After living in the area for years we finally visited the Den. Tea and a panini was ordered by both of use. We were warned of a wait, but it didn't take too long. Good quality ingredients and tasty. Well worth a visit

Yet another fabulous lunch at The Den. I have eaten here several times and have always had a friendly welcome, superb service and excellent food. I have tried something different from the menu on each visit and have never been disappointed. I recommend the quiches although all the freshly cooked food is well presented and the homemade cakes are always served in generous slices. Well worth a visit.

Reading the reviews I thought this would make an ideal lunch venue for mum & me. When we entered we were told they were busy & there would be a half hour wait. As it was quite chilly outside & there was only 3 or 4 people waiting we thought we would chance it. Our 2 soups came 45 minutes later. The cheese scone that accompanied it was lovely. The flavour of the soup was ok but not really worth the wait. The waitress gave us a £3 discount for the delay. Not sure if we would bother again.

Had Sunday brunch, scrambled eggs on toast, pancakes with maple syrup and fruit, all delicious. Beautiful roaring log fire also, fantastic individual decor, a million times better than your typical chain coffee shop. Over used phrase but it's definitely a hidden gem! Will be visiting regularly going forward.

We go to the Den a lot - its always friendly, cozy and serves good food. Today we had a pre-booked afternoon tea for a birthday treat. It was excellent. A selection of sandwiches ( smoked salmon, egg & cress, ham & mustard, cheese etc.,) followed by meringes with cream, chocolate brownies, bakewell tart, scones with jam & cream - a very good selection and all of it freshly made. Fully recommend!

Popped into this small cafe for a lite brunch and was pleasantly surprised at what we found. Good menu with lots of choice and a pleasant owner quick to take your orders. The cafe has bric a brac and odd items on the walls which makes interesting viewing. Lots of different seating options too which is nice. The food arrived quickly and was very good indeed.Cost of the food was pleasantly not high which you do often find in niche cafes like this.certainly worth a visit

After a tromp around Hereford, we were looking for a good meal at a reasonable price. We saw this place and on the menu was a vegan breakfast so we thought we would give it a go. Well worth it, the vegan breakfast (with a poached egg of course) was superb and the cheesecake after was to die for, The service and overall ambience was excellent. My advice is to give the big chains a miss (Zizzi, Pizza Express etc) and try The Den, you won't regret it.

Met up with a couple of friends here for lunch at the end of July. We were greeted warmly by the hosts and shown to a nice round table. A relaxed cosy place, ideal for summer or winter visits. There's a wood-burner! Great printed menu and specials board. My eggs benedict was to die for. The quiche looked, and I'm told, was, amazing. As was the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on sour dough. For pudding we all had the Carrot Cake. Wow, so moist and delicious. Best I've ever had I think. The food, ambiance and service was first class. The staff is friendly but not intrusive. Would definitely visit again. We had a browse around the lovely little shops within the Mill Farm complex after lunch and I got a very fresh trout from the great little farm shop. That was good too!

We were really looking forward to The Den reopening after being shut for a couple of months as it was one of my favourite places to go for amazing cake or a light lunch. It was a huge disappointment. I had a lemon and blueberry cake that had raw dough on the bottom and was as heavy as a brick. We were told that was how it was supposed to be. We also had a bagel which was nice but served with an inedible salad. We werent the only ones complaining. I have never left a bad review for anything before but it was the lack of aplology or acceptance that it was good enough. I would never go back.

Where's the menu? -there is not one !! Just what's on the limited blackboard!? .. went up to the counter had a look - that was enough - sorted.. 6 of us had booked a table .. and there was no rush so we were invited to sit on the comfy settees by the log burner.. but don't expect a quick service - very laid back .. we had to go up to the counter in the end to order as we had waited far too long,

Go for the decor alone. The coffee is spot on, but this has got to be the top cafe on the planet for comfort, ambience and visual delight. It lies en route from nowhere to nowhere, but if you found this review by searching for top nosh in Worcestershire, then make the detour through the surrounding hills to the bottom of the Teme Valley and rest your bones.

We popped in for tea, coffee and cake after a long walk in the Teme Valley. Service was friendly, homemade cakes were superb, in fact, everything was spot on. We noticed that the have a short menu supplemented by a chalkboard and I have to say that the selection was lovely and worthy of another visit to check them out. Lots of choice for vegetarians too.

At first we thought the choice was a little limited but once we realised the quality and deliciousness of the food this ceased to matter as my mother and I ended up sharing what we had because they were both so delicious. Mackerel and new potatoes with boiled egg and mixed salad and frittata also with a mixed leaf salad so lovely. We sat in the garden but inside was welcoming and eclectic and puds were interesting and a taste delight. It is situated in the middle of nowhere alongside a butchers, hairdressers, bridal shop, deli and lovely shop selling everything from pot plants to knickers. Well worth a visit.

We went along with some friends to this special event run by Chase to learn how to make vodka-based cocktails- it was a hands-on evening and such fun! Rhubarb vodka was a revelation and we bought a bottle at the end of the evening. The generous canapés were delicious and I understand some were made by the normal lunch chef so I can't wait to go back for lunch. Incredible value for £20 per head, including a party bag to take home!

I wanted to celebrate my birthday with friends and Jo the owner came up trumps, even allowing me to help with the menu- there is always a freshly made soup and home made quiche available at lunchtime. The food was absolutely delicious and we were treated royally. Prices are very reasonable and I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. The Den also hosts live music events....check out the Facebook page and see you there!

Loved it here! Not been since it's become The Den but the transformation is glorious, so relaxing on the huge sofas in front of the roaring log burner. Delicious lemon drizzle with a perfect cup of tea. Subscribed to events, too. Definitely worth a visit or three!

Just had a wonderfully relaxing cup of Americano and a slice of Guinness and chocolate cake at the Den, Mill Farm, in Stanford Bridge. Once a barn, the Den, which is a beautiful cafe/bar with comfy sofas and a warm log fire, is part of a small complex of converted farm buildings situated just off the Great Witley to Bromyard road. We have visited a few times now and have always received a warm and friendly welcome from the staff. Service is always quick and efficient. We loved the cake - probably the best I have ever tasted - seriously ! While we were there, another customer was tucking into scrambled eggs and salmon which looked truly scrumptious! If you fancy somewhere different, somewhere peaceful, if you want to be looked after, or if you want to just escape for a while, to enjoy your glass of wine, beer, coffee or whatever, then drop into the Den sometime soon. We think you'll love it - really!

The Den is newly opened and my local café bar. Jo the Kiwi owner and her team are fab, creating a very friendly and relaxed environment. Lovely country style cafe with benches, sofas, rugs, cushions and candles, and a proper log burning stove. Children are made very welcome. I love to visit for coffee and cake with my friends, but The Den is licensed, so great for a "Chardonnay lunch" too. This is the perfect stop off for groups as Jo also has a larger room with one big table, as well as long bench tables and 2 big sofas in front of the fire. There are also tables outside on the deck for when the weather gets warmer, well worth a visit when you are passing or make a special trip - there are a few interesting shops on site at Mill Farm as well, like The Larder grocery shop that sells Swifts' bread delivered daily from Ludlow. Enjoy!

Previous visits have been excellent, however they were totally unprepared for the festival traffic today. Kept accepting food orders and more and more customers, despite having a kitchen that is not equipped for the numbers. Was told a half hour wait for food, fair enough, however our drinks took 25mins to arrive and the food, 50mins. Bacon sandwiches used to be amazing here, but greasy bread with undercooked bacon that looked like it had been pinged in the microwave was a massive turn off. Won’t bother again, will stop somewhere else en -route in future

We were staying in Upton and visited the Old Anchor pub, where we enjoyed puddings that had been made at this establishment. On leaving the pub we decided to find the shop in order to buy puddings to take home. Delicious homemade steamed puddings are available to buy from the shop or online. The puddings are all made on site using traditional methods and are big enough for 2 people to share. Currently they are £3.60 each or three for £10. We bought 3 of course and our only difficulty was choosing from the huge range available. They freeze well so no need to eat them all at once!
