110 % thanks Adele for u and your staff looking after us all today ... u made my dad's 80th birthday... sorry I didn't get chance to thank you in person ... but taxi came quicker than expected... meals were fantastic and all our lot enjoyed it ... that's 11 adults n 1 extremely picky child who gave u a 2x thumbs up ( top marks luv )

The food in here is really good, the only downside is it's a small place so if you go here on the weekend with the family it maybe hard to find space for everyone to sit together.

Nice pub , good food though a pretty considerable wait the staff were very apologetic and were accommodating with our request to move tables and sang to my sister on her birthday. Thanks for a nice evening .

El Chef y su Staff necesitan un cumplido en proporcionar una variedad de platos a 8 personas que aparecen a la vez y todos tienen diferentes opciones. Este es nuestro 3er visitante al Everest y nunca hemos dejado de apreciar todo, desde el precio, la calidad e incluso el tamaño de los platos!

Recommended by a friend for Sunday lunch. Didn’t disappoint. Lots of lovely food, we had the roast beef. Fabulous staff and great service. Good value for money. What’s not to like. Will be back

Great atmosphere. The tables were very clean and tidy. The food was good everyones arrived at the same time even though we all had different things it was piping hot. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be visiting again.

Really nice local, large interior with well appointed decor and friendly staff. Decent selection of beers and other drinks. Definitely recommend if in the area as the options in Handsworth are now limited.

Modern pub. Good bar and good food

I often call in mid week for a meal which are good value and nicely cooked.Adele the landlady when she is not to busy will sit next to me and we have some lovely chats.The pub is very cosy and family friendly and is a credit to handsworth. The day I was in a funeral lunch was being prepared, Adele had prepared and set up the buffet herself and what a great job she had made of it. Great pub.

Very friendly staff you can eat in or take out

Great place, lovely staff, the food is class, would highly recommend if you are going for some food and drinks around handsworth. It is head and shoulders above sword dancer and the winter green. Not been in for an evening drink for a while so can't give any feedback on that but I will try and get down soon to see what it is like.

Very impressed after a family Sunday meal together. Nice place, well maintained and very clean. Pleasant friendly staff, nice beer, very good food. One of those gems situated on an estate that has to be beyond the norm to be successful. It'll definitely be a preferred choice again when I'm in the area.

The staff were amazing could not do enough for you the food was amazing and so hot when it came i had steak sandwich and the sandwich was full of hot meat and was beautiful the pub was so clean and l felt lovely light and aiirey fantastic experience

Great pub situated in middle of a nice housing area. Can't fault this establishment, there products are good and inside looking good and plenty of outside seating if we have a summer.

To all the staff who work in the pub I just wanted to say a big Massive thank you for organising the small room inside the pub to celebrate my mum’s 60th birthday. The way the buffet was lay out was fantastic the pub staff were friendly, helpful and nice. Also thank you very much for organising the DJ with the best songs I’ve ever heard of my mum had the greatest night and time of life.

I must have gone to a different place than the one everyone else has reviewed. Went here for midweek lunch. Nobody around to greet or serve us. I ordered a veggie burger, hardly any veggie options. It was bone dry. No cheese, sauce, mayo etc. Bun stale. Totally flavourless. Poor quality beers and service mediocre. Embarrassing that I recommended it to the group based on the rating!

Lovely trendy pub with great decor and reasonably priced food and drink. My partner and I ordered steak from a great menu and it was cooked to perfection beautifully by the chef. The service from the friendly bar staff and management was excellent and made us feel very welcome and we will be visiting this little gem regularly .

Had lunch here today,what a lovely friendly pub. Dave ordered our meals a fish platter and chicken curry we didn't realise they have offer on Monday to Wednesday 50% of all meals!!! Until the end of February. Both meals excellent and the landlady very friendly. Will certainly return soon.☆☆☆☆☆☆

Attended Janet's 60th birthday party Saturday 5th of Feb Adel and team put on magnificent buffet +dj every one had a most enjoyable evening. Highly recomended👍

The Inn itself is attractive with a kids play area outside, inside the decor is homely and would suit most people's tastes, Adele the Landlady was very friendly as well as the rest of the staff, in particular the head chief George, who came out and asked how our meals were. Oh and talking about the meals, WOW, I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I've had for a very long time, tasty, presented beautifully and with just the right amount on the plate. The price was also excellent for what you get. Overall a great place to go as a couple or with the kids on a nice day. Will be coming back again soon.

Been visiting for just over a year now and I’m never failed by the service I receive here. Adele is amazing in everything she does and all the staff always go above and beyond. This place is spotless and the atmosphere is great! Very friendly and welcoming to all. All the food here is stunning and fresh! All the staff always go that extra mile. Keep up the hard work and will be back to visit shortly! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I was not happy about this place due to one thing !!! They aren’t child friendly well if you consider 13 and 15 year olds had to be out of the pub by 9pm when the function only started at 7.30 then avoid this place. I went to celebrate my nephews 18th birthday party with family and a couple of his friends and at 9pm was told that no children under 18 was allowed to stay at the party which was in a separate room at the back even if they were with parents !!!! So you can imagine the brother and sister was distraught at having to leave the party which they had been looking forward to for weeks after only being there for one and a half hours!!!! Not only that the mum would have to leave her own sons party to look after the other 2 !!!! Had she had known this at the time she would have booked some where else !!!! Only found out the day before about this !! So I offered to take the 2 children home so mum and dad could celebrate with there son so he was disappointed too !!) so 1 aunty and 2 children very disappointed that after one and a half hours had to leave also bare in mind aunty lives in chesterfield too !!! So all I would say is this place is fine if you don’t want children at your functions !!!! I do find it strange though that you can go in any pub under 16 as long as you don’t drink and you are with a adult !!! And you also work in a pub collecting glasses under 16 too so I don’t know why this pub has these rules it would be good to find out why they have these rules. !!!!! And other places don’t !!!

We’ve visited a couple of times now and the staff are so friendly, today we had Sunday lunch and it was brilliant and cauliflower cheese was amazing, value for money excellent , we will be visiting regularly, highly recommended

Superb friendly greeting. Lovely clean pub. Food ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. My mum ( who is 80) thought the young chef in his early to mid 30's was extremely handsome and his lasagne was the best lasagne she has ever eaten. Whilst I agree on the food as my Red Thai curry was delicious , I feel she may be a couple of decades wrong on the chef's age. Thanks Everest Inn. We will be back

Absolutely fantastic experience here. Professional friendly staff and the pub was very clean. Home-made food was fantastic, the chef certainly excels at his trade both in the cooking and presenting of meals. We will definitely return and be telling other members of the family and friends . True A star experience

Just Had My Granddaughters Birthday Meal here Tonight, Food was Excellent and Adele and Her Staff were Brilliant as Always. They brought My Granddaughters Birthday Cake Out, and They were all Singing Happy Birthday To Her. Can’t fault this Pub, Adele runs a tight ship, and it shows. It’s Spotlessly clean, and they pull a Great Pint Of Carling. Well Done Everyone !

Great selection of food and beers here my particular favourite meal is fish chips and beans but we have had burgers,hunters chicken,steak and scampi and it is always nicely cooked and tastes great.A refreshing pint or four of Heineken always goes down well too and there’s always a warm welcome here from the friendly staff.Keep up the good work.

We went as a family for a few drinks and lunch. We were basically shouted at when we walked in by the rude land lady who said we had ‘two hours’ then we would have to leave. The pub was by no way busy!! We social distances outside. Kids played on the play frame where there was an unsafe gate that broke. She came out blaming children for this then slammed us like our kids did it. They weren’t even on there... We ordered a platter to share. Meat was over cooked. Nachos like they were made yesterday and poor value for money. We were told to leave after our 2 hours (thanks) yet she allowed a group of footballers stay that were there before we arrived. Complete hypocrite. Will not be going back. Terrible food and land lady has a vile attitude!

A party of 49 went to the restaurant on Tuesday 18th February. We are a walking group and as there was a large number going I had pre ordered. The service and food was excellent. With such a large number you would expect perhaps one complaint but there wasn't one. Everyone said what an excellent meal it was. The staff were very efficient and friendly and the whole party were served quickly. Will definitely book again. Thanks to Adele and all the staff.

Went here with friends for food and drinks. We ordered five meals which were brought quickly to our table. The food was hot and well presented. Each meal was absolutely lovely. The food is reasonably priced with loads of different offers on and the drinks...

This pub is so much better since its makeover. The decor/interior is cosy but modern, the staff are very friendly and there is a lovely outdoor area.
