming in a fatty mint and vinegar gravy which drowned the mash and peas. My wife's lasagne was greasy and obviously just warmed up. Other meals served to the family were pretty basic. Staff were pleasant, not overly enthusiastic or helpful. Lots of children running from the play area past the restaurant area to their parents in the bar, a bit noisy. Generally not value for money but probably great for the locals. Car park was also a bit cramped and dark.

Having heard of its reputation, we invited friends to join us for lunch. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good selection on the menu. We weren't disappointed! Food was excellent. Service was quick. Their apple pie, well, the proof is in the eating! Highly recommended.

This afternoon was our third time visiting the farmers, each time we’ve eaten here the food is delicious! Everything is perfectly cooked and the flavouring of each dish is perfect (especially steak pie and beef casserole). The staff are very friendly, approachable and make you feel at ease. On two occasions we’ve tried the cheesecake and it is yummy We eat out regularly and would highly recommend....

Went as a family of 4 on Sunday the food was really nice. But the service was slow the lady said they were short staffed on the day so cant say if its always like this as it's my first time ther . but would definitely recommend the Sunday lunch top quality and loads of trimmings

Went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was really nice. Along with the main menu there is a specials board which is worth looking at. Treat for families as the prices are very reasonable and you get good portions. Car park is a bit tight and not lit so be careful in the dark. Would recommend.

Another excellent meal served in pleasant surroundings by friendly staff. Our pizzas were delicious and very plentiful - so much so that, unfortunately, we just couldn't manage a sweet !! We look forward to another visit.

Frozen chips not very attractive plate of food

Was here recently and the pub + staff are really nice. 1st time we visited the food was amazing but this time i wasn't as impressed at all. My sweet chilli chicken glaze was just sauce poured over, no flavour + the potion was small. My husband said his mixed grill was ok not brilliant but the others with us enjoyed their farmhouse chicken.

I rang this venue the day before, to find out if the food was homemade, the lady said all homemade and the chips.

Disappointed in the food there was 5 adults and 5 kids kids food was ok .my lasagne was discusting it had mash potatoes on it instead of pasta sheets .and expensive for where it is

Have been here on many occasions.have enjoyed food everytime and have not had any complaints. Staff are always super friendly and there to help if it's needed. I've always had to ask what certain things are and if the waitress doesn't already know then it's not too much trouble for them to find out. The place is also very clean and tidy which is a big thing for me. Not one complaint yet so keep up the fab work. We will be back.
