Very tasty food. A different menu to most Indian restaurants but lovely food.

Quite expensive, didn’t like the service, not up to the mark as price Toilets are pathetic, beyond pathetic rather. Beer was quite bad, kingfisher didn’t taste like kingfisher, believe me I had my share of kingfishers

Great place .. lovely ambience.. out of this world indian food.. most of the customers were Asian when we went.. that says a lot for the quality of the food! Recommended if you know your Asian food..

Food was very average. Much better available. Service was good. Come on Dhabba, move with the times you used to be great.

Very nice food and makes a change from standard Indian fare

We ordered 2 starters, naan and roti along with chutney. The Bhindi sabzi was good and naan was really soft and tasty. Malai kofta though tasted like it had soured and was too bitter. The chutney was too watery and irritated the throat. The staff were unattentive and service was really poor. We had to wave for around 10 mins before they noticed us waving. Also the kulfi tasted really really horrible. All in all it wasn’t a very good experience and I am definitely never visting again.

***Honest review**** Searched for Indian cuisine as the name says and opted. Ordered Dhabba Khas Chicken which is waste of money. No north Indian taste at all . Also Rice quantity served is half bowl which is not atleast 1 portion size. Nutshell , high priced restaurant just for the interiors , food is not good , will not recommend.

Quite amazing and authentic Indian food in the heart of Glasgow. Plenty of indoor seating available. The menu is quite extensive with amazing cuisines. Must try if in Glasgow.

Tick the box, won't be back, there are better places to go. Expensive set lunch at £15.95. The starter and maon were lukewarm. The starter definitely was not fresh/freshly cooked - dry chicken and tough, chewy, coating which should have been light and crispy. The main was okay, although not spicy as we had asked. The one scoop of ice cream was very nice.

I have had many curries but the Bhuna Gosht I had here is the best easily! Will definitely be back.

Best food and good Indian restaurant in Glasgow city.

I've been to Dhabba numerous times and every time the food and service are top class. Every dish I've tried is full of flavour and the servers are knowledgeable about the food and wine and are always courteous and helpful. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Indian food and is visiting Glasgow.

Unbelievable, food is brilliant

Pictured is aloo gobi, Maki aur Matar rice & Murg Kadai. Food, service & atmosphere was great. Would give a higher rating if portion sizes were slightly larger for the price.

Came here last week with family for an evening meal, whilst visiting Glasgow. The food was out of this world and the customer service excellent. The dishes were all mouth watering and was very difficult what to choose.

Food was delicious, the north and the south indian...the chaats are really good...the chicken and lamd are qell preüared...the sambhar was not upzo the mark, but the chutneys for the dosas were really tasty...

Probably the best lamb Rogan Josh I've ever eaten, great mix of flavours in the samosa chaat. An all round delicious meal, highly recommend.

All things considered, the food was below average (in terms of quality and in terms of quantity also). We ordered dal tadka, malai kofta and cheese naan (we couldn't see or taste any cheese in naan). I would suggest if you're nearby this restaurant please visit one of their competitors

Overrated and overpriced. The food quality and taste is just ok, but it is way overpriced. The delivery order was not properly packed and anyone could have opened it on the way.

Located in the heart of city center. Nice ambience. Plenty of indian cuisine options. staff is friendly and attentive. There is wide range of drink catalogue. Recommend to family and friends.

Left £150 deposit, as a surprise payment for meal for friends. DHABBA took the deposit then charged friends full price for meal. 2 phone calls, apologies, but still not received the refund I should have. Be very wary about paying deposit. I have now asked my credit card company to escalate this grievance. Surely in contravention of section 75 of consumer credit act.

The Dhabba was a really awesome place for dinner and it satisfied my craving for authentic Indian food. Tasmiya and the entire crew were so warm and welcoming. STEER CLEAR! Ive eaten indian all over the world including in India and this is the worst ive ever eaten in my life absolute disgusting. Sweetcorn in fried rice is an absolute embarrasment to indian cuisine! Undercooked spices making sauce feel like its full of sand meat chewy. Then had the cheek to charge 2 people £90 for dinner even after complaining. Staff very rude. Not a nice experience at all. WILL NOT RETURN

We secured a table for 7 at very short notice (same evening). The food was exceptional and the waiter very helpful with our choices. Services was great. The atmosphere was a little lacking but it was a Tuesday evening and only about half full.

Been going to this resturant for years and the food was always great, went today and will not be back , shocking food , cold and microwaved even the Nan bread had been microwaved, the Nan bread in here before was lovely , the one we had today was supermarket bought , it must be new owners as it was a shambles, the worse curry I have ever had , actually raging we paid , also my friend got a long black hair in her dish and had to send it back, at least when her dish was served it was hot.

Extremely over priced for food that's below mediocre. The puchkas used in pani puri were old and smelt of rancid oil, we had to send the starter back. The portion sizes were too small for the price. Wouldn't want to go back again.

Authentic north indian food plus liquor. Nothing comes close to this place in terms of authenticity in Glasgow. D only other place which comes close is Dakhin but for South Indian cuisine.

Had a meal in this restaurant, food was very poor, after our starters we waited almost an hour before I asked where are our main meals, was told 2-4 minutes and yes it did come within that time only to find our food was cold, I will never be back and I would recommend it, I felt it was over priced for what we ordered.

Set lunch menu very good and with a varied menu this was an excellent choice for weekday lunch.

We believe that the food is the best Indian food on offer in Glasgow, truly authentic. Excellent service and great atmosphere, no wonder we come back again and again, always the same high standards!

I only asked for a salt lassy. It was too salty. Then I asked for samosa chaat and asked to make it spicy. But it was hell spicy, with lots of green chillies. So, it might be only my experience but food wise I can only give 2 stars. Ambiance, service is fast overall good.

I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THE FOOD. MY MAIN MEAL HAD 6 PEICES OF CHICKEN IN TINY CUBES, SAUCE WAS BLAND, THERE WAS 4 OF US AND EVERYONE AGREED WE ALL LEFT HUNGRY. I really don’t like to leave a bad review but this was a really poor meal from start to finish firstly chicken tikka was dry and nothing like chicken tikka my brother in laws starter was to spicy that he couldn’t eat it then the main course came my sisters meal 4 bits chicken for a main course at £18 disgusting again food to spicy my husbands sauce you couldn’t eat it sat waiting 10 mins for his rice to arrive having to ask the waiters 3 times where’s my husbands rice again had the same issue my brother in law sat waiting for his sauce to come for his main course having to ask 3 times where it was just not good enough no music playing either just all noise of people talking no atmosphere at all £85 per couple won’t ever go back we were very disappointed we are big tippers but left leaving no tip as I was very disappointed that we even had to pay for the food and service we got and it ruined our night out beyond rubbish if I was the boss I’d be sorting that right out it’s not good for business sorry for poor review but it was very poor

Four of us went for dinner, so disappointed my main meal supposed to be like a butter chicken, it was a plate of bland soup tiny peices of chicken , hubby's main was tandoori chicken, dry & tastless. The staff are unable to bring what was ordered. Rice didn't arrive ( 3 times I had to ask), Sauce fir tandoori chicken dudnt arrive ( again several times) The meal was finished and they brought the sauce ???? UTTERELY RIDICULOUS, WASTE OF MONEY AND WE ALL LEFT HUNGRY. WONT RETURN TOTAL LET DOWN

A wonderful find in the heart of Glasgow! We had yellow daal, sabzi takatak and plain rice and I was pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of all the dishes. After a number of days of having mostly English food, this was a welcome change 😃 the staff were polite and attentive.

One of the best Indian food (authentic feel like in India 🇮🇳) Must visit even loved by the Scottish people 🥘🧆❣️😻 Not too much spicy and tastes amazingly amazing triggers your taste buds and at moderate price. Best for team lunch, family gathering and friends. Loads of vegan options which was awesome, portions are just right. Naan was top tier and the aloo gobi was delicious. Would eat here again!

It’s too expensive for the quality of food they provided. I was expecting more authenticity. My Paneer Tikka was on the expensive side but the taste wasn’t great.

Excellent food and service was wonderful. Asked for a special request for my daughters birthday and didn't say no to anything.

Met friends for the pre-theatre which was reasonably priced. Unfortunately all the dishes, starters and mains were very dry with no sauce whatsoever not even on the side. We used to eat a lot here pre-pandemic and the food was always tasty and freshly cooked as they prided themselves using fresh and natural ingredients. Very disappointed on this occasion and I don't think we'll be back.

After 35 minutes of waiting time we ordered food which was Tasteless and there was no kids menu no food for kids. It was the worst experience of my life I recommended to my Family just because of the fake Rating on Google. We were 14 persons and paid more than 200£… had McDonald’s after that, food was below than average… Not Recommended At All even if they offer you free food. Overrated and extremely expensive 2/10

Brilliant and proper northern Indian food. Lamb rogan was 10/10! The mix grill was 10/10. Such good service, helpful with their recommendations and really welcoming. Made our last evening in Glasgow a memorable one.

Just had another fantastic meal at The Dhabba. The atmosphere was great, a couple of family birthdays, the staff where brilliant, as always. Cannot recommend this place enough, well worth the drive from North Wales. Thank to Pete and Nad, and all the staff. We will be back soon.

'Wow I am in Food Heaven'. I can not thank the Owners/Staff/Chefs for such a authentic Indian food experience. The flavours where divine and my taste buds where dancing throughout my entire meal. Great service but food was severely lacked and flavour, Lamb dish had 4 peices, no flavour and over £20, expected alot more from this resturant.

Very disappointed. It’s pretty expensive compared to most Indians in Glasgow. We had a sharing platter to start. Pretty poor. The curry’s were terrible. Had Goat Rogan Josh & a chicken dish. The curry’s were like soup ..watery & not much flavour. We were really disappointed esp given the prices. This place doesn’t come close to Nakodar Grill / Shiah Mahal & Mother India (main restaurant). Defo won’t be going back.

Excellent food and service at the Dhaba. The waiter was very helpful in offering us recommendations on the menu. Fantastic authentic North Indian cuisine. The restaurant has a good atmosphere, the manager is good at overseeing everyone and making sure you are happy and being looked after. Service is efficient. We have also been to the Dhakin which is equally as good and has suitable GF menu. A must visit when in Glasgow.

Seated quickly on arrival but not asked if drinks required for 10 mins, a further 10 mins to arrive a bottle of wine. A further 10 mins before order taken including 1 starter. After a further 30 mins all mains arrived, when asked regarding the started the waiter just looked blank with no response. The food was good although with all extras rice, sauce, nan etc it is expensive. Meal finished again no attention after 15min requested Bill which was correct without the started being charged still no explanation. As we were given a voucher which had to be used in full we paid the balance due and left. Considering there were only another 9 customers can't see any reason for poor service. The person who seated us and took our order was seen leaving the premises during our meal leaving 3 waiters who seemed more interest in conversation among themselves. We left the Restaurant without anyone acknowledging our departure.

Amazing food and service. We visited here after visiting their sister restaurant Dakhin (also great!). Clearly marked vegan options (would recommend trying the vegan paneer). We were a party of 7 and everyone was impressed by their food. Service was also great.

Liked the food, specially starters. Ordered samosa chaat, aaloo tilkki chaat and dahi paapdi chaat. They all were awesome in taste then we moved to main course and ordered malai kofta, tandoori roti, bhindi 2 pyaja , daal makhni and sabji biryani. Everything was as good as expected. Ambience of Dhaba is beautiful. Staff is so responding and good. Overall a must visit place for indian food lovers if you live or ever visit to Glasgow.

I don't normally leave reviews but this is an exception! I have been here a couple of times. The food is beautiful! I say this as a person of Indian origin who can be hard to please Indian food-wise. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond their call to help with a phone that I had left behind by mistake. So very many thanks Pete for sending it back to me! It is my favorite place to eat when I am in Glasgow and will be in the future!

A regular stopping point for me when l am looking for a curry in Glasgow City Centre. It really can’t be beaten - top food, top service, top place! Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Interesting menu food was as per the expectation serving an Indian and above all a North Indian is not easy. Tandoorii fish was wonderful, chicken tikkas were done well. We had daal mahkani and chicken Dhabha as mains. Would prefer if they add chicken tandoori in Dhabha curry as the chicken was bland and a bit chewy. But many like it that way and in Scotland there spice tolerance is much less. I ordered Roku and my husband got a MacAllan they should charge more but give 50ml at least. But overall good experience.

The food was exceptional and the staff was tremendous. One of our party has an onion allergy (the worst allergy to have at an Indian restaurant) and the staff was extremely accommodating and walked us through all the options and even gave us a complementary appetiser. Cannot recommend this spot highly enough!

Was so excited to learn of the existence of vegan paneer and I was not disappointed! Absolutely delicious food and very warm, charismatic service. Definitely a place to go for a vegan visiting Glasgow!
