Lovely pub with very friendly staff and a good range of food. Sadly my wife's chicken pie was somewhat lacking in chicken, but it other meals were fine. Good portion sizes and fairly priced. Will definitely be visiting again.

Have cancelled the booking I had for a large party due to the complete lack of communication. I have phoned over 20 times to ask some questions as the booking is for a big birthday & it is never answered. I have also emailed several times with no response and my Facebook messenger message has been read and ignored.

The atmosphere here at Christmas time is amazing. I love the Christmas trees next to beautiful Victorian decorations, completed with the fireplace in the centre of the main room. Food is always delicious. The staff is really friendly. Thank you for a lovely Christmas dinner.

First time visiting here and we were so impressed! Great atmosphere, fab staff and yummy food. Really appreciated the vegan and gluten free options.

Met friends for lunch (we have gluten free and vegetarian needs!) and we were blown away by the choice of GF and veggie options on the menu. The food was amazing - service and staff great. It was so atmospheric with the twinkly lights, fire and Christmas decos - a perfect experience, thank you!

On every occasion we have visited The Falcon for a meal, we really have had excellent service, the quality of the food is always absolutely first class, and all the staff we have met are, without exception, both very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

This was a bad experience, after several better ones. We were a table of 8 and in a side room with nobody else and zero atmosphere. The waitress was increasingly disinterested, and by the time we got to desserts, she shoved all the menus from the top of the table. It was so rude, we had to laugh. One of the mains came out 10 minutes later than the others. The wait for drinks was long. They seemed to have enough staff, but obviously struggle to motivate them.

Enjoyed with our friends. Good food. Like the way they handle French fries and chips.

The Falcon is probably our family favourite place to eat out. Kind of like our 'For Birthdays' type of place. The food is first and foremost absolutely delicious and always served really quickly. The service team are always a delight but this time we had a chap called Lochie and he was 10/10 excellent. Friendly, chatty (but not too chatty), warm and welcoming. Thank you to everyone at The Falcon, keep up the great work.

It's usually a good sign when the pub car park is close to full and it's 2:00 pm on a gloomy Tuesday. We found a big sprawling pub with a great feel to it - friendly staff and customers, with a comfortable buzz of conversation in the main bar area. We were given a table in a lovely alcove that was a little more private for the needs of the tiny baby in our party but still very connected to the rest of the pub. Service was a little slow but this seemed to be due to a combination of staff sickness and cover during half-term holidays. The food was very good and worth the wait, not a crumb was left. Complimentary flapjack was provided with after dinner drinks for the slow service - there had been no complaints from any of us, this was just a really nice gesture from people who clearly care about what they do. We all really enjoyed our visit.

We can't speak to highly of The Falcon... we spent a very enjoyable hour or two there today. (26/10/24) We had the pleasure of the lovely, and friendly Mel serving us and taking our orders. They make the most perfect G+T's , and our meal was perfect, delicious and gluten free.my dessert of hot drink ( mine was a delicious flat white), and a small dessert of chocolate brownie,rich chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream . Again , gluten free and simply heaven on a plate!! Even though the restaurant was very busy, Mel was always on hand to check we had everything we needed. Our time there today was perfect, and in fact it is everytime we go there, for birthdays and family get-to-gethers, and the service and meals we enjoy are consistantly of a high quality and great value. Hope to be back soon!!!

One of the best Sunday lunches I've had, good staff,great ales and wine. Lovely Atmosphere. Well worth going. (Book in advance. Had a recent visit back to Falcon on a Monday lunch had the Fish & Chips idid not think it was worth the £17.45 they charged.

Great place recomend and easy to book in advance. Only fault was being sat by an outside door on a wet day where smokers went out to have a drag, annoying for a life time non smoker.

Booked a table for 8 people to celebrate my husbands birthday. Promptly served with drinks and food order taken. Delicious roasts ordered by all although the Yorkshire puddings were all cold but upon remarking to waiter, they were taken away and fresh hot ones supplied with sincere apologies. The meals were absolutely yummy and a huge portion. It was very busy and the staff were all working incredibly hard but we still felt attended to and we had a wonderful time. We would definitely come back for another Sunday lunch as was by far the best we’ve had in a very long time.

There were 4 of us & two very well behaved dogs my family had come up from the coast to visit so I had booked the table 6 weeks before as I knew I could be confident my family would get a good meal. The Meal & Service was Excellent despite it being very very busy we were served very quickly and the meals came very quickly. The Dogs were given Dog Bowls with fresh Cold water & we were asked if the Dogs could have a Dog Treat which was lovely. The Pet Friendly area is really nice it's open, spacious & well ventilated I will definitely be going back soon for Lunch. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get what you pay for an excellent meal, service etc.

We didn't have a booking. My Dad and I had tried to telephone a couple of times that morning but the phone didn't answer. We got there however and despite them being so busy, they found us a table really quickly. I had the roast beef and Dad had the roast lamb - both were delicious - staff were attentive and seemed happy - looks like a great employer Will be back and thank you

Great food as always. Waitress staff very pleasant with a smile, however bar staff need to listen, (a) when you say no ice (b) when you say only half fill with a mixer (c) having to ask for slice of lemon. Disappointing on that side of it, also make bar staff member when bringing second replacement drink slammed glass on table with a grunt, not acceptable.

Came across The Falcom whilst on holiday so called in for lunch. What a delightful place. Welcoming and warm atmosphere, a wide range of drinks available and an interesting lunch menu all served by very attentive staff, in our case, the very lovely June. Plenty of parking available and a choice of places to sit whilst enjoying a drink or/ and a meal.

This is a gorgeous pub, really friendly staff and the food is well worth the price, would always recommend this pub to anyone in the area

An extremely poor night rescued only by the lovely waitress Belle. Lengthy wait for drinks and food. Three starters ordered to come together with main dishes yet 2 of which came as starters and one halfway through main course. Had to ask for heating to be put on as we were seated by a door. One vegan main, which was the obligatory curry (not all vegans eat curry) . No discount offered. But, Belle was lovely

We booked for a Thursday night and the place was buzzing and full of diners. Even on a dark, wet, autumn evening so that was a good sign. We were seated in a quiet corner and served promptly. The menu was varied and when the food came it was beautifully presented and ever so tasty. The desserts were fabulous too. Highly recommend. If we are in the area again we will definitely go back.

After visiting their neighbours across the road our children were quite hungry and it was already 1:30ish. Stopped at the The falcon for lunch, it was very busy. Looked outside for some seating but every table and a reserved sign on. Went inside and a few tables had no reserved sign, so we can weren’t sure if they were booked. We sat down and my husband went to the bar to double check we can sit there and if not if they had any available tables. The hostess or whatever she was came over and started off nice and polite but as soon as she realised we had just sat down even though I tried to explain she rudely and loudly, other people at other tables started looking at us, told me we couldn’t sit there and to get up! I stayed seated until my husband came and said the lovely fellow at the bar said they have a table for us. She was rude and could have dealt with it better. I didn’t want to have lunch there after that but my kids needed food and home was an hour away. All the other staff are so lovely. Also, fix your cracked toilet seat! It pinched my daughters leg!

Once a discrepancy with our order was realised by staff, they rectified the circumstances immediately and the manager organised a fair discount too. The food presented was simply delicious 😋

Lovely pub with fantastic views across the valley. Loads of outdoor seating and some of it covered. Sizable indoor seating area with a lovely atmosphere. Good range of beer and cider. Friendly staff. Lovely spot to spend a sunny summer afternoon with friends.

Food was amazing and filling. Issue with the service as it took 70 minutes to get our food due to our order not making it to the kitchen (we understand). However, an accommodation for this delay was made on our bill and the manager was very understanding.

A nice place outside the city... Large car park. Plenty of space inside and a garden. Bbq acct I found a small selection. Food good+ Animals inside

Could not fault a single thing.

I’ve come here several times as it’s a good meeting point between Birmingham/London and the food is usually amazing. Today it wasn’t as good. The beef wasn’t pink as stated on the menu and the hot waffle dessert was microwaved. Not a deal breaker, but slightly disappointing considering the great experiences I’ve had prior.

The food and atmosphere is lovely. I highly recommend coming for a visit. We was served by kelly. She was very friendly and welcoming. We felt she went put her way to make sure we was comfortable and happy.

Varied menu and reasonably priced for food. Belly pork was tasty but a little tough. My husband said his battered fish was outstanding. Dessert was amazing (chocolate brownie). Didn't skimp on the chocolate sauce. Service reasonable for a busy place, friendly and helpful. Drink prices equated to London prices. One small glass of small house wine and one soft drink =£12.75 but 5 miles away pub was £9.10 for a brandy & coke & pint of local beer.

It was my daughter's 23rd birthday, which meant all the family, all 8 of us. Booked the table for 6 and while we waited for other family to turn up we sat in the beautiful garden! The views across the countryside were stunning. We all enjoyed a mixed range of mains and they were all generous and well cooked. The staff are friendly and very attentive. I fully recommend this pub/ restaurant and will definitely go back again. Thanks to you all for making our visit one we will not forget. Lou. 💖

We met a friend for lunch, half-way between our homes. It was great to see so many vegan options on the menu. Our mains were a curry and the small plate risotto and both were delicious. The side salad needed some dressing, hence 4 stars for food. Beautifully furnished pub. Lots of space between tables. Very friendly, helpful staff. Dog friendly. It's not local to us but we have arranged another two visits already! On one of our road trips and for Christmas (and, yep, it is only April!!)

Was invited to have a meal at this pub for my sisters birthday and could not fault the food or the service. They have outside eating aswell as inside and there are some fantastic views at the rear of rolling farmlands.

This is the second time my wife and I have visited, and its fast becoming our favourite. The place is lovely, a really interesting décor, everything is spotlessly clean. The staff are just so friendly and super efficient, they always make you feel so welcome. The food is to die for and the menu is varied and caters for anyone's taste, and even when they are busy the table service is fast but you never feel rushed. Lovely place, 11 out of 10.

Nothing on the menu will blow you away. Amazing setting, ok food. Wasn't upset with the price paid at £30 per head for 7 adults & 3 kids drinking a mix of soft, beer & wine over 2 courses with service charge applied. Would go again, wouldn't rush back.

A lovely atmosphere and great food- I had the crispy beef salad, yummy! It was lovely to just relax and not feel rushed whilst we chatted away and surrounded by wonderful views. FAB shout out to our wonderfully helpful, friendly and efficient server called Elliot. He was a star!!!!

Very busy pub, mainly diners. I would describe it as a "modern traditional" style. Lots of family meets, people mostly smartly dressed too (Sunday visit). Didn't eat but menu looked substantial, food smelled and looked good too.

Went for drinks so can’t speak for the food, however we saw some dishes and they looked lovely! We came here because we saw good reviews for dogs, and so glad we did! They were so welcoming do our pup and gave her lots of love and treats. Beautiful pub! Friendly staff! Highly recommend!

Myself together with my Son, Daughter-in-law, Grandson and his Girlfriend went to dinner here on recommendation. On arrival we were all very impressed with the layout, decor and ambience. The staff were very polite, extremely welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. We welcomed and shown to our table. The tables are laid out quite far apart allowing for a feeling of privacy which was really nice. Their knowledge on dietry requirements is excellent and both the food menu and drinks offered excellent Gluten Free options. I have Coeliac Disease and the drinks on offer are great. I had a Purity Pure Helles tap lager with lemonade as a shandy, which was really light and tasted fab. As well as being Gluten Free it is also Vegan. For food I chose the Braised shoulder of lamb, minted new potatoes, seasonal vegetables and rosemary gravy. My Grandson's Girlfriend also had this. It was beautifully cooked, there was loads of meat on the bone, which just fell apart. It was tender and delicious. It was served with plenty of fresh vegetables and new potatoes. The Rosemary gravy was yummy. My Daughter-in-law had the Caramelised pork belly, ham knuckle fritter, apple purée, calvados and summer greens. She thoroughly enjoyed the pork belly, which was cooked to perfection and the vegetables, but was very disappointed that there were no new potatoes to accompany the dish, so was left not fully satisfied. My Son and Grandson both chose the Steak burger, beer onions, grilled pancetta, Monterey Jack, spiced tomato mayonnaise, fries. In comparison with the other dishes the portion size was extremely small. The small portion of fries was average at best. They were very basic small chips, when lovely chunky, home cooked chips would have been much better, together with a much larger portion. Whilst very tasty, the burger was again somewhat small in size. Beer battered onion rings would have been excellent to accompany this dish. They were both very underwhelmed with this dish. After dinner I had a Latte which came with a couple of small pieces of Gluten Free flapjack which was very tasty. This was a nice touch.

We absolutely loved this pub. The choice of food was first class and a good choice for the two vegan family members with us. So delicious and well presented-cannot fault anything. It's a Brunning and Price establishment so you expect top quality and the Falcon didn't disappoint. Big pub with a lovely feel to it. Well laid out beer garden and plenty of room for kids to play without getting trodden on. Fantastic views across the Warwickshire shire countryside on a sunny afternoon. Service was friendly and efficient, food was spot on. It's a bit dearer than bog standard pub grub, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

I had lunch at the Falcon and was so impressed with my whole experience. I am allergic to wheat and a vegetarian and that combination usually makes it very difficult to find anything delicious to eat on a menu but at the Falcon I was spoilt for choice, the food was delicious. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the place itself is beautiful and spotlessly clean. I will definitely be back for more. Thank you to all the staff for all your hard work.

Turned up late in the day on a Sunday afternoon and whilst the car park was full, managed to find a place to park, and more surprisingly they had a table for 2. So glad they did. The food was wonderful. Well worth a visit, I would recommend booking in advance - you won't be disappointed.

Great little country pub the staff are really nice and helpful. The atmosphere is great and the food was amazing. Don't like the overflow carpark but shows a good pub if it's packed out.

Ate here while visiting family in nearby Banbury. Food was tasty and service was excellent considering it was a busy Saturday night. Lovely pub that serves good food, and knows how to look after their customers. We didn't spend much time outside, but there seemed to be lots of space, green areas and plenty of benches.

Lovely place in a great setting and the food is really delicious. The service, however, was pretty bad which spoilt our visit this time. Maybe it was a Monday lunch thing but despite being really quiet it was almost impossible to find any staff and we were left waiting for long periods. We wanted to have a dessert but it go so ridiculous that we walked to the bar to pay and went elsewhere for pudding!

We booked for two at 17:45 to be sat outside under the canopy, the weather was beautiful and sunny. We went to the bar to get sat and were quickly seated and drinks offered. Drinks order was taken and took around ten minutes to get delivery. We ordered the Sunday roast beef and the Sunday mixed roast of beef and pork with the trimmings. On Sundays the roast is traditionally served from open to 17:30 in the afternoon, and if there is spare meat it is then served onwards from 17:30 until they run out, I believe. Regretfully it wasn’t worth having it after 17:30 as we appeared to get the lesser quality bits of meat. The pork was quite fatty and the beef quite chewy, lacking flavour and was not cooked fully to pink but slightly over what the menu read. The carrot, singular, was nice, however just one carrot felt like I was not getting my moneys worth. The roast potatoes were also poor, essentially new potatoes cooked in oil so the outside was slightly crispy, but the inside did not have the ideal fluffiness of a quality roast potato. The stuffing was strange but not necessarily bad. All the other vegetables just seemed to be cabbage, kale and onion, which was disappointing. Plates were cleared fifteen minutes after we had finished. Additional drinks, which were turned down, and pudding, which were taken up, were offered. We had the waffles and the sticky toffee pudding, both of which were delicious. The waitress who served us was great and welcoming could not fault her. 🟦 The Falcon unfortunately does not accept American Express credit cards.

Had a lovely lunch on Father's day 2024, Anthony served us and was an absolute delight, they were very busy, being Father's day, but he kept us up to date with our order and was charming, whilst also professional. Its a lovely place with amazing staff 100% from me

My first time here. Shared a chicken liver pate starter which was lovely and perhaps needed one more piece of toast. However the Thai Red Fish Curry was very disappointing at over £21 with very little flavour to it and not a lot of rice. Two mussels (one unopened) but plenty of other fish items. The biggest shock of the night came with the bill which included a £13 charge for a single large glass of Rioja. The wine menu only contained prices for 125 ml glasses. Staff were friendly and service quite good for what is quite a large place.
