Stopped off for a drink before our match against Banbury. Great atmosphere, lovely friendly staff, lovely food, plenty of choice of beer and food and good-sized beer garden. A must if you are in Banbury.

Visited yesterday, as this is the unofficial away supporters pub for Banbury fc visitors. Place was packed as expected, great atmosphere & good range of beers, spirits etc. asked about food & was given a menu. Menu is limited, but still a nice choice. Opted for the Ford GT burger & my friend had a smaller burger. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve eaten in a long while! So tasty, with plenty of sauce ( homemade apparently, as are the beef patties) , served with a homemade slaw & chunky chips! Absolutely delicious! Good service too considering how busy they were! Would definitely recommend!

Very helpful when arranging our journey to Banbury for a football match (whcuh was postponed in the end). Travelling with 2 children, the landlady was very supportive with parking arrangements and making sure we would've been looked after on arrival

The Bell were fantastic with helping my daughter celebrate her 30th birthday. Nothing was too much trouble from setting up, to the Dj and staff , everyone had a brilliant time celebrating. Thank you.

Had my 30th birthday party here, and it was amazing. Absolutely brilliant service, all my guests had the best night as did I! Highly recommend for any parties☺️ all staff were super friendly.

Fantastic pub. Homemade burger patties tasted absolutely gorgeous. I had the Viper burger - spicy with jalapeños. It didn’t disappoint! Great service too and welcoming staff.

The Bell is the heart of the community. There is always a very warm and friendly welcome at the bar. I can not fully express the care and help that they unconditionally give to the local community. Wonderful pub with such caring people.

Moving away from Banbury and couldn’t moan more about not being able to sit by the fire pit with pint of Guinness here. Lovely place that’s been very well taken care of, very friendly regulars, and will always be the soft spot for me.

The Bell has done a lot for the local community this year by handing out food boxes to families who needed some help over the Christmas holidays.

Super dog (and people!) friendly pub with tasty burgers and pizza. Happily go there on my own and with friends and the dog loves it too as she's usually spoilt rotten by everyone in there :)

thank you to the bell for a great day with santa. we brought our whole family including my brother and his family and we had a terrific day. The food was lovely and santa was even in the barn and each child got to go and see him in the grotto to receive their gift. There was a slight wait on food but we loved this as it really dragged out the day for the children.we were even allowed to bring our dog and he was in his element as the pub also provided treats for him. thank you for such a great time and to all the staff who really engaged with the children especially my little lad who has a lot of problems with loud noises. thankful to have this pub on our doorstep

We had a fantastic time at the kids lunch with Santa. My children really enjoyed themselves and the food was amazing they really tried to spread out the time so the kids had a full day of fun. They even provided colouring and pencils for the children to take home. Can not wait to bring them again next year. Well done the bell for doing something for the the children.

Our experience at the kids Christmas dinner with Santa was incredibly disappointing. Right from the beginning, there was a lack of acknowledgment upon arrival. We placed our food order at 13:05, but an agonizing two hours later, it still hadn't arrived. Feeling compelled to feed the hungry kids, we had to walk to a nearby shop next door for alternative food. It was evident that the pub was understaffed despite knowing the number of bookings. Other families shared our dissatisfaction; one even received a refund and left. When the food finally made its appearance, the order was wrong – despite specifying no tomatoes due to an allergy, the burger was served with tomatoes. To add to the frustration, the barmaid accidentally knocked over my pint, drenching my wife and her jacket. After cleaning up the mess, she brought the food back out, but in the process, leaned over my plate putting the children's food down and with her jumper brushing against my burger. At this point, my enthusiasm to complain had waned.Questionable hygiene practices The disappointment continued as the kids couldn't eat their dinner; the utensils provided were red hot. Even Santa's presence was lackluster – he briefly walked around without engaging much with the children. The children did go meet santa and get a selection box from him. But even that didn't change their feeling on the day. We endured the experience longer than planned because my wife's jacket needed time to dry on the radiator. Throughout our stay, no one bothered to clear our table of empty glasses or plates. Overall, a thoroughly disappointing and poorly managed event. When leaving I did give the woman behind the bar the feedback as they need to understand how disappointing the whole visit was. Two families spending £150 combined were very disappointed. Its Christmas and money is tight so we were expecting an exciting visit for the children and good food. We got neither. Once walking home the barmaid did message to say sorry offered to pay for my wife's jacket to be cleaned and two drinks on the house. I wasn't moaning to get something out of it. It was honest feedback. But the more I think of this. If we were to pay at the end and not at the start, I wouldn't have paid for the food! Looking at the reviews we may of had came on the wrong day. but unsure if we will return to see

Friendly pub, great vibe, wonderful staff, delicious food, large selection of Beers, wines and spirits. Fabulous outside areas with regular events going on...Bands, Djs, Discos, Seasonal Party's, Live music to name just a few. What more can I say? A great all round local pub.

The bell Banbury is such a lovely pub!! Tom and Sian have worked really hard to do it all up and it looks lovely and honest. The food is great! My dad loves the burgers and my mum the chicken burgers BUT the best think is they do vegan food….vegan pizzas, vegan burgers! I’ve never found a pub that caters for me so thank you!! I go on most weeks and Tom and Sian and Chris are like my friends, I will always be grateful to them! If you don’t come in you’ll be missing out!!!

Been coming here for a while now never had any problems the staff are great same as the food nice garden at the back pool table and darts available no need for anywhere other than the bell 🔔.

Been here twice now with Spennymoor FC and used it as a pre match hub. Sian, Tom and the team are so welcoming and their hospitality is first class. A proper pub with a fantastic atmosphere. See you again next season hopefully!

Just come home from here, must say at first glance the rubbish In the car park put me off but must say inside staff really friendly, food was amazing and good value for money. The food was really nice and the good portion size the pizza was huge! My only criticisms 1. My pizza wasn't as I ordered, but it was fine. 2. Music was really loud. We couldn't hear each other speak was turned up just before food arrived. 3. Mens urinals need fixing. But generally the pubs really clean. Would I come back.. Yes was really nice and glad we found a new place to have some food being fairly new to the area.

Went on a Sunday afternoon and The Hog Collective were playing. A great afternoon of blues, rock and acoustic guitars. Pub was great, great decor, great covered/paved area out the back. Haven't been for years and it's been upgraded really well

Fantastic little pub with friendly patrons and staff. Fireplace for the winter and all the standard beers on tap plus a few extra. Dart boards all over the place, a pool table and an outdoor area for the summer sun. TVs for sport not on premium channels. Only downside is they don't have sky sports, but given the size and the prices that's not actually a bad thing either! Great little pub all year round, quality for a meet up with some friends for a game of pool/darts - probably the best pub in Banbury for an after work pint.

Never mind the mega pizzas! The burgers here are pretty bloody special. I convinced the bar staff to add another patty and an egg to my already massive double. The triple was lush! It doesn’t have a name yet. I have my sights on the 4 layer. Think they should call it the Quattro. Outstandingly flavoured, juicy and delicious! A top job and a great fill!

Can’t recommend enough great food, lovely atmosphere excellent service. Can’t wait to try out more things off the menu.

The Bell is a very friendly place to visit. The have a great selection of quality food. They do a selection of Pizzas which are named after car brands. The Bentley pizza is the best by far, along with a selection of quality side orders to choose from. The bell also has quality premium lagers and a varied selection of sprits and wines.

We came back to Banbury this weekend to see friends at our favourite place. Had a lovely meal. Some new faces behind the bar since last time but they were amazing special mention to Josh who was such a lovely man. Thinking the Bell clone friendly staff out in their barn as everyone we have ever been served by are so polite and knowledgeable of the products. We know from the owners by how lovely they are the way they must train the bar staff. Was sad not to see Sian but she has been very poorly from all accounts so get well soon if you see this not the same without you. Having said that Tom always welcomes us and makes us laugh. We had the chicken wings this time and they were to die for.My partner had the hot sauce and i had the Thai honey. Looking to be back over Christmas and stay for longer. Well done Bell team great as always

Was the best surprise rock&roll party. We just went for a few drinks, and ended up liciting for nice bottles of quality alcohols, quality drinks, and after the auction we had a really lovely dance, it was really great . The idea of auction local businesses offers is brilliant. Nice place, the staff is awesome

Possibly one of the best pubs in Banbury. Bit biased as this is our local but it always has a great atmosphere. The locals and staff are so friendly and the food is always really good. The pizzas are the best. There is always a different guest ale available as well as the staple Doom Bar and a vast array of gins and rums. Keep up the good work guys!

Visited the pub with my family from Swansea I’m May 2020, really impressed with the pub it’s staff. The managers (Sian&Tom) welcomed us with open arms and treated us with the best pizzas I have tasted . Lots of regulars in the pub and all are very welcoming and friendly, great atmosphere cosy outside area that is heated. If your ever visiting Banbury drop in and enjoy

Visited The Bell last night. It was lovely sitting in the beer garden on a lovely sunny, warm evening. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely as always. A great pub, with a lovely atmosphere.

Love this pub! Went not so long ago and do just about every drink going plus child and dog friendly. Food was amazing, love the pizza. Staff are so nice and chatty and service with a smile. The garden is lovely too, so well laid out. Will definitely be going again. Thanks to all the staff. 😁
