The Edgy Veggie in South Hams

Dropped in for a quick lunch. Expensive for what it is. For example a small piece of frittata and a very small salad for nine ounces odd. Went home and had toast to supplement. Disappointing as had heard good things.

My family and I really enjoyed our teas, coffees and cake here. It was a very busy Friday in Totnes and this place is an oasis of calm with a relaxed atmosphere, delicious cakes, lovely drinks in lovely cups and very friendly staff. We will be back!

Great food in a lovely setting. Our meals were all excellent, a fabulous selection of cakes too. Good coffee. Would recommend for vegetarians, vegans and everyone who enjoys good whole food.

Absolutely delicious real food, cooked from scratch with good quality ingredients. A treat. Lovely staff. I will be calling in every time I’m in Totnes. You can eat in or take away, nice garden space.

Incredible fresh food, I had breakfast, it was perfect in fact it was the best breakfast I have ever had in a restaurant, its a must visit, very friendly staff, a colorful decor that feels very welcoming, do go you won't regret it

Our first visit and not the last. Whilst I am not vegetarian and most certainly not vegan, the food was most enjoyable. A very good soup of the day, Thai coconut and mushroom with a hint of spice. Frozen pre packed ready meals to go. Fresh flowers on the table. A pleasant little café with a courtyard tucked behind the shops on Fore Street. 🇬🇧🇳🇿

A friendly cafe in Totnes with outdoor seating in a courtyard surrounded by flowers. The inside is small but cosy. The coffee is excellent but the cheese scones are particularly delicious! All their food is of a high standard and there is a lot of choice.

Edgy serves the best food ever. Tasty,beautifully cooked and inovative. I could sell my cooker and eat through their range of frozen meals and be very happy. Service is friendly and efficient. Wish we had an Edgy in Penzance. Such a good addition to Totnes and it's very good choice of cafes.

A typical Totnes cafe, but with a lovely calm atmosphere and great choices of vegetarian fayre. Excellent

A small cafe with a very limited choice of menu. Soup or curry on the day we visited. I had the very bland soup which actually tasted as though the leeks had been burnt and the cauliflower had seen better days. I couldn’t finish mine. My husband says his red Thai curry was better, but too much chilli for me. We went to buy some of their speciality pasta on display, but it was way out of date. We mentioned it to the staff who checked and then came and took it all off the shelves. Obviously no one has been checking any of the sell by dates. A bit worrying for a cafe that prides itself on ethically sourced food. The brownies we bought for the grandchildren were dry and not really appreciated. There are so many of this type of cafe in Totnes who cater for vegetarians and vegans. I would recommend trying them instead.
