Towards the end of last year the dog bakery randomly appeared on my Facebook stream. Based on this I booked a weekend away to Harrogate with my friend and her dog and how pleased am I that we did. The afternoon tea was the best we’ve ever had, lovely light bread for the sandwiches, delicate pastry and moreish cakes . The star of the show though had to be the doggy afternoon tea complete with puppicino. Emma was a lovely host, really down to earth and honest with a clear passion for providing the best for her customers. None of us finished our afternoon teas so took food home. Whilst ours was finished as an evening snack Reggie still has leftovers which may well last him the weekend. Therefore , excellent value for money afternoon teas all round. Will definitely tell my friends and be back :

Great afternoon tea. We visited with our dog on a Sunday early afternoon. The owner couldn't be any more accomodating. The dog tea was great and so was our afternoon tea for two. People say it's expensive but I think £20 pp for what we actually got was good value, I've visited other places that have similar prices yet you probably get half. The dog afternoon tea was £9 and there was quite a lot, plenty of biscuits to keep our dog going for the week. Emma was lovely as were the rest of the staff. The food was very good, especially the cakes. We couldn't thank them enough. It was a lovely few hours in the afternoon followed by a walk around the Valley gardens.

We had a great time having the afternoon tea for humans and our little dog Ronnie. We all thought it was delicious! On arrival The staff was apologetic as the afternoon tea was going to be slightly later than we had booked and even the owner came over but it wasn’t a long wait at all and it was a nice touch making us feel valued. We were given drinks a pot of tea and a puppuccino and we waited for the afternoon tea. The staff were great asking if we were ok and fussing Ronnie. Everything we ate tasted great and the owner Emma had asked prior if we was happy with the options and if we wanted to change anything which we did and it was lovely honestly. Some of the best savoury we’ve had on an afternoon tea. We all had left overs as we were full. The place was modernly furnished. The atmosphere was great as regulars were coming in and out which made it feel very homely. Would highly recommend

First time in today! And will be back with my dog next time. Miss mollies dog rescue next door recommended this to me. The coffee is superb, i had a lotus biscoff cupcake which was absolutely delicious! - I bought some pumpkin balls for the dog, and some peanut butter dog head cookies for the dog (we've tested both, went down a treat) Emma the owner is a wonderful chatty and accommodating woman! The cafe is clean and she serves quality food and drinks. Highly recommended even if you dont have a dog :)) 5☆☆☆☆☆

Although the concept is great, we found the afternoon tea massively overpriced for what you get. Slightly shocked we were told there was no dog bin on site, when our dog decided to have a poop mid lunch! It is a lovely dog friendly place however, not the cleanest and really difficult for parking!! Sadly disappointed

Popped in whilst looking for a quick lunch. Very unusual setting for a tea room but works well with about 10 tables set up between the pews & the altar. The pews act as an overflow area if all tables are taken but we arrived as one was being vacated. Very friendly staff, a relaxing atmosphere and excellent value for money. Menu is limited to a choice of rolls, soup and a tempting range of homemade cakes & scones. Rolls could have improved if pickle, mustard or mayonnaise had been offered but the cakes & scones made up for this as they were very nice. The church itself is a delightful building and worth a visit in it’s own right. An interesting alternative lunch option.

4.5 stars. Wonderful food, possibly the best wings and falafel I've had, served with fantastic fresh salad. Main issue was I did not get the advertised hummus and garlic dip with my meal so everything was incredibly dry. Dry falafel, dry bread and dry chips. The thought of eating falafel without a hummus/garlic dip is actually baffling and sickening to me, if I had known they wouldn't include it then I wouldn't have even ordered. Please, *please*, *PLEASE* actually include this for future orders, am hoping this was just an honest mistake and you are not defrauding customers since your website says this is included (screenshot attached). DRY, DRY, DRY. I think I'm off to drink a reservoir... I did have an extra chilli dip which I paid £1 extra for, did this somehow cancel out my promised humous/garlic dip?! Like I give you extra money and you take things away?! I hope not... *Please* check in future or update your menu if you do not actually intend to supply said-dips. *Dips and sauce are important! If I wanted dry food I'd eat the Sahara Desert*. Anyway, fantastic food but do check your order.

2 young lads running the shop. 1 cooking was in filthy clothes and on his phone most of the time. Music was very loud. Fish and chips were disgusting, had an upset stomach for the rest of the night after eating half. Would not visit again. Think they could do with some staff training.

The service from two youngish girls was excellent! Dare I say typical Yorkshire! Portikns are generous, represent good value and flavoursome too!
