This was a brilliant pub for drinking, with a well-lit and cosy interior! The leather seating is very comfortable and pipes surrounded by purple lighting is a stylish feature on the wall, counter is very neat itself. Staff were friendly and I had a pint of Strongbow Dark Fruit, appreciating the clean table!

Johnny has been our food and drink server all day (and night) as we’ve been using the Wethersfield app, he is the friendliest, funniest and kindest guy ever: we’ve misorderes a few times and he’s rectified it on our phones and sorted it asap. Loveliest guy, phenomenal service and done Wetherspoons extremely proud. We’ve had a phenomenal family gathering get to gether and feel like Johnny is our lost cousin:

the food is extremely affordable and yummy and the service is always fast. The staff are so welcoming and the atmosphere is tremendous.

Ordered off the app. Johnny was fab. Lovely place to relax after a long shift.

Meet the lasses once a Month here early breakfast,always have Pancakes & fruit Today sure they were Frozen Pancakes not defrosted properly as couldnt cut thru 3 of them so hard, gave them to staff member and she said would see chef.Never came back with any explanation so I approached her again asking about chef her tone and attitude not nice said chrmef said not frozen had maybe sat to long before I got them,I said wasn't happy,more attitude.Shame as never had problems in there all the months I've been going.Poor staff attitude bad customer service.Dont try Pancakes 😡

Love this place eat here a lot staff lovely food excellent everything ( well one we thing the self closing door at the side door does not work properly so JANUARY FREEZING so when people go out the pub looses all its heat costing you money ) and freezing your customers love the place but

The place is absolutely filthy hair in my food they said it were mine because it were my colour cutlery was dirty the place need a good clean out the chief mashed the food like baby food it’s awful

Got the three plate meal, the pizza was really tasty, the loaded chips, not enough toppings and the dip was very cold almost frozen.

I have order a full English breakfast 4 times each time it is just say warm. The food is not been fried fresh I think it's been kept warm.

It is very clean and tidy the staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is fantastic. The prices are reasonable and the food prices are reasonable as well I highly recommend I will go back there again

The location of this site is easy to find, and interesting because it's an old cinema. I placed an order on the app for a sirloin steak, this has the option to add a drink at a discounted rate, however the app does not allow to add a drink, so it had to be ordered separately ( therefore over charged) I ordered 6 onion rings, for a small extra charge, when the meal turned up, there were only 3 rings ( therefore over charged) therefore as the chef can not read orders properly, and the app is not fully functional I will not be returning here.

Given wrong curry, waitress adamant the Tikka was Korma. Forgot part of the order, and had to be asked for it. Again told the wrong curry had arrived. She just walked away! I ate the curry, it was fine, just not what I ordered. No one came to ask how the food was until someone brought our ordered drinks. When asked if the food was ok. I said no, I was given the wrong meal. She aploogised, and said they are the same price. Not really the point.

Quiet Friday morning waiting for my car to be serviced I popped in and ordered a full English all was perfect and staff were lovely nice and polite, Thanks for a pleasant breakfast 😊👌😁

Standard spoons Dining room looked like a scene from an old people's home

Cheap and cheerful. Smelled as if carpets might have needed replacing as the whole placed needed freshening up. Tables and menus not very clean. Steak had a fair bit of gristle. You get what you pay for.

My son's peas were still frozen !

Didn't have food but the place is great. Near town a d lovely staff.

Have only ever had 2 meals here, both breakfasts and both were barely luke warm. On a positive note the hot chocolate is lush!

Typical great value Spoons menu, great selection of affordable beers, nice and clean, plenty of staff everything you come to expect from a Spoons boozer, well worth a visit.

Went for a no-nonsense family tea to celebrate the end of the school year. The drinks and food were ordered via the app and both came quickly and the food was was really good and tremendous value. 4 adult meals and drinks was £40.

Popped in last night with some friends for a bite. All had various food types. I had classic curry which was very nice and portion was big enough for post 9 pm. Staff were friendly, service was quick. Prices were reasonable, all in all a nice night.

I visited here twice and found the venue, the food and the beer to be perfectly satisfactory. As a chain pub it of course lacks character but it is busy and lively and all the staff are friendly. I cant ask for much more than that!

Stopped off in Morpeth on a road trip home from bonny Scotland and got a pleasant surprise. We were there shortly after 8am and were virtually the only folk in the pub. It's a Wetherspoons and as ever, you know what you're going to get. A couple of traditional breakfasts duly arrived to accompany the coffees we'd already acquired. We'd been served by reasonably friendly staff, despite the early hour. And whoever cooked the food was on form. The breakfast arrived hot, nicely cooked and aside from the butter being almost as hot as the cooked food, we had few complaints. Even the baked beans that more often than not have skin on them of differing thicknesses escaped that joy and were evenly cooked and mostly fluid. It was an enjoyable visit, the pub was clean and tidy and we headed off home fed and watered.

The staff and quality of food are fantastic. Brilliant value for money always and never disappointing. Thanks for the lovely memories.

Collecting glasses and plates in a old washing up bowl🤣, no beer matts Have the air conditioning on when it's cold any how, Bar staff fighting with water and pans behind the bar and the toilets don't work. Stinking

Porridge this morning dry as sticks and full of lumps how hard can it be to make a bowl of porridge? Such a shame as my friends and I are there every week twice a week,should have learned after the last bowl which I did complain about and the waiter returned slammed the bowl down and I politely said one wet porridge!

Another trip to morpeth and good that i can rely on a nice bit of late lunch and a drink while up there of course driving so coffee it was and free refills and a little fish and chip lovely perfect done the job stayed out of the weather and good atmosphere as the place filled quickly the harder the rain come down nicely priced great value for money

Our breakfast was cold which is a shame as we went for our meals there over the weekend and everything else was fine and when we complained all we got back was "oh alright"

Noisy and busy, but the service well made up for it - they even offered me a fork for the pancakes. Food and drink quality was everything we expected, and plenty of parking close by. Water temperature in the sinks where you wash your hands was excessively hot, however. Good Spoons overall!

Lovely old building, which Wetherspoons have turned into a really nice spacious pub. Usual array of Wetherspoon food and drinks. The food was really nice. Toilets on the ground floor too 😀 Very polite staff.

Only popped in for a drink but on a Saturday it wasn't too busy and service was friendly and quick.

Was taken aback when entering this pub as there was a dog barking round the corner at a table. When I enquired as to whether Wetherspoons had changed their policy on dogs a member of staff advised me that they let service dogs in. This was a West Highland terrier on a plain lead. He then said it was an 'Anxiety' dog. Yeah.... I suppose the idiots who were in a few months ago vaping were suffering from anxiety as well. As usual, out of stock of what I would have liked to have ordered - no tuna & mayo baked potatoes & no Whitley Neill gin with your meal, although it was available at the bar. Funny, that. The scampi & chips were o.k though as was partner's fish & chips.

Loaded fries are NOT loaded, very disappointing. Clearing of tables really slow to allow new customers to sit. Staff clearing tables put fingers into glass whilst asking are you finished, well I am now thanks, 🤮 then laughed they had done it.

“We work here so we can have a lock in” is what I was told from the CLAPPER (maybe manager?) clapping at people saying they had to drink up but when challenged I was told the above statement. Give me a call, txt or email if I’m wrong u know who Iam. Get some proper staff or education them properly

This is a standard Wetherspoons located off the Market Place in Morpeth. We stopped here for a drink one day and breakfast another day during our stay in the town. Couldn't complain as a real ale was on a 99p offer, so had a couple of those cheaply! The place seems pretty busy and has the bonus of the toilets being on the ground floor! Serves a purpose.

Awful atmosphere gentleman unsure if manager ? Micro managing staff and extremely rude in approach to customers , not us but others around who were just enjoying night .

Usual Wetherspoons interesting large building previously a cinema. Bustling atmosphere quick friendly service and amazing value. £11.50 for burger chips and two Pepsi Just what was needed for a quick cheap hotel to eat.

Great place to meet up with colleagues/ Friends. As always Spoons is a very popular place & serves beers & decent food at great prices. Quite a large building with plenty of seating. Good warm & friendly atmosphere. Service is pretty quick, although can be lengthy wait an occasional busy days. Good polite staff. Toilets are clean & tidy. Will highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

We met family for a coffee before attending a loved ones funeral.

A former cinema (1926-1999) named to honour Dr Walford Brodie. Only one of the Festival beers on which is a shame. A Spoons with toilets downstairs is always a plus 👍🏻

We’ve eaten in Spoons all over the country but first time in this one. Great food, cheap drinks, you know what to expect. Couldn’t fault it, friendly staff. Plates cleared very promptly. What’s not to like
