The Eagle Cafe in Brentwood

Always use this cafe, very tasty food and very quick and friendly staff. The prices are very reasonable. The cafe is always clean and tidy.

What a little gem. Spotlessly clean, very friendly, food simple and perfect. Bacon roll and builds tea really hit the spot. Exceptional value too.

Came in for breakfast recently, good service, friendly staff, food arrived promptly and was very nice. Will return when in the area. Free parking nearby.

I come here quite a bit and can honestly say you will not get a better breakfast anywhere, service always good. Food always consistent and spot on! Good portions, good value, highly recommended!

visited this little gem, it was quite an extensive menu for a cafe of this size, but wow, what good quality food. I had a full breakfast, and my wife had the lasagne, excellent quality, the service was prompt, the girls serving were helpful and cheery, the place was clean and the prices were very reasonable, I would highly recommend this place to anyone, well worth a visit, I'm sure you will be as impressed as we were. Popped in for a sausage sandwich takeaway, as cafe had been recommended by a customer of mine. When I returned to car, I was a bit taken back at the serving. The sandwich comprised of a single standard sausage cut into 4 lengths. Not sure if that is normal or they were just thinking I needed to lose some weight and being helpful🤔. Anyway, seemed a bit stingy! Sorry Eagle, fail. I am sure the full breakfasts are better🤷

A friend and I treat ourselves once every few weeks to the best cooked breakfast anywhere. Friendly service and fantastic food. Choose set breakfasts or choose your own combinations. They even do fantastic fried bread, the fried eggs are always perfect and bacon delicious.

It's a basic cafe but very clean and the ladies are lovely that serve. The food is great. Try the full English!

I stopped by fir the first time ever on my way to an appointment and I had a chocolate milkshake which was delicious and a meal, the menu choices for a little cafe were so varied. You can watch the Chef cook on the premises so you know its prepped cleanly and hygienically and my meal was cooked to perfection, I can highly recommend it. The ladies there were so friendly and couldn't do enough for me. So I give the service a 10/10 too.

This is a great cafe, traditional menu, very efficient and friendly staff I've eaten here many times whilst working nearby and it's always been a positive experience.

A regular visitor with my family for Saturday breakfast. Food is always excellent, staff are always helpful and I would recommend this traditional Cafe to anyone.

I was served up a meal with a suspicious looking dark sausages, I suspected they had been cooked up several times? It was hard to cut and didn't taste too good, the beans certainly weren't of the Heinz standard, the egg looked as if it had been laid by a tiny bird, a couple of hours later my stomach was churning over and through to the morning of the following day. Maybe because the cafe was so busy standards have dropped

My nan is in a care home jus up the road this is only a few minutes walk, the place is spotlessly clean seating is adequate for all and the menu is large and varied. You can also request any changes or additions to your meal. Staff were lovely when we were there very kind and welcoming food was good quality and decent portion sizes and options. A lovely little place.

Really good food, fantastically cooked and very good value. Eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, chips, two rounds of toast and a mug of coffee for £6.90. Perfect. Make any excuse for a visit.

So many choices and vegetarian breakfast options. Proper old school breakfast with a great variety and top quality food. Best toast I’ve ever had. They also have a large menu of lunch options. Will keep coming back here

I have visited the Eagle cafe on a number of occasions and I have never been disappointed. A varied selection of different breakfasts (including vegetarian) at reasonable prices. You have the option of either bread or toast which is a nice touch. As well as the more traditional cooked breakfasts there are lighter choices too. Portions are generous and the service is excellent. A great cafe with great staff.

This is a great cheap and cheerful old -skool cafe. The sort that are now becoming rare in the UK. I had the full English breakfast but the sausages were real quality!
