Very nice staff and cheap drinks

Very noisy pub, my new local but no need for the TV's to be on so loud even when football on, there is enough of them for everyone to hear and still be able to have a conversation. Food was nice though and roasts looked lovely The noise a bit off-putting but probably just because of football

First time visiting but what a lovely,interesting pub.Good selection of beers and friendly staff.There were four of us on bikes but it was no trouble as the Landlord opened the back gate for easy,secure access.There are no steps at the front of the property so it's accessible to anyone.Try it out.

Love this place, always feel welcome. Little outside area, serves food, serves beer and other drinks. What's not to like?!

Great little local for us. Food really nice, eaten there many times now, never had a bad meal and very reasonably priced. Really dog friendly! But also separate NO dogs section for those who don't share dog passion (or have kids, allergies etc). Has a great little beer garden with some sheltered spots and firepit. Staff are brilliant, always make you welcome, very friendly and super efficient - must mention Jane, the multitasker 🤩 she works so hard !

Beer garden more a beer patio but a nice feel to it and a sun trap. Heated room looks very inviting will definitely try it in colder weather

A great pub. Despite a limited selection of cask beers (there was only Hobgoblin on, and actually I opted for a draft apa which was very refreshing), this is a fantastic pub. The building is spacious and covered in interesting things to look at. It still retains an old fashioned pub character and the 'modern' beer garden is an absolute treat in the warm weather.

Top Sunday Roast. One of the best in Liverpool.

Walking the Allerton Country trail and passing the Derby Arms we decided to pop in for a quick drink. Modern yet cosy decor and a decent drinks selection, it was perfect for a chilly midday drink. I would love to visit here more but the bus service to my home from here is limited and black cabs are rare...oh well until the next time we venture this trail.

The whole family and the dog, went for a lovely, two course Christmas dinner ( the dog got the scraps ! ). Lovely food, warm, friendly atmosphere, great service, despite it being packed and a couple of cracking pints of real ale. Wonderful and cracking value.

Cosy, welcoming pub. It does serve Eat-In Food, but Only Until: Around 6pm. Dogs are welcome. Big range of Alcoholic Drinks, Medium range of Non-Alcoholic. Also serves Hot Drinks, such as Latte.

Just been here for a Sunday Roast, wow it was delicious, I had the Beef Roast and my Husband had the Lamb Roast. Very very tasty and plenty to fill you up. They made us very welcome and very dog friendly, Trixie was getting her doggy treats too. Thank you so much Derby Arms, we will be back for sure 5⭐

We visit this lovely place often especially for Sunday lunch which is lovely and great value for money .....but unfortunately we will be going elsewhere if we have to be spoken to like we were today for the second time by the barman, he is generally unhappy looking chap but he was extremely rude and annoyed that I asked for my order to be rectified....he was reprimanded by his supervisor right away but he it's just not acceptable to treat regular customers in that way...I wouldn't like to know how he treats first time visitors.....

I had my 80th birthday at the pub had a great time. The food was excellent the staff could not do any more to make my birthday any better I enjoy every minute with my family THANK YOU XX

What a great pub that I have walked past many times without going in. They have obviously invested a lot of money refurbishing the place and it's bright,, airy with a great atmosphere. The food looks quite simple (I didn't eat there) and it looks like it would be a great place for Sunday lunch.

Had a lovely meal there last night after coming back from my holiday not too expensive and all very hot. We also had a kids meal again excellent only thing I would say was it was rather large for our 4yr old but that's not a bad thing

Dog friendly pub that serves food and drink at good prices. Lots of events throughout the week such as music and quizzes. It's a lot bigger inside than it looks on the outside. Friendly staff and dartboard in the food area too.

Went to Derby Saturday afternoon. What a gem of a pub,great friendly atmosphere. This is my local now.We looked at the menu and the chef,Steve came over with his recommendations. Garlic mushrooms and Korea chicken. Unbelievable, restraunt quality.

Not to good, been 2 Fridays on the run for the music, First week bar staff spent more time on there phones then serving ( 2 Males) tvs on not a good night, band great .Second week barmaid on her own ( not her fault) same tvs on not nice, band good.

We went to the Derby Arms for a lovely tea and were served by Chloe and Pat, who Needless to say were very hospitable. The Chef (Brad) served us a delicious burger and steak which was delicious. Visitamos este establecimiento ayer para almorzar. Habíamos reservado una mesa para las 12 pm y las puertas se abrieron justo después y fue entonces cuando comenzaron los problemas. En primer lugar, el miembro del personal no nos preguntó si teníamos una reserva. Luego nos entregaron un menú muy reducido y nos informaron que no estaban participando en el programa de comida fuera de casa, que en realidad no nos concierne. Luego procedimos a pedir algunas bebidas que incluían 2 pintas de Pepsi y un vaso de grosella negra. Cuando probamos la grosella negra estaba muy suave y luego vino la Pepsi. Cuando probamos esto, claramente era Pepsi max, aunque al miembro del personal se le preguntó por Pepsi. Luego le dijimos que se trataba de Pepsi max, no de Pepsi, y nos ofreció una alternativa, pero todavía nos cobraron por las bebidas originales y el reemplazo. La experiencia gastronómica y las opciones disponibles fueron completamente diferentes de lo que se esperaba. Necesitan dar a conocer esto para dar una visión realista de qué esperar.

Pub lighting needs rethinking in the eating area, it was very dark which made it lack atmosphere. The music playlist wasn't appropriate for a Sunday afternoon lunch time in a traditional village pub. Sunday lunch was steaming hot and delicious.

My grandparents used to live close by so remember it when it was a smoky old local. Its changed a lot since I was a kid and now has a good food menu. Still feels like a local pub though. Def worth a visit

We were walking around Woolton and to the Allerton cemetery . On our way back we stopped for lunch and drinks. we just had sandwiches and a beer an wine. The service was excellent .
