Closed before the stated opening hours and demanded we drink up at 5 past 9 Appalling service in a bar with zero atmosphere Won’t b back and wouldn’t recommend a visit Drive past, there are better bars within a few miles

The main Bar Staff are lovely but unfortunately they are unaided by the Owner. I would avoid. We used to attend here regularly for a quiz night but then with absolutely no notice they decided to cancel.

I went to the Elm Tree Inn today to buy a £40 voucher only to be told that I’d have to return at 3:30pm as the boss wouldn’t be back until then and only he can print off vouchers! This doesn’t make good business sense at all, I couldn’t return later so I went to Brucefield Farm Carvery for a voucher instead. Such a shame that something so silly has resulted in your loss and your competitors gain.

Great for a small gathering with friends/family, barmaid very friendly (made our night/nights) - Two large TVs with live sports available and great food too. Although a little dated this is definitely one of Livingstons hidden Gems!

great experience wonderful food fantastic waiter and chef we had a great time and were made to feel very special, nothing as to much trouble i have recommended to friends who have also had a great experience

We called in here at 8.35 and food stopped being served at 9pm so we were cutting it a bit fine but it didn't matter to them. This is a typical little basic pub with locals. Soft drinks were cheap and varied. We had two pasta dishes and two pizzas and they were delicious. And great prices! Waitress was lovely. And she gave us the remainder of the pizzas home. Didn't try the Italian Restaurant upstairs but since it is the same chef I imagine it would be great as well.

Popped in for a lunch with my mother gave our order of tuna panini and cheeseburger along with drinks and were told it would not be long to wait however after nearly half an hour we enquired as to what the delay was to be told they did not have any paninis would my mother like to order something else!!!Unbelievable avoid this place

Food freshly prepared by the restaurant up stairs. Excellent food and at a price that's hard to beat.

Stopped off here for a late lunch as heard the Pizza's were good! Shared one with a friend and it was great that they did a half and half. The bad news is that the pizza was very poor, the topping was great although the base was barely cooked and uneatable - mentioned this to the waitress, she apologised but that was it - we were charged full price! Also had a bottle of prosecco although at £18 for a remote bar/restaurant felt it was a bit steep.

Small and friendly bar area serving very reasonably priced drinks with comfortable, informal and friendly environment. Ten of us spent the evening here and we were impressed with the relaxed atmosphere, service and food - we ordered pizzas which were very nice. La Campana restaurant is upstairs but food is also available in the bar area and is very reasonably priced.

This is pub below the Campana restaurant. We stopped for lunch hoping that its link to the restaurant would make it a bit above average. The pub itself was clean and pleasant and the staff were friendly. Our food was really rather average (we chose pasta dishes in line with the Italian theme), the food was hot, filling and pleasant but nothing to write home about. So nice local pub, food OK, but nothing special to note.
