Nice pub - went to watch my husbands band play which was a gr8 night with a good crowd. Check it out when the next band is playing there as have quite a few on I believe 🎤🎸

Food menu is a little limited but we'll present and responsibly priced. Very friendly and helpful staff serving a good selection of beers and lagers. In a lovely location, well worth a visit if you're in the area. Checking the Website for opening hours is advisable.

What a lovely pub and the owner's are an extremely nice couple. There was a friendly welcome to a clean, bright pub, & the beer garden was a lovely sun trap.

We have driven past so many times on the way to Barnstones and liked the look. Decided this evening we would pop out for a quick pint. Unfortunately the pub we were going to was closed so we started walking and we were there I just over 15 minutes. A warm welcome and a well deserved pint was soon in our hands along with some local chocolate which was amazing! Thank you for the advice on walking back … was much easier!

Went to a wedding reception there, and it was very different to the usual,drag artist for entertainment and tapas for dining very different and very very good

We have been to The Dirt House many times and have never had anything but fantastic service and delicious food. One of our favourite pubs!

Went for lunch with my husband,sister and her family. The food was lovely nice big portions really worth it.

Highly recommend this venue as somewhere within close proximity to the Crematorium for a wake. With thanks to Dickie and staff for an excellent buffet 👏

Nice pub, very small but good use of space to make you feel comfortable still. We got a dirty burger and some gammon and chips for the little one. Altogether the food was good, burger did seem to be a frozen one rather than a fresh or high quality but still nothing major wrong with it. Gammon was good apart from being a bit tough in areas. Chips were absolutely spot on though, best I've had anywhere in a while!.

This is a great little pub that has a great atmosphere, beer selection and live music. It has a 70s vibe with Gammon and pineapple chunks featuring heavily on the menu, similar music - but thankfully the beer is much better! Food ingredients are of good quality and offer good value for money. The burgers are definitely their speciality and recommended.

Came here tonight when staying in the area (ish) for work. What a place! Everyone was so welcoming and polite! Food was spot on! Well priced! Will definitely be returning when I'm up this way next!

Love the rock music albums on the walls, the guest beers (ales, but can you turn down the CO2 please) and the great service from behind the bar.
