We called into the cafe on a wet and windy morning. We only wanted a snack and the lovely staff split a toasted sandwich and gave us both the excellent coleslaw and salad garnish. Carrot cake to follow and lovely cup of coffee.

What a great find. We were doing the Downs Breezer Open Top Bus Tour and hopped off at Bembridge. The café above the health food shop was a delight. I had sticky gingerbread and my husband had a Halloumi and salad baguette and both were delicious, as was was the coffee. Very friendly staff. Lovely decor. Highly recommend.

Lovely little shop well stocked , good selection of local produce and friendly service. I was disappointed because I paid 4 pounds for a small white tin loaf (not picked myself I asked the lady for her recommendation) and at that price I'd expect it to have been freshly baked that morning and after getting it home and cutting it up it clearly wasn't.

Brilliant gem of a cafe. Well worth a visit to anyone visiting the isle. Popped in for lunch. Tables for around 10 people and we timed it just right. Sandwiches/baguette/panini with four choices of filling and some lovely cakes. Worth a visit wherever you're based when visiting.

This is a lovely farm shop which I frequent for their good range of products. I also appreciate their rules of only allowing one/two in the shop at any one time. However, what I don't appreciate is the frequent occurance of 'locals' pushing past the queue saying 'I just need to talk to Jane(?) and going straight in. This has now happened twice to me leaving the people in the queue having to wait while the 'local' has her chat with Jane which is not usually about the shop.

The cafe was closed when we visited but the farm shop has really nice produce - fresh looking fruit and vegetables and home made sausage rolls and cakes. You may have to wait a while as only one person is allowed in the shop at a time. Bembridge is a pretty village with a few nice shops and a pleasant beach nearby which was very popular with dog walkers.

Had quiche and salad and partner had the scrambled egg on toast, food was tasty but tiny portions for price. Our table never got cleaned when we first sat down, had to ask for cutlery. Table service would be better as tiny place and when queuing at the till we got ignored along with other people we watched queuing, no one seemed to want to serve they ignored people queuing. Shame as we did like the quirkiness of place.

We were in the area on holiday and had done a walk from nearby ST Helens. Many places were closed as it was Sunday morning but, although the shop was closed, there was a rear entrance to the cafe upstairs. We had a very good coffee and slice of cake each, which was excellent. Many people were having breakfasts, which were being cooked to order and looked very good too.

What a great place. Delicious, freshly made vegetarian savouries and fabulous home made cakes, featuring local ingredients and produce from the delightful shop downstairs. We only meant to stop for a cup of tea but ended up seduced by the food we saw and worked our way through delicious carrot fritters, a brie open toasted sandwich and several kinds of cake. It was just lovely to overhear the staff talking to one another about their baking with real passion and enthusiasm.

If you're passing through Bembridge on Sunday, don't be put off by the closed Farm Shop: the cafe upstairs will be open until 1pm. My friends and I found our way to the back entrance, climbed the steep staircase, and had a thoroughly enjoyable plate of eggs on toast with coffee: just right to give us the energy to continue our journey round the island on two wheels. The roast vegetables also look good, and the cafe caters to a variety of dietary needs. Thoroughly recommended.

Sorry to be a party pooper, but we arrived just after a party of four who had ordered breakfast and waited about half hour to receive our coffee. Coffee was fine, but seemed to take a very long time. The lady taking the orders and cooking / serving the food was most apologetic for the food delays, which was not a problem, until when it arrived it seemed not to warrant the amount of time it took, if that makes sense! Expensive too, so probably will not be back. Only went here because we could not get a seat in the Bembridge Bakery opposite. Sorry, wanted to be impressed!

WOW . This cafe is a gem. It is very hard to find somewhere to eat if you are a vegetarian that serves food besides mushroom risotto and all the other standard boring vege options. This Cafe has cracked it . Not only does it serve quality organic vege/vegan friendly dishes you can also buy in the shop below quality fresh veg , cakes, breads and a whole range of organic tinned, packaged and fresh sundries. The staff are lovely friendly and passionate about what they cook and are happy to talk to you about the dishes they serve up and cook themselves. It is a small cafe and that adds to its uniqueness. A lovely all day breakfast cooked fresh and with love. Their Homidy Pie was delicious , a mouth watering lunch. A lovely addition to our village.

Stopped for a cream tea which the wife enjoyed. Usual 2 scones provided with jam and clotted cream and a good pot of tea. They normally do Gluten Free cream tea but due to high demand had sold out of GF scones. They were however able to supply GF cheese scones so I had a savoury version of cream tea, 2 GF cheese scones, a tomato chutney and a cream cheese. Was very nice and would recommend.

Stopped here for tea and we're so glad we did. Loose leaf tea in a china tea pot (not one of those awful stainless steel ones that dribbles all over the table), a tea strainer, china cups and saucers and a china milk jug - this is how tea should be served. The Bakewell slice and chocolate cake were both delicious and the portions very generous. The friendly welcome and engaging staff added to the enjoyment. Looking forward to the next visit.
