The Dutch House Cafe in Greenwich

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! The meal portions are generous, the food is fresh, and it is all incredibly affordable. For only £22, we enjoyed a delicious adult meal, I got ‘The Med’ breakfast and a child’s meal, along with drinks including juice, Coke, and a cup of tea. The ingredients tasted fresh and it was all very well presented. The Med came with grilled halloumi, eggs, fresh salad vegetables, spicy beef sausage, toast, and a side of olives and honey. It was a healthy yet hearty choice. The child’s meal of crispy chicken goujons, with fries and baked beans was also well-cooked. The fries were a little greasy, but they are fries, so it is to be expected! It was very busy when we went, which was a Saturday morning/afternoon, so quite noisy, but they have outside dining, and a small booth area if you want a quieter experience. The service was outstanding, friendly, and attentive, making this experience even better. Given the quality and the pricing, this place offers unbeatable value for families or anyone looking for fresh food on a budget. Highly recommend this spot!

Our first time today. Great place to visit. Food piping hot and really tasty. Coffee was great. A like hot coffee latte. Service was great and overall a super place to visit. Thanks for the welcome. Will be back for sure.

Awful place. Cold food and very ruder staff. We waited for a long time for food and when it came it was cold. We complained to staff and she really didn't care. Will never go again.

I've reviewed on Google as well though I really love it here and how friendly everyone serving is. We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside with the nice weather though inside would have been fine too. Toilets are clean and portions are massive.

More of a bar-cafe, it's in a former pub building. Run by very nice, friendly people, affordable, they create a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. There's a car park and plenty of unrestricted parking nearby, so well worth a detour if you're in a vehicle and need a stress free stop.

After visiting relatives and on our way home, we stopped at the Dutch House for bite to eat. What a great place. The staff were friendly & helpful. We ended up having the Sunday roast and we were very impressed with the meals. Very tasty & huge portions. We will definitely return in the future. Highly recommended.

Family lunch get together, great food and a good selection. Very friendly and lovely staff. Will be coming back soon but with more of us.

Lovely fresh roast dinners for Mother’s Day really delicious meals and reasonably priced. Also had a singer who was very good which added a nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

The Dutch House is a beautiful building and the restaurant has a lovely interior. We came for a Saturday girls lunch - the staff are friendly and inviting from the outset. Monmouth coffee was a delight, I had the jerk chicken salad which was delicious, lots to choose from on the menu and prices are very reasonable. Lots of families there dropping in. I’ll be back with the family.

From the moment you walk in you know this is going to be a good experience. Superb decor, fixtures & furnishings! Greeted and served by friendly, helpful staff. A varied menu, that didn't disappoint. The quality of food products is very evident and are cooked to your requirements. I have many food intolerances and was relieved that Ben understood this well and was happy to cater for me. We will be back soon 👌

Despite their published opening hours being 8am to 11pm on a Wednesday, we turned up at 6pm only to be told they’re closed. Similarly went there for breakfast on Sunday when apparently they don’t open until 12! Consistency of opening hours is surely key to being successful?
