Popped in for coffee, hot chocs and a pastie in the morning - all delicious and lovely service. Then came back in the afternoon for tea and ice creams after coming back from Lynmouth. Really lovely place, thanks.

Delightful cream tea, one of the best I've ever eaten anywhere in the South West. Quite cosy, clean & good service. Just under £7 for very nice scone including a pot of tea.

Cornish traditional pasty ( in Devon think 🤔) was tasty with crisps and salad. Staff were polite and helpful 👍 Clean throughout 👌 We had tea and coffee ☕️ to drink. They did forget the table water, though.

To be fair we only had tea and coffee but the food looked very good. Bear in mind that they only have full fat milk in case you are intolerant.

My wife and I called here for a quick coffee and light lunch before moving on to visit nearby Lynmouth. The welcome was cheery enough and the coffee hot and good quality, if a bit overpriced at £3.75. I did at first fancy a Cornish pasty until I saw the prices at £7.75 which is way over the top, compared to the . We settled for a sausage roll each but even these were expensive at £4.95.

After taking the railway up the cliff, we called at the Exmoor Escape cafe. It's just on the left at the top of the cliff as you walk down the lane. Ian, a fellow Northerner, owns it with his wife. Ian is a hive of information, who's photography is on the walls, his wife does all the baking, and her carrot cake and scones are to die for, so moist and fresh. The coffee was piping hot and lovely and creamy. He can direct you to lots and lots of places of interest, some which are not so well known. We will certainly be sharing this info with our VW group.

Amazing place! Lovely decor and very friendly staff. We had the meal deal which is amazing value for a great tasting pasty (served with salad and crisps) and a full cream tea for £13. Kids had ice cream which was also very high quality. All round good quality food at a great price and a very nice place to stop for a while. Would definitely recommend!

Thought I had found a great Gluten free find with a small selection of gluten free pasties. Had one which did taste great as far as gluten free goes. However, I’ve been poorly since. Definitely not a gluten free pastie or has been contaminated in a very bad way. Still in agony hours later!

Worst pastie ever. Pork & apple with a tiny piece of meat and undercooked soggy pastry - it was a huge disappointment at the end of a long walk.

My first time in wolferstan arms yesterday and I was actually pretty impressed 👌🏻 I thought it's just a pub grub it will be like the rest BUT it was actually so much better and also the price range was good for how tasty the food is. 2 things that let it down slightly but it's only minor things and it happens. 1. The food took a little long for how few people there was in there and 2. My pudding wasn't 100%. BUT as being said not every trip will be perfect wherever you go. So thank-you for some amazing food and definitely will be stopping by again.

We waited for over 10 minutes to be served but nobody was there. We could hear people talking/calling from the back room. We had to leave without being served. Will not be returning.

I wanted a plate of food and a pint after a long day - staying nearby where could I go? To be fair the information available on the web is minimal ( different names, locations etc) but as within walking distance of where I was staying thought I would give it a go. Not disappointed, great selection of good honest pub food at decent prices with a nice selection of draft pints available - again at decent prices! Scampi & chips + a pint of Thatchers exactly what I wanted and I couldn’t have asked for better,,,,, It’s now called The Bulls Head!!
