Ping's House Chinese Takeaway in Wirral

This is our regular when it comes to ordering a take away. The food is great, hot and full of flavour. Never had any issues or complaints. Never had anything missing and we always get the freebies thrown in. There are negative reviews here about delivery time. This is always advertised on their website and ultimately if your not happy waiting you can easily go and collect.

We ate here on recommendation of a neighbour. Didn't regret it. The food is really good quality and the amount you get is amazing!

Very very disappointing. Ordered food which should have arrived 1hr after ordering, finally arrived nearly 3 hrs later and was cold.No apology after numerous phone calls to see when it was arriving, just told short of driver!

Very disappointed. Had the beef curry and every pieve of beef I had to take out as it was unchewable. Most of the chicken balls were nice but a few were very tough and tasted as though they had been refried.

The nicest Chinese on the Wirral. They do the best salt and pepper chicken! Good value for money when you order on pings website, just eat have made the menu more expensive on there app!!!

There is plenty to choose from on their menu, the food is excellent hot with generous portions. The hot and sour soup is very good.

OMG!! We usually use another local Chinese. Ordered from Pings for the first time this evening. The portions are HUGE! Double the size of previous outlets. Couldn't eat it all. Lots left for tomorrow. Absolutely blown away by the value for money. Definitely won't be going anywhere else, ever again. Well done!! You have a wonderful business. 👏👏👏

First time ordering from here everything so really nice and hot. Prawn crackers let us down a-bit being stale. Quick and affordable. New local Chinese!

Worst special fried rice I've ever had well over done rice stodgy and greasy and 1 prawn in a tiny piece of egg chicken wings rank and it was all cold

Three hours to deliver, rude staff, stone cold food - awful

Never had a problem with my orders from here but tonight the chicken in the fried rice was undercooked basically raw and like jelly luckily I only ate one peace but my 7 year old ate alot! Absolutely disgusting. Wont be ordering from here again.

I had this recommendation from my niece's boyfriend Sean Harrison and it absolutely lived up to what he had said. The prawn toast was to die for and sweet and sour chicken was delicious. Restored my faith in Chinese takeaway food, would definitely recommend to anyone, enjoyed every mouthful as did Mum 😋😋😋👌

Food has gone down hill and prices have gone through the roof, with the 50p service charge its now also £3 pound delivery

Thank you the best Chinese food we have had for a very long time. Everything we ordered was delicious. Brilliant idea putting holes in the containers to stop the food from sweating. Will definitely be ordering from you again!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great food, dont overdo MSG so flavour retained. Good VFM. Eat from here again. UPDATE Regret to say that this has gone downhill, badly. Food has become lukewarm, the 'beef' dishes were like leather, the chow mein .my daughter wouldn't eat. Staff have also become rude, so no longer going to go, and be telling anyone who asks to avoid. Shame

Best place around for chinese. Great portions, piping hot food at delivery. ORDER ON THERE WEBSITE!. Cheaper than just eat and all the rest for delivery, as they all take there cut. My favourite is the salt and pepper pieces..hmmmm. just try, you wont go anywhere else!

Ordered for the first time via Ping's website. No confirmation of order… nothing. Just my bank transaction to verify I’ve paid £40 plus. Phoned an hour later to hear my order wasn’t even cooked. Excuse was the weather. Asked if the kitchen was was impacted by the weather. Response was curt to say the least. Awful customer service. Person cancelled my order without even listening to me. If you can’t cope with Friday night and a bit of rain/wind without being rude then don’t put yourself in a customer service position. Can’t even explain how furious I am.

Ordered several times before and had good food. Not this time, got over cooked frozen chips and a meal with raw chicken, and I don't mean a hint of pink, it was practically clucking. Never again!

Ordered from here today because the food last time was lovely but this time the whole order turned up wrong wen we phoned up we got no apology and the lady we spoke to was awful she didnt apologise just shouted downd the phone my son spoke to her she just shouted i spoke to her she shouted then put the phone down then the same with my husband absolute disgrace

Worst ribs I have ever had, dry like charcoal.

Shocking have ordered from pins lots of time... but now they have decided not to include noodles & rice with meals that they already charged alot for!!! So sweet chilli chicken is now not £6.50 for a meal..... what rice with it need to pay another £2.90 beyond a joke £9.40 for a meal that last week was £6.50 will go else where nothing but greed!!!

Placed order this afternoon to be delivered at 6 cancelled my order at 5.50 fuming.

Food is excellent, great delivery service food is always red hot, wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Ordered the Fillet Steak in black bean sauce this evening.....wow. Tender and plentiful. Steak melted in the mouth. Cannot recommend Pings House enough.

Love the Chinese food, but you must try their salt and pepper chips. That is so nice. Give yourself a treat.

Made an order they told me It would be an hour and half with i didnt mind waiting because I rang at 10 to 6 i then phoned after 1 hour 40 minutes the told me 20 more minutes it was an hour more they left me waiting 2 hours and 40 minutes for my tea by the time when it had came i was not hungry my chips where soggy and ive had the worst stomach the morning after I rang up to speak to the woman about it and she's was not bother atall because they threw in a free bottle of fanta i was a regular of atleast twice a week and now they have lost my custom for the way they was not bothered atall about the food they was giving out never mind making me wait 2hr 40 minutes witch is a joke to make someone wait that long for there own tea witch they have paid for

Awful Called to politely advise they'd made an error which amounted to maybe £2on a £20 order. Not only did they refuse to rectify it they called me a liar. I have never left a bad review however this is well deserved.

At last!! An authentic tasty Chinese- that delivers to moreton! Just discovered this place today- ordered duck rolls, sweet & sour chicken & deep fried combo- O.M.G! SO tasty. Prawn toast was amazing, duck rolls were lush & the crispy won ton was best I've ever eaten! Massive portions, great value &you could taste everything was cooked fresh ,arrived piping hot & took about 45 mins! Can't recommend them enough :)

Ordered during lock down 4 times and honestly I’ll probably never go to another chippy. Loads of meat in the dishes and always piping hot, staff also very friendly.

Lovely special curry and fried rice. Arrived on spec, seen to immediately and meal was ready within 5 minutes. Served in containers that can be easily reused. They can also deliver.

Absolutely disgusting I ordered 60 quid worth of food and waited over 2hrs for it to arrive was told it would be at least another hour. Then they hung up worst take way ever

Tried for 1st time tonight and really impressed. Looked spotless and meal was delicious. Chips nice and crispy, no grease and great curry sauce. Definitely our new 'local'.

Really rude when you phone up , asked about time for delivery and was told 45min-1hour it actually took 2hr15min and they even phoned and said do you want to cancel after 1hr45min lol food was ok ,lady in shop very rude

Had to ring to ask where the food was? After 2 hrs of waiting! Would have been nice to contact me to let me know my order wasnt even being thought of

Very easy to order by telephone, gorgeous food and very nice staff both on phone and via delivery.

Waited 3 hours for my meal went into the shop to complain waited a further hour while other ppl were getting served I told them my daughter was diabetic and has a strict eating time table which just got ignored then we decided to give them a second chance and they barred me as they said I was angry when I went in store last time I could understand if I had smashed the place up but i didn't even raise my voice every staff member was arrogant and rude to me not the other way around

Absolutely love this place! Tried a few things of the menu and never been disappointed. Amazing salt and pepper chicken on the wirral! Really good portions,and value for money. Great location in the middle of Upton Village with parking right outside to pick up, delivery times are as expected when it's the weekend so if you can pick up then would recommend. Would eat here every NIGHT of the week if i could and my waist would allow 5 stars all the way!

Ordered on JustEat and they cancelled my order after half an hour. Didn't even ring me up themselves to say sorry, just had a JustEat rep say sorry but they closed early. If you're going to close early turn your orderpad off before you close not after and don't leave people thinking they're going to be getting food, can't even order anywhere else now because everywhere else is closed as you left it so late.

We ordered a Chinese takeaway on Saturday 30/06/18 and the only thing that was edible was the sweet corn soup ,Chilli beef taste like it had been recooked a few times ,like dried out dust it didn’t taste like beef ,that’s for sure ,spent over twenty pounds for poor food ..

Went for sausage diner tonight on way in very poor no onions no peas! Chips sausage and gravy!!! All so stood waiting while there packing orders!

Literally the best chippy ever. Chicken satay skewers are the friggin bomb chips are amazing just love this place

Was great when they first opened...gone downhill. Shame 👎
