We came in tonight for a drink at eight at night we were the only one's in there which was a shame as in the 90's the place was rammed but times have movedon but over 9 quid for two pints of madri and Stella isn't bad the barmaid was lovely would rather drink here than a pub that was once netto

Enjoyed Sugar Shed and the Halloween party. Very lively.

I haven't been in here for a very long time, and boy has it changed. It used to be dank and dirty looking, but now it's really not. They have opened it up and made better use of the space. If it wasn't for the band I went to watch, then I wouldn't have normally gone there.

Certain beers were not available. Only one person at the bar, so service was not too good. For a pub, there should be at least two people at the bar.

Really run down. Expensive for drinks considering they are using soda cans for your mixer and charging £3 and not even giving you the can. Toilets are vile. Shame really I can imagine it was once a good pub.

It was good. The beer excellent and the service too.

Staff ripping people off drink paying for a double Malibu and orange and two double coke and Malibu just getting orange and two coke for 15 pound is a disgrace think everybody is pissed. and has stupid has then and the door man with a terrible attitude before even entering because can’t read ages right or just can’t read will definitely not be going again .

Great place for a drink the owners are sound very friendly they use to have the soft rock bar getting busy in there now very lively 5 stars for them looking forward to food there soon as well thanks

Good pub. But the cleaning is very poor. Toilets not cleaned on a daily basis. Tables and floors still have beer stains on them from yesterday or from some other day. When it's quite staff should clean. Not just stand behind bar. Staff and public smoke e cigs in doors.

Okay has outside seating and it has parties and d.j.. Go again but only Saturday night not Friday

Brilliant for either a relaxing drink or bands

At time of visit (Friday evening around 9pm) had about a dozen customers, very very quiet. Probably picks up when they have live music which it seems.is coming back soon. Very clean, prices are competitive.

1st time in this pub and we were not disappointed, great band, great atmosphere will be definitely going again

I went to a party last night upstairs and it was a nice room, lovely big staircase that would look lovely for weddings etc. Then the main pub bar downstairs, band on and very busy. Shame theres one particular female staff member who is always very rude and ignorant and seems to dislike my step dad for some unknown reason and causes problems for him eventhough he's probably one of their best customers. I think this needs addressing asap

I won a roast for 2 people ...went at 5pm ..think they finished at 6pm ...bar staff excellent...guy dishing carvery out very nervous...food could not rate sorry for the price

I went in today. Not been in for a few years. Shame to see they no longer do food and there was only 3 other people in there. This place used to boom. I know it was the middle of the day. I can honestly say that this place is still a nice place to go for a drink. Bar staff great, regulars nice to. Shame to see it so empty. Good moretti

It is possibly one of the worst places I've been since going to the tavern in New Brighton. Cheap beer that's fine. That is all I wish to say.

Friendly pub, we stayed in a room upstairs which was basic but very clean and cheap, and a lovely breakfast

A bit pricey compared to other bars in Liscard but decent enough atmosphere to have a good time. Went when there was a band who were pretty good. Nice barmaid too think her name is Vicky.

Nice pub in the centre of Wallasey. Food and drinks were reasonably priced. Waitresses were not really open and cheery. Especially when it's not very busy, they could make a bit more of an effort

Horrendous food awful and staff rude will never go back

Popped in here for a light lunch. I had the mushroom soup and my partner had a steak panini, plus an order of garlic bread. Food was tasty and filling and service was good. Will be back and will recommend to others

We had a Roast Dinner here, one Sunday. I can honestly say it was the worst one ever. Portion size was tiny. Would not recommend eating here

It's a boozer. They do sunday lunch for six quid. Assuming a two third margin that leaves two quid a plate for the ingredients. I had the haunch of venison au jus paired with a delightful 1988 chateau la tour. I followed that with a cold straightener au the alley and was then escorted by my driver (constable jones) to spend the remainder of the evening at the pleasure of her majesty in a little know hotel (la custordié suitè). The beds were a trifle firm.

We attended a christening party in the upstairs function room. Didn't even know it was there but is a greet place for small to medium gatherings. Three staff were very polite and friendly.

Great family pub with breakfast all day

Not impressed with my drink. I drink vodka and tonic, normally with ice & a slice. There was no lemon and the tonic, which is poured from a large bottle in the fridge, was flat. Disgusting.

A great place for a few reasonably priced beverages. The lacking of locking doors on the toilets let it down somewhat.
