We always come for a walk to the dip when visiting family , a great spot to sit and have coffee and cake and look out to sea , today I had one of the homemade cheese scones it was one of the best I have ever eaten , whatever the weather always a great establishment for a warm welcome and delicious fair, great ice creams in the summer and hot chocolate in the winter .

Coffee was £3.40 for a tiny cup, lukewarm. They can charge what they like as they are the only cafe open.

On a cold damp winters day when out for a walk with your pup along the dip you pass a small kiosk situated above the promenade and on this day 26th Jan we were surprised it was open. Two coffees and two paninis served up within a few minutes, the person serving was standing in for the owner and was extremely courteous. No tables or chairs were out as everywhere was deserted due to a miserable day although we were offered a couple of chairs.

Love love love the sausage roll. Such a large, elaborate and tasty food from such a small beach cafe. 100% would recommend.

They do the best egg mayo sandwiches I've ever tasted. Lovely hot cup of Yorkshire tea in a proper mug. All enjoyed at their outdoor seating area with a fabulous view of the sea.

On one visit I was so offended by the rude arrogance of the owner. Delayed serving me whilst doing whatever trivia it was, when I showed I expected better I was told off. Never shopped there since. In case there are many staff there the guy who offended arrived by light beige Honda CRV or the like, sorry if this review is based on one rogue member of staff, but I suspect as such a small kiosk it was the owner himself.

We often walk from the town to old Felixstowe along the beach and the prom with its paths further on near the golf coarse.

Staying up the road for a few days and when out walking the dog I discovered this place. Fantastic find. You can have tea in a mug and sit on the surrounding benches on the seafront or have takeaway cups. Lovely cake and fantastic hot chocolate. Saw there is sandwiches and other food available so will try this on my next walk out. Perfect views to enjoy with your cuppa too. Fantastic service.

A lovely find that a kiosk on a regular walk does vegan cake and ice cream options. Just what you need when having a walk on the seaside.

Incredibly helpful staff, very patient and understanding with payment when we hadn't anticipated it would be cash only! Given time to source and count coins, and delicious ice creams were enjoyed in the sunshine. Can't recommend enough :)

The place is small, but they have many chairs and tables around that everyone can find a place to seat. They have home baked cakes and they are amazing! They have sandwiches, snacks, ice-cream and drinks (hot and cold). The coffee is lovely, the food is delicious and the view is peaceful. We always go there when we are in Felixstowe, it's like one of the must visit places. Recommend it to everyone!

On the way home we stopped for a break and saw this hut by accident. We had a cappucino with a great ocean view. Such a lovely break.

When it is warm enough, this is without doubt my favourite spot to pause in Felixstowe, there are no crowds, lovely beaches, wild swimming and to top it all The Dip café. Quality items sit happily alongside traditional treats and for me anywhere that sells Nossage Rolls (Veggie) is always worth a visit. Owner is relaxed, friendly and today was obviously loving his job but who wouldn't with such a huge sky and sea view to gaze at, brilliant.

Lovely place for sea fishing but sometimes depending on the tide you might have to sit on sea wall,my friend caught a large lobster here last year, and a bass! Whiting are in now just keep inside the middle of the bays if you go slightly over you might get the odd snag!

Lovely pub with lovely staff and lovely food! What more can I say. The two of us, plus our 2 dogs, were welcomed to the pub, where we enjoyed good locals beers and excellent home cooked food. Wish we lived nearer. Well done , a proper pub!

Sorry to say it was the worst breakfast I've had in the cafe. But if I pay £15.10 for coffee and full English I expect the highest standards. Bacan was so bad I couldn't even eat it. The picture says it all. Who would serve a customer food that looks like that. Lovely staff but all they did was apologised for the drop in standards.

Had the best veggie breakfast I have ever had here. Couldn't recommend it higher. Staff were friendly and accommodating even lent me a walking stick as I had hurt my knee. Good music too choice of loads of LPs
