sadly they got rid of the bar billiards table . its was a defining feature in an otherwise bog standard pub.

I went there with a large group. There was plenty of room for us all (20 people). Decent beers available. We were made very welcome. I'd be happy to return.

Warmest welcome, but the least atmosphere of Thame's pubs. Shame.

The pub is more of a local pub than a place to drop in if you're passing through or staying in the area. Clean and tidy.....toilets seen better days. A couple of picnic tables out front to take your drinks but it is on a main (but not particularly busy) road. The woman behind the bar was polite but not at all welcoming.....too busy chatting to the locals about a local to take interest in a boring, visiting couple such as ourselves.
